It's a good thing I'm not rating the first drop off location I was sent to. Not only was it 20 miles away but it was probably in one of the worst part of town of Miami. Not a good experience at all! I spent more time trying to return the U-Haul then I did loading and unloading the 20 foot U-Haul.

GERARDO G.Everything was good. However, I was overcharged for the gas amount. I returned the truck and my total trip mileage was less than 4 miles. I have been charged over 11$ for gas. In the contract, it is stated that I would pay 4.25$ per gallon. Not 11$ per gallon.

Then we still had to go inside to get the key and there were three people in line ahead of us to see the one clerk. I told her I registered already, she just said okay and we waited. We go the key, but our truck was blocked by another truck, so we had to wait for someone to move it. Not efficient and I would not rent from this location again..

I had tried 2 locations, but there was no visible drop off so I dropped it off at this location anyway. Honestly, uhaul killed me with all the running around. Way too inconvenient. I really hope never to use your company again.

EDGAR C.The manager and the 2 Latin girls at the front desk provide horrific customer service. How can they even be allowed to work there. When you ask for a specific equipment, they blow you off and laugh at you. They don't even look for it but make you walk out and look yourself. They also chit chat for hours before actually paying attention to the client. The waiting lines are completely retarded. You must be prepared to at least waist 30 min of your morning to just get your vehicle, yet alone the return which is worst or as bad. Unfortunately it's the closest location to me and no other real option to get to another U-Haul. Please those women at the front desk need to be completely changed.

JOHN G.I rented the 15' truck to move from Miami to South Carolina and the air conditioning didn't work and it was very hot to Drive for 9 hours without air conditioning. I paid around $1500.00 for the UHALL TRUCK and I don't feel right I PAID THAT AMOUNT AND NOT HAVE AC!!! This is very upsetting!!

My card was then charged twice and I was given the run around on why it happened. Only positive experience was dropping off the van the young man that helped us was pleasant to deal with.
SHAQUILAH B.The plastic over vehicle gouges was so clouded from age I couldn't safely see the controls. Could barely see gas gage and therefore though I put back what I used. Was very angry to be charged a 30 fee on top of the added $15 fpr gas. Will not use uhaul any more. The clerk told me about paying $4 per gallon but said nothing about the $30 fee.

I gave them a “Below Average” because the workers are nice but they could never problem solve. The elevator is always broken, not just this year when they upgraded. What’s the point of a storage facility where you can’t get to your stuff? The last approximately 5 months I’ve had to walk up 5 flights of freight stairs and walk through dark hallways where often times I’m encountering vagrants. At one point a couple years ago the elevator was broken I asked that an employee escort me stairs because yet again the elevator was broken and they refused due to their own safety too. Nice staff but awful facility.

I need it to get my belongings on the seventh floor I had to use the stairs and was not able to move because the elevator was not working Few months ago I put a claim for items that were stollen and when I asked to see the film to see what happened I was told there was no security film. I consider this to be a major problem due to the fact that if anything happens to anyone there is no security cameras according to the office. I lost over $2500. worth of items including my diving equipment, coats, cloth..... and have no way to prove it.

Couldnt get my furniture out plus, I couldnt put the new stuff in this storage. Wasted a lot of time of the movers who charge hourly and had go to a new storage. They had to come back yesterday to get the resf of what I have in the storage get it down by the stairs with several movers in order to put everything on the same storage. I have been calling, texting, leaving messages and havent been able to talk to Hector the manager. I left my number, email and no reply. This issue cost me a lot of money which I need uhaul to reimburse.

Marc Z. | First ImpressionsI had a terrible experience with this facility. I got stuck in the elevator for 30 mins with half of my things. Finally we got out, but my things stayed at the elevator for 5 days, until they fix it. I had to leave the rest of my things in the moving truck and hire new people for the unloading when elevator was fixed. I reserved my storage on the 7th floor, without letting me know that was burned a year ago and you still can breath the smoke in the floor. I needed to use a face mask every time I visit the storage. The unit was full of roaches, when I move out of the unit, it was infected of dead roaches. The place is disgusting, hot (not air conditioning) and dangerous due to the smoke. They I only stayed 2 months, and never got any discount or consideration after all I went through. It was the worst storage experience I ever had. The storage closes at 7pm, but there are access through the outside stairs leading to the floors, where homeless people come to stay for the night. Very dangerous. I don´t recommend this location to anybody. It was a nightmare for me dealing with the elevator, that breaks all the time according to people going there.

It appears to have a mouse problem and I worry that our mattress will be attacked by mice. Also there are homeless people wandering in and using the elevators to hang out in the upper storage floors They carry food which attracts mice. .
