The only negative was the cars parked along the back wall for extended periods of time made it difficult to get our truck through when we needed access to our unit. The guy was very rude and would not honor my first month free rental because his manager was not there. I then went to the uhaul on sparkleberry and they helped me with no problem and no manager was needed I have my storage unit. This process is the most the difficult and they charge you a deposit when you use your debit card. I would definitely NOT recommend this location. Experience was horrible.Shaylyn A.

Although the equipment was OK the money came right out of our bank. But it's been for working business days and we have not gotten our deposit refunded back to us. That is ample time. You're very quick to take our money and to charge us if something goes wrong but you're not so quick to treat us with respect to return our deposit. I will not be recommending U-Haul. Business experience works both ways good service after the U-Haul is returned in the same condition which it was rented is imperative to do your part to refund the deposit to make it a good business transactionGina P.

I reserved a climate controlled unit almost a month in advance, but I showed up to move in and was told there were no climate controlled units available. There is Never anyone inside when you need assistance and next to impossible to get them to answer the phone. When doing truck and storage unit rentals they omit VERY important details in the process that end up costing you more money in the end but maybe that's intentional. Customer service could definitely be better. Kenneth is ok. Site manager could use a refresher course in customer service and how the leadership team is a direct reflection on the businessCarla F.

The receptionist was professional and patient but I will not recommend this location. I reserved utility dolly, cloths, and truck a week prior. When I arrived to pick up rental no dolly was available. I had to move everything by hand. Thankfully, I had my brother and brother in law to assist. I should have been notified prior about the unavailable dolly just like I was called the evening prior to rental about having to go to a new location for truck pick up.Richard W.

The one on 5604 forest drive It was nice the one on 7325 two notch road they denied me the rental because of my driving license being out of state and same for the one on Fernandina street. I rented the 7.5 x 10 ft. unit for almost two years! Always felt safe when accessing the facility. Having carts available to customers is a great service! Very clean and climate controlled space made such a difference! All my belongings were in great shape when I emptied the unit! No mildew or mold. Staff was friendly and always helpful! I cleaned out my unit only 12 days into the month and would have expected my rent to have been prorated since I checked out having not even used it half a month. I reserved a truck online two days prior to when I needed. We arrived to pick up truck, running a few minutes behind, once there no one in office. A number for the associate was posted on door as they were out on property. The associate finally lets us in. I am thinking I am going to be in and out because I have reserved a truck ahead of time. Well it did not work out that way. I was told that someone had checked in a truck, it was the incorrect location that they returned it to. Truck had to checked in, cleaned out and the truck had to be transferred to their location online before releasing it to me. Wait what, I reserved a truck online two days ago, U-Haul says its guaranteed or you get $50, had this party not turned in a truck in the wrong location I guess I would not have had a truck for my move in, where was the truck that I had already reserved with my CC two days prior? We were now about an hour or so behind and I was stressing. Associate was pleasant and gave me an extra hour for having to wait so long. My stress level returns when I go to turn truck back in and the store is closed by 5 pm. I think that hours were posted incorrectly. I expected to show up and turn my keys in to desk, we parked truck and put the keys in door. I was there with another couple and they did not know what to do either. I then realized after I left that there is this whole online check in for after hours after I have already parked, locked truck and deposited my keys at office. Needless to say, it was already a long hard day, I would have appreciated a heads up with the logistics and what time store closes etc.DANIEL C.

The drop off for the truck was great but when we went to get our storage unit we were given a unit smaller than what we reserved. The lady told us that the system will double book units and there is nothing she could do except give us a second unit that we would have to pay for. Now we did get the first month free on both units since we rented a truck but we will now have to pay over a $100 more per month than we were quoted.Matthew C.

This facility is always clean and safe. I rented my space for a long time, over 10 years I believe, with zero problems. The one thing that I wish had been considered when this facility was constructed is the access at the rear for my building (C). Vehicle access for my unit is limited to one lane because the additional space has rental spaces for vehicles. I wasn’t accessing my unit frequently but it felt like every time I needed to get to it there was always a truck or car parked in the road blocking the access to the elevator. Not only was the elevator access blocked but there was no way around the parked vehicle. This was a very minor inconvenience which would not cause me to refrain from recommending this facility or from re-renting the same unit that I used for 10+ years.ABRAM F. | Overall Experience

My belongings was in the storage since 2013. That is a long time to have a storage unit. I originally had two 10x10 units and downsized to one. During those times I was going thru a lot and almost lost the units but God didn’t allow it to happen. The prior management team under ASHLEY were a good group until they decided to break in 80 units on the back side C building. I was one of the units hit. I was very angry and wanted to move my stuff out of storage but I did not have any money to do so at the time. I was very hurt and I felt betrayed. The company got rid of Ashley and the whole group of workers that worked at the U-Haul under her leader ship. I was very happy to know that they did this. I was always afraid that they were going to try to do the same thing again. I like the new management now. The only complaint I have with them is knowing when they were in the office because often times they left a note on the door saying they were out on the premises and sometimes it was hard to reach someone. I realize the best time to come was in the morning.However overall I’m glad the U-Haul storage facility was there to help me. I rented trucks from the facility as well as have my personal belongings housed. Thank you for everything that you’ve done for me. If I need your services again I know where you are located. Our unit was temperature controlled and the facility was clean. However, it was always a tight fit to drive our car near to the building containing our unit. In addition, we emptied our unit and cancelled our unit but we still had 2 weeks of paid rent left on our unit.
