Have correct measurements the beds of the trucks my one specific detail was that I needed a bed that was at least 13 ft long it was only 12 and a half where you guys get your 15 must be the top part of the truck that you guys are including as the overall length truck wasn't really suitable for the application I was doing

I voiced my concerns upon returning the vehicle. Maria was excellent. She listened. She apologized. She even refunded some money for the inconvenience. My issues were with arrival and pick up. I do not appreciate having to wait until 7:10 for your employee to show up for work. Much less him taking his time once he arrived, a long good bye kiss before the girlfriend drives off, etc. And when I greet someone with “Good morning!” I expect it back, not just silence. His attitude beyond that was satisfactory but he certainly didn't set a very good first impression. The truck was a quart low on the motor oil. I mentioned it and he topped it off. Again, not something your customers should need to be concerned with. The outside glass on the cab and mirrors wee not clean. Inside was fine. I like to see when I'm driving, especially a vehicle I'm not familiar with yet. Minor complaints and overall it was satisfactory experience but you need folks like Maria opening your store.

Simply being in the middle of a pandemic where cleanliness is important, the vehicle should've been wiped down and the back space could've been swept and mopped or at least disinfected. The lady I dealt with was really nice, but no mask 😷

Had to wait a few minutes as they were busy, but this is of course understandable. The associate I dealt with was attentive and cordial. Also very happy with my experience at this location.

The girl who waited on me in the store was friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to answer any of the questions I had. There was a small problem with accessing the inside unit but she stayed very patient and resolved the issue with a smile

The Gas level in vehicle wasnt accurate. It was at a quarter of a tank. When I was told that it was full. And it wasnt full. For a 20 mile round trip I paid $ 45.00 of gas. Ridiculous!!

Sorry, however other past locations that I have tried have been so terrible that I almost didn't even bother with U-Haul ever again, however I was desperate. Low and behold this location was EXCELLENT. Easy from start to finish. Helpful throughout the process. Clean, quick and friendly. So yeah, will definitely come back to this location!

The staff at this location was very helpful. There was one issue with the truck. The warning light kept reading Passenger Door Open. It was slightly alarming but we made sure to hold that door while driving, just in case.

The people at the Hartford location were awesome. I am filling this our because from the start (online people) to the finish, people on both locations were fantastic. The mobile check-in process completely did not work at all because of the location services even though I kept giving uhaul.com access. It's the only instance I've ever had trouble sharing my location. I had to go inside instead to resolve my sign in

Hire people who know how to listen and communicate effectively! I specifically told Ashley that I didn't want the insurance but she still added to my contract. She also put down truck had a full tank when it was indeed 1/2 a tank (thank God I took a photo b4 leaving u-haul location). Also, when I asked her to confirm time of my rental return time she had it wrong so she had to edit contract since it wasn't available until 12:30pm opposed to original rental time of 11am. The heavy blonde spanish woman was very rude, and refused to remove the incorrect insurance charge. If I would have known how bad they were going to screw up the contract I would have definitely read through the contract through its entirety. This was one of my worst experiences ever renting a truck with u-haul, and I've been a customer for over 20 years!!!!!

If a renter doesn't get the size truck they requested and they receive a smaller truck, ask them if they still need as many blankets.

The manager was not wearing a mask and was sneezing and coughing like it was a joke. Another associate was kind enough (and wearing a mask) to come out from behind and wipe down the credit card machine and pen, but the pen I had to use to sign the papers was handled by the coughing individual and not sanitized at all. I have used this location a few times for convenience but this was the first time I had this sort of negative experience. Can't say I will use this location again if COVID safety for customers is not taken seriously by all staff there.

My first place of pick up was in Bloomfield. Incorrect code to the lock box. This place had the trucks covered in snow and ice, poorly organized, we were just sitting there for 30 minutes in the car trying to warm it up. No scraper provided. Not just this location but UHaul in general is a poorly run company. Not worth it.

The Hartford CT, Brainard Rd location had excellent customer service, however I would NEVER recommend UHaul to anyone ever because of the online and telephone reservation process. The lack of definitive information and misinformation and omitted information caused our move to be a stressful disaster. Only the woman at the Hartford location was able to help us in a small way with big effort. UHaul is just short of a scam.

Total time from pick up to delivery was 22 days. Unacceptable!! That was not explained to me until after the box was picked up. I feel like I was ripped off and I will never rent from uhaul again. Corporate never returned my calls either.

I believe the vichle interior wasn't so clean and with some bad odor, also the font desk agent was not to friendly no customer service experince at all. I was standing in from of him not even a good Morning didn't proved me with any information about what changed far as checking the truck nothing.

The first bill they presented upon was return was $174! Telling us we went over the hundred miles. We said no way. We went from there to Cromwell Newington Rocky Hill and back. They went and rechecked and came back with this bill. A far cry from the first one. What would have happened if I was one of those people to just sign? Kim Peltzer

Rested a trailer with burnt lights. Got pulled over for hours and then had to pay extra because of employees negligence. Was also called to be asked to pick up my reservation 30 minutes later because of an overbooking. Poor service.

I am very much upset for UHAUL experience this time, We booked truck and it was not starting, at location we got another one, after returning they charged extra for Dolly which we had taken 2 dolly but they charged for 3 dolly priced, i asked for refund the representative was very dumb and was confusing and was talking useless, I will never book uhaul in future until i get my refund and compensation of my time wasting.

The service in the U-Haul store in Manchester was disappointing. Paying in cash was always a problem because the "cash drawer was locked". And, although you advertise to buy more boxes than you think you need because you can return them if un-used, the return process took over an hour due to problems on your side.

I rented a cargo van and the mat in the cargo area was saturated with gasoline or oil. When I realized this the office was already closed, so we had to drive 200 miles roundtrip with both the driver side and passenger side windows down because of the fumes. When I returned the van, the GM was not willing to make an adjustment because I had used the van, even though the office was already closed when I tried to call about this issue and we had to leave that same night.

When we wanted to pick them up we called ahead were told to come the next day. We went, prepared to tow them and they weren't ready. Pretty bad since we drove an hour and paid a bunch of tolls and then had to turn around empty and drive another hour and pay more tolls. Ended up having UHaul deliver them so I didn't have to tow through a city on a work day. Really bad UHaul!

The staff did not give me a map to facilty. My storage unit was difficult to find. Had to call for assistance. a staff member came to help, and he had difficulty finding it, but eventually we did. I would recomend that the map have the unit highlighted, with a highlighted route on the map to make the unit easy to find. thank you

I needed a few more hours of rental and there was no “grace period” offered at all. Even with a car rental through Enterprise they would give me the hour or two. Had to pay for a full day so I just kept it until I felt like driving to Hartford to drop it off - it was due at 11 am and I asked for for 1 or 2 pm - full day

It was my fifth time going to the U-Haul please just because when I rented my storage my Jeske wouldn’t fit since The storage is so high from the ground! They need to really consider putting at least a ramp on all the storages outside I had to cancel more than four times
