Daniel DPoor customer service, extremely unprofessional. Clerk at checkout was impressively unprofessional. After greeting me to the counter he decided to put a handful of sunflower seeds in his mouth and talk with his mouth full. Shortly through the transaction he initiates a personal call and made it seem like I was an inconvenience to him along with the other customers in line. After finishing the transaction he goes to pull around the truck for me (while still on his personal call), only to realize the truck he assigned me was parked behind other trucks and inaccessible. We then go back inside to assign a different truck, go back outside only to have to repeat the process once more. This time instead of pulling the truck around, I grab the keys from him because he was taking his sweet time on his phone call still too distracted to even bring the truck to the front. Upon return this morning, I made the Dropoff 15 min before business hours opened. While I was waiting for my ride an employee was starting to begin his pre work to open up the store and take in the overnight drop offs. During that time, an elderly woman pulled in inquiring if that location does propane refills - only to be told by the employee that they open at 9am and that he would not be answering any questions until then. Shocked by what she heard, she reiterated that she just wanted to know if they did propane refills so she knew if she should wait around or not to which again the employee stated he knew what she was asking but that he refused to answer any questions prior to 9am. This was a sad sight to see as it seems common decency was an inconvenience to at least the two of the employees at this store. I will be sharing this on google reviews as well.

Thomas QOnly thing I would recommend is to ensure there is the applicable material as requested by customer. I requested an appliance dolly and was charged for it but the uhaul did not come with it.

Alan NI rented the truck and drove it 13 miles, and refilled it with 1.5 gallons before dropping it off. This location charged me another $9 for gas and an extra amount for 15 miles, which I never drove. They are scammers and rob people. I have all the pictures, evidence, and receipts.

Not one part of the experience was smooth and basically left up to me to handle all of it. An event that should take should've take 15 minutes ruined 3/4 of my day when I was trying to move

JAY OSlow service in general no one to be found other than the young man in morning was nice and accommodating but upon return the staff member Roy was beyond rude. I would never recommend or use service again from this location.
Joshua BEquipment was fine. However the staff is incredibly lazy. As a Uhaul employee you don’t force every customer to check themselves in the last hour the store is open. You check it in. The reps are rude and some of the laziest I’ve ever seen. Which it doesn’t surprise me after everything I’ve heard about this location.
Jameson WI specifically ordered a utility dolly with my truck. After I got the key I opened the truck to find no dolly. The girl working there said they don't have a dolly, never have any dollies and have never offered them. I told her I had a storage unit full of furniture and needed a dolly. Offering no assistance whatsoever she told me" I don't know what to tell you". I asked if she could find a dolly from another location (no). All she could do was cancel the order which she later did, but not before I had trouble renting a truck (and dolly) from another location because the system showed I picked up and still had the original truck. Finding another truck and picking it up took almost an hour extra. The woman who assisted me on the phone was kind enough to offer a small discount and quickly assisted with a truck from a real UHaul location Speedway near Craycroft for which I am extremely grateful.5533 E Speedway represents UHaul very poorly and I will recommend anyone to stay away from that location for any reason.

JOHN PFrom Tye, to Roy to customer service...stellar! Until, the bill arrived. I was told by the CSA that the $20 late fee would be waived due to circumstances and she was ever so helpful. The bill arrived showing the $20. late fee>. I'm going to ask that it be removed..toher than that it was. GREAT experience and super value!
PEGGY HWe did not receive the moving blankets that we were charged for even though in the app I did select "no" that the blankets were not present. Not sure why we were still charged. That is why I cannot give 5 stars.
Amber TInitially, I tried to log in on my phone to make the reservation, but it wasn't working. So I decided to call. In the past, I had had so many problems calling into UHaul to make a reservation that I was not looking forward to it. Even though I would call the local number, I would end up speaking to a national contact and the process was tedious. This time the call went right to our local Speedway store and they said they could rent us a pcik-up truck. The next day we went to pick up the truck, and the representative that helped us check in was great. The process was quick and simple. The rental went smoothly so we are very satisfied.

All I said to him was OK then I will use my regular bank card. He then looked at me and says into you, could calm down I’m walking away as he left me standing by myself at the counter and he walked outside and he did not help me anymore I asked other gentleman if you could help me because I did not want to deal with him. I don’t know what his problem was and he helped me he checked me out when I made the reservation. I asked for an appliance do. when I made the reservation. I asked for an appliance dolly. They advised me they did not have any Roy C if I could give him a zero star rated, I would. There was no need for him to leave me standing by myself at the counter when all I said to him was, I’ll use my other bank card and I hope to God you guys have video and audio civilian of this because that was 100% uncalled for I would never rent a U-Haul from this location again please follow up with me with a phone call. Neil S | First ImpressionsI had my stuff in the facility for 10 years and paid on auto pay when my money was running out I went there and asked if I could get a month or 2 free so I could get my financial issue straighten out and I was told by the person working that they could not do anything and I would have to come back and speak with the manager. I said I would and I came back 4 times and finally got a hold of him and he said he couldn't help me out. So after paying my unit on time for 10 + years I couldn't get 1 to 2 months to help me out. I'm 65 and retired and disabled ( amputee since 2022) and only get so much now and it doesn't cover much. I was so disappointed in your company and had to give up my unit since I wasn't able to pay for it anymore. Roy C | Overall ExperienceWhen I booked the unit I was not told it was a two story facility with stairs only. I was told it was temp controlled. I have had a hip replacement and have balance problems, and my unit was on the second floor. This was difficult for me. The temperature inside was 90 degrees when I was unloading and the small air conditioners were not working. However, one of the staff helped the young man who was helping me to get the two largest pieces upstairs and into the unit which was much appreciated When I returned to unload the AC was working, including the smaller ones, so that was better. Staff were overall helpful and friendly. So in spite of the difficulties from the first day it balanced out to be an average experience.

JEFFERY S | First Impressions“Secure and well lit.” It was secure as long as people didn’t hold the entrance door open. There are no lights in the spaces so a flashlight or other is necessary. The concrete ceiling and walls in the space kept cracking, leaving dust and small rocks on my belongings. I had to sweep up that mess every time I visited the space. There is a big thermometer on the wall by my space that said “temperature maintained within this range,” with the maximum temperature being 85°F. But in the summer it was common for that thermometer to read over 90°F. The junky little mini-split at the end of the second-floor corridor didn’t do anything. And since the doors for each space are usually closed and there are no vents or returns in the space, it is impossible to actually control the temperature in each space. So the whole notion that the space is temperature controlled is a lie. There is no elevator, so all of the carts are useless. Terribly inconvenient too, as there is no way to load up a cart, lock the space once, then take the belongings outside to load into a car or truck. The price increased every year, without justification and without any benefits to the customer. This is just plain greed. Your costs didn’t increase.
