I needed a 2 inch ball hitch to tow the car trailer I was renting. It was a little bit of an inconvenience that they don't offer hitches to rent rather than buying one.

Not one thing. Your employees and management went out of their way. I was on hold they were busy and they called me back. I was amazed. No other place would go out of their way to call someone back that was holding and they did. Very impressive

Shitty front desk worker with a bad attitude. Didn't explain the contract and charged me double rate! Truck squeaked like hell. Scam fraud rip-off are a few things that come to mind when I think of U-Haul now!

Personally a little far from where we lived. Overall the renting experience was pretty good and fast. The van was working great too. If Uhaul could let us choose a better pickup time for 24hr period rent, would be much better.

Have 2 or more people available to check out equipment

Hire another customer rep. When it's busy, it's busy.

Amazing service as always. I drive from La Mesa and a closer uhaul location to come to this store because my experience is always great. The staff is friendly and helpful and the equipment is always well maintained.

Did not interact with personnel but wanted to flag it so this gets seen. Location does not have key drop for after hour deliveries which was very annoying/inconvenient.

The uHaul was supposed to have an 1/8th of a tank. The uHaul was completely siphoned of gas and barely enough fuel in the lines to get me the gas station. I was told that they continue to have gas siphoning problems. If they used locking gas caps over night they would help avoid this issue. I barely sputtered to the gas station almost not making it. I was going to be so upset if did not make it as 12 people were waiting for me at my move residence to load, and it would have taken me an hour of trying to get AAA or someone to get me gas. I could have also broken down on Main Street itself blocking traffic. This is just not customer service. The attitude was "Oh, we are sorry we get ripped off, and we are the victim.", but in reality, the customer is the victim in this situation. As a customer you want a full tank of gas so you can get going on your move and then fuel up at the end of the move before bringing it back or get penalized for returning it empty, not the other way around. Fix the issue please and please do not pawn it off on the customer. Also, the brakes were very squeaky loud and sounded like metal on metal on the front wheels. I told the return attendant about the brakes and gas, but not sure she will fix the brakes, and likely someone else will rent it and go out with the brakes like that. Other than that, my experience was very good and outside the brakes the truck was awesome. The store was well branded and merchandised too. The owner's customer service was very good, front desk person working with her looked good. The lot lizards working outside seemed to be smoking all the time and standing around a little much (just the manager i me), but the rental reservations and store help were great. The pick up and drop off was great. I really was impressed with the uHaul branding having spent 30 years in retail and corporate marketing and merchandising. I would rent here again or recommend it if there are 26ft trucks in the future, but I heard they are being phased out, likely because uHaul can make more money on forcing people to make 2 trips and make big bucks on double mileage and upsetting the moving customer. Keep the 26 footers or I will go Penske or other alternative in the future or hire someone. Keep the big trucks please. Thank you.

I had to drive 50 miles round trip since the return location I had in my contract was full. This keeps happening with uHaul. Tell me when I rent it if my return location is close by so I can decide if I want to even rent from you. Honor your commitments and contracts.

Lower prices.

Staff was professional and nice. Only problem was they were very busy every time I came in. Must be a good sign.

Mirrors were extremely difficult to adjust on my truck. I gave up but they were usable.

My return paperwork said that my return time for the truck back was 645 PM. The location closed at 5 PM that day. When I came back the next nay, the manager said too bad, I should have returned it so some other location. I told her that all the locations seemed to be closed, but she didn't care. Very bad customer service from the management. The lot staff was friendly and helpful, though.
