The units are infested with mice and rats. The tenants aren’t aware of the current problem unless they notify the manager about their unit having mice droplets and urine on their belongings. some staff members are not very familiar with the computer system as regards final charges and explanations when it comes to customer questions. I specifically asked for no dolly and no cover blankets. Online and in person at the desk. Employee assured me that they were not included. They were both in the truck taking up valuable space we needed for moving, so they were completely in the way. I hope I was not charged for them like I asked. The truck itself was extremely slow to get up to speed and did not run good. The tires or suspension at 50mph felt so dangerous, bumpy, and loose that it was hard to drive. My reservation for 7am was changed at the last minute to a different location. U-Haul failed to realize that the second location does not open until 9am. I was stranded at a gas station and had to pay for a Lyft to reach the original location. Somehow, U-Haul did not have the size truck available that I RESERVED. So I had to use a smaller truck. Terrible reservation staff with no concern for the customer whatsoever. The staff member at the B&A location who handled actually getting me a truck to use was very courteous and helpful thankfully.Michael M.

Very stressful experience ever, have to go to uhaul 3 weekends. First nobody called that the parts are missing and wont be installed on that day and they have rescheduled it next weekend and end up going there as i was scheduled but then again same issue~Missing parts, they could have called day before so aa not to waste my time and promised to give me 50$ discount which never happened and worst i have to pay addtl 40$!!! I also learned from my other 2 friends that same thing happened to them and ended up going to another company. I will never recommend due to its super poor service! If i have not told them about the hitch matrix they would have not find the parts.Shermaine A.

My return time was 7:45 PM on Saturday. The location is only open until 7PM. Granted, I didn't return it until after 9PM but was charged a $20 "after hours service fee" which tbh, seems greedy on U-haul's part. As long as it was returned before the location opened the next morning should be fine - It's not like the equipment could be rented. Have been in this situation many times & before & never been charged. I'm a pretty regular U-Haul customer & try to use this location because it's closer to home. Had a different issue at this location a few years ago as well & the manager took care of it. Going to call today & hopefully the charge will be credited.Daniel R.

Make sure the oil cap is on the truck tight enough. So the customer don't have to waste time to go back to Uhaul and get it fixed. Like I had to do. Wish I received a credit for the days I did not use for the Month of September since I moved out of my unit Sept 18th. There was mice droppings in my unit when I move in August. Only complaint was that we signed up for automatic credit card payment when we first rented the unit and it was not deducted. So we incurred a late fee and had to sign-up again. The employees were very very polite and nice however their system of how they order parts and store them were very terrible. I ordered a trailer hitch approximately seven weeks ago and up to almost the day of install I was told it was not available to take a alternate install day however I had been there two weeks prior and stopped and then asked to make sure everything was still on track. The company needs to get their system in a more professional adequate updated system.Jim H.

There was mouse droppings in our unit when we were moving in. We called customer service and there was nothing they could do since the office was closed. We also called the manager using the after hours phone number that was posted and no response. We will be reaching out again during the office hours to resolve. We have used this facility 2x but the last time we found mouse drooping and some parts of mattress inards and we didnt have any mattresses in the unit. I've rented a 10x15 unit. Everything is great--except that location's storage unit assignment process. As you likely know, a 10x15 is actually and 5x10 combined with a 10x10 unit. I would like to have units as close to the elevator as possible. Alas, Uhauls "policy" is that they have to be right next to each other. Hence, I've been assigned two units as far from the elevator as possible. It's a lot of extra effort to get my furniture items to/from the units.Stefan K. | First Impressions

Only complaint, is only one elevator for the back facility. While it is centrally located, my unit was at the far end and it was quite a walk. Not an issue unless moving in a full truck of stuff. Also, make sure to go one size up from what you think you will need. My original selection was WAY too small. The first employee that helped me had no idea what she was doing. It was packed. I spent almost 3 hours at the facility, but system went down & phones went out, so it wasn't their fault. The girl asked for assistance numerous times from other employees. They gave me a unit and someone else walked me down to the unit & unlocked it. However the girl didn't give me a lock. I had to walk back up to the office which was a long walk. Someone else helped me this time and was much more knowledgeable. Walked back down to the unit and locked it. Then went back in and stood in a very long line again until I was finally checked in & did all the paperwork. Luckily I got someone else this time. Perhaps the first girl was new. Maybe you should have them well trained prior to checking people in. Everyone was very pleasant though, even when things were very busy. Check in was slow and the alarm went off when I accessed my unit because my code hadn't been activated. It's reasonable to assume that when people rent a storage unit, they are going to put stuff in it right away, and will not enjoy hearing a loud alarm when they do so. Additionally, it's absurd that I need to provide two contact people's information for my storage facility that only I will ever access. Being told "this is our policy" rather than the reason for the policy is not acceptable. Explain the reason behind your policy to your employees so that they can give a better answer when asked why -- or scrap a policy that makes no sense.Katherine W. | First Impressions
