The staff at this store are always extremely helpful, efficient, professional and friendly. Over the past year, have needed moving trucks etc many times and prefer this location over any others in Tucson. They made our moving experiences better. Thank you.

I rented a cargo van and it only had a quarter tank of gas. That makes it very difficult to estimate how much gas to refill, despite the little calculator on the rental paperwork. The tank should start out filled on any rental, then refilling upon return is easy and accurate.

The staff at this location is running a scam regarding the gas tank and how full it is when rented by making marks on fuel gage to hide the true level at time of rental. I drove 30 miles and to fill it to the level that was recorded at time of rental took $80, which would mean I used approximately 17 gallons of gas and got 1.7 miles/gallon.

We drove a total of 10 miles and put over 7 gallons of gas in the truck. What should have taken one gallon to fill to full took 7. The general manager would not credit us with six gallons of fuel.

Besides the mileage being mistyped initially on day of rental , I went in the next day to talk about it and Tyrone took care of it with his manager. On a side note… A Lot of people from off the street coming in and taking up business time trying to get a free rental that they never really reserved. I think corporate needs to listen more to their employees when these things are happening and the customer isn’t always right when it comes to the off the street customers, that really have not a dime to their name, just trying to get something for free.!!!!!!!! it was very disgusting on how these vagrant took up all the real customers time and I had to literally wait for someone to get done to conduct business for 20 mins while these people tried to double and triple talk the employees.

When I picked up the tow dolly, there was nobody inside the building to help me. I waited for about 15 minutes and while I waited a line of people few behind me to about 5 more customers. During the 15 minutes, I looked outside a few times for someone, without success. I called the phone number twice and after the prompts, I could hear the office phone ring, but nobody picked it up. When a person finally came inside, he was dismissive, saying they are busy and were outside. Why would U-Haul not have at least one person inside to handle customers??? When I returned the equipment, a person helped me right away and quickly disconnected the tow dolly and got me on my way, so that part was good. I have rented from this location two times recently and both times were poor when trying to get the equipment, because having to wait longer than necessary.

Representative was courteous and professional. Easy pick-up. Upon return, I followed the directions on the sign... stayed with the U-Haul vehicle awaiting processing. No one came. After 10 min, I went in, and was promptly helped. The web site was poor; it is designed for U-Haul's benefit, not mine. It took a LONG time to navigate, and lots of options to reject that are only there as profit centers. Then, the reservation pages were down for most of the day, causing me to check back every hour for about 6 hours. YUCK! Same with the call center. You force me to listen to a long list of things I'm not interested in, only to find the operator's reservation system was also down. No manual system to back up the computers when they're down. Finally, picking a U-Haul location was problematic... I couldn't display the various locations on a map, and had to go to mapquest... then thought I had the right one, and it turned out wrong. Your IT needs some serious work.

I drove the van a total of eight miles. I put a gallon of gas in the van at the Chevron station that is literally next door to the U-Haul. They charged me $11.25 for two gallons of gas. The gas gauges in the vehicles are not calibrated and unreliable, and it's ridiculous to think that the van used two gallons to go eight miles.

I rented a 26 ft u haul truck and the guy at the location was not professional he had his children running all over the place in unsafe conditions.The truck had the check engine light on and was not running properly and there was no gas in the vehicle and the back was dirty

Poor customer service, extremely unprofessional. Clerk at checkout was impressively unprofessional. After greeting me to the counter he decided to put a handful of sunflower seeds in his mouth and talk with his mouth full. Shortly through the transaction he initiates a personal call and made it seem like I was an inconvenience to him along with the other customers in line. After finishing the transaction he goes to pull around the truck for me (while still on his personal call), only to realize the truck he assigned me was parked behind other trucks and inaccessible. We then go back inside to assign a different truck, go back outside only to have to repeat the process once more. This time instead of pulling the truck around, I grab the keys from him because he was taking his sweet time on his phone call still too distracted to even bring the truck to the front. Upon return this morning, I made the Dropoff 15 min before business hours opened. While I was waiting for my ride an employee was starting to begin his pre work to open up the store and take in the overnight drop offs. During that time, an elderly woman pulled in inquiring if that location does propane refills - only to be told by the employee that they open at 9am and that he would not be answering any questions until then. Shocked by what she heard, she reiterated that she just wanted to know if they did propane refills so she knew if she should wait around or not to which again the employee stated he knew what she was asking but that he refused to answer any questions prior to 9am. This was a sad sight to see as it seems common decency was an inconvenience to at least the two of the employees at this store. I will be sharing this on google reviews as well.

