The check in was great, the getting the trailer was amazing. The actual trailer had no jack to lift the trailer from my truck, when loading it back to my truck for the second day it fell on my foot and broke my toes. I had to go to urgent care and have a boot put on. Then when returning the trailer the online return never worked so I got charged an extra $20 to check it in.Germain C.

The pricing was outrageous. $1500 for a trailer rental in California. Yes Cali is more expensive but 800x higher than anywhere else is ridiculous. Don't do it. Go elsewhere.JULIE A.

If you take a reservation for a specific location (especially when give a 3 well notice) adhere to it. Make sure the user knows they have to have the U-haul app installed in order to check in. Make sure the truck you've rented is actually available. I was sent all over the place eventually gave in a truck that was half the size that I needed which caused me to have to pay movers double the amount that I originally had scheduled for in addition to triple the number of miles I had to drive because I had to deliver the truck to a location that was 92 mi from my original pickup point. Overall this entire experience is guaranteed I will never use U-Haul again.Jana H.

My experience renting a moving truck was very poor this time. I was not given the 15ft Truck I reserved and getting the $50 Reservation Guarantee is a headache I still need to call Customer Service to get it and the 10ft Truck I was able to get was Empty on Gas and I was sent to the Gas Station with the Truck to put in the Gas myself paying with my own Cash and reimbursed later and when I returned the Truck I had to explain several times that I should be getting a Refund Credit to pay me back the Gas I purchased that cost more than the 10ft Replacement Truck Rental. I lost extra time moving having to do 2 Trips instead of 1 and the extra time to Gas Up the Empty Gas Tank. Please give me the $50 Reservation Guarantee to make up for the Extra Work and Lost Time from Moving.Mako S.

My unit was robbed as well as several others. They cut open the top of my unit and walked and took what they wanted. I mean where was the staff??? Why did no one see this on camera?People are living in there units. Hanging out in the unit all day. Then sleep there at night. They bathe in the bathrooms. The customer service was substandard. Upon check in the counter person did there job and rented the truck out. The truck had a bad exhaust leak. It sounded like a motorcycle. And upon return of the truck, the check in person didn't ask any question about the rental experience, only stated the total. I mentioned the bad exhaust leak and nothing was even said by the employee. I would not rent from that location again unless it's an emergency. No one smiled or even asked how we were doing. They overcharged us, said we used more gas than we did. When we received the final receipt in our email, they said we used the dolly (when we didn't) charge us for 3 gallons extra gas when we only drove 17 miles. I called and they put me on hold for 45 min, got someone to answer and they said it wasn't their department and put through to someone else which was another 45 minute hold. I will find an alternative if I ever need a truck again. Horrible service and they screwed us out of extra money.Anthony D.

The people at the front desk were nice but the unit that I picked up the windows and windshield was so dirty it made it hard to see. Looked like someone had spill milk or something on the glass but was never clean before renting it out to the next customer. I don't thunk I should have to clean a rental before I make a trip. I frequently rent from this location. However, I was a little disappointed with my last rental. I was filled gas to the exact spot when I picked up my rental truck. I was charged for 3 gallons of gas when I returned it even though I filled gas to the level it was before. Was not happy.ray U.
I rent from U-Haul all the time and never no problems until this location. Now you want to I er charge me as if I turned it in at 6am which isn't true. Regardless if that was the case I should've kept it and used it until next day turn in at 6pm. It's ridiculous not like you took a loss the office was closed regardless. So because you say to charge me it's charge me. Where's is customer service at because my god you would think you want to keep a customer not scare them off with petty ass charges.Chastity T.

All good, but on day of 1st access, one card didn't work: 2 attempts made in office to authorize new card before it was successful. Also, no carts available for us to transport items from car. Finally, a homeless person is evidently renting a unit to live in, suggessted by a bicycle with a loaded cart on back and an open door with clothes hanging and a light inside but clear that the person was making an effort to stay quiet. There were homeless people all around the storage area. Several were inside the space where storage “lockers” were. One man was clearly taking a bath/changing clothes on one of the stair cases used for getting up to lockers. There was no way for me to access the unit let alone feel as though it was safe for me to even use the lockers. Storage is clean. Some of the staff our friendly. But when i called to reserve a 10" foot truck and auto transport she's over chanrging me. For the equipment rent shes charging me for almost $800 one way. But when i called the uhaul office they only charge me for $514 for everything. I got lots of experience at uhaul offices in just one day. 3 different locations. The uhaul main office when she called me she asked me why they over charging me. AWESOME storage and customer service. Just wouldn't recommend, because if the area. Those sleeping outside, homelessness and those trying to get inside. Due to the homelessness and since it's not gated, I decided to leave to another place like Public Storage. You have amazing prices and good storage customer service, Just not as safe for customers at this location. My wife could not come by after work or when it gets closer to the evening. I am so grateful to UHaul (El Cajon, CA). During the pandemic I was without work and thought I had lost everything in my storage due to not being able to pay the monthly fee. I got so behind that I just assumed my things were already auctioned off. Instead, we were offered the deal of a lifetime, pay $100 and we could empty our storage.