I rented the truck and drove it 13 miles, and refilled it with 1.5 gallons before dropping it off. This location charged me another $9 for gas and an extra amount for 15 miles, which I never drove. They are scammers and rob people. I have all the pictures, evidence, and receipts.

My unit is upstairs...I wasn't told this at sign in. Also, my movers weren't told about the 5pm look out and had to move household items through a very inconvenient side door...through a maze of units, THEN upstairs. No elevator is most inconvenient!!!

I had my stuff in the facility for 10 years and paid on auto pay when my money was running out I went there and asked if I could get a month or 2 free so I could get my financial issue straighten out and I was told by the person working that they could not do anything and I would have to come back and speak with the manager. I said I would and I came back 4 times and finally got a hold of him and he said he couldn't help me out. So after paying my unit on time for 10 + years I couldn't get 1 to 2 months to help me out. I'm 65 and retired and disabled ( amputee since 2022) and only get so much now and it doesn't cover much. I was so disappointed in your company and had to give up my unit since I wasn't able to pay for it anymore. When I booked the unit I was not told it was a two story facility with stairs only. I was told it was temp controlled. I have had a hip replacement and have balance problems, and my unit was on the second floor. This was difficult for me. The temperature inside was 90 degrees when I was unloading and the small air conditioners were not working. However, one of the staff helped the young man who was helping me to get the two largest pieces upstairs and into the unit which was much appreciated When I returned to unload the AC was working, including the smaller ones, so that was better. Staff were overall helpful and friendly. So in spite of the difficulties from the first day it balanced out to be an average experience.

“Secure and well lit.” It was secure as long as people didn’t hold the entrance door open. There are no lights in the spaces so a flashlight or other is necessary. The concrete ceiling and walls in the space kept cracking, leaving dust and small rocks on my belongings. I had to sweep up that mess every time I visited the space. There is a big thermometer on the wall by my space that said “temperature maintained within this range,” with the maximum temperature being 85°F. But in the summer it was common for that thermometer to read over 90°F. The junky little mini-split at the end of the second-floor corridor didn’t do anything. And since the doors for each space are usually closed and there are no vents or returns in the space, it is impossible to actually control the temperature in each space. So the whole notion that the space is temperature controlled is a lie. There is no elevator, so all of the carts are useless. Terribly inconvenient too, as there is no way to load up a cart, lock the space once, then take the belongings outside to load into a car or truck. The price increased every year, without justification and without any benefits to the customer. This is just plain greed. Your costs didn’t increase.

When we arrived I discovered our unit was on the 2nd floor and there were no elevators / this would have been a problem as it was just my wife and I and we had some heavy items - They found another unit on first floor and quickly got it ready for us and I got on site help from U-Haul (Tyrone) to help load - this was greatly appreciated after a long 3 day drive from Chicago area.

The property was not available for us the day we rented it. The code we were given did not work and because it was after hours we needed to go in the following day and get inside. This completely messed up our timeline not being able to access the storage unit the evening we expected to. Overall impression of the employees and manager at this location is that they don’t really care about the customer.

The staff was great. The space was clean. I’m glad I chose to rent from this storage facility. My only issue is that it doesn’t have an elevator for 2nd floor access. Keep that in mind when your thinking about the items your storing. In this businesses defense, that isn’t listed on the website. I should’ve called and asked prior to renting the unit.

With the exception of the uhaul on Rt 95 when he rented me a 10 ft truck knowing I had a motorcycle. No ramp. Also the uhaul person on speedway wouldn’t let me throw away a bed it didn’t fit storage.
