I needed a few more hours of rental and there was no “grace period†offered at all. Even with a car rental through Enterprise they would give me the hour or two. Had to pay for a full day so I just kept it until I felt like driving to Hartford to drop it off - it was due at 11 am and I asked for for 1 or 2 pm - full day

Nothing. Great experience.
I really enjoyed this location and staff. I must say I tried doing the self check in online and found it took too long and wasn't as easy as the website maked it sound.
If someone is there early to pick up a car have a manager already in site. I had to wait 15 minutes for the manager to come to get checked in.
Best location in area
Triick was new. Made for a smooth ride. Staff was courteous. Great experience.
very nice & friendly staff
The process was easy
Truck was very old.
I walked in and in 15 minutes I had a truck. It ran well and made it all the way . I was pleased.
Staff were very helpful, even helped me when I returned a little after 7PM closing. Great people
Had a 15ft box and car trailer rented, took the box and returned 3 days later for trailer .Loaded the car and checked things over, and found no turn signals working.Tryed another trailer same issue, problem was with the truck. The mechanic that was there came out and got thinks taken care of.Things happen, but all of this truck and trailer should of been looked over and all operational before we showed up to pick up vehicles
Every team member that I worked with at this location was very nice, helpful, and made the experience great. Thank you!
Everything was grear!
I definitely had a less than favorable experience. This is the first time I've rented a trailer through U-Haul myself. My father has rented a few times from this place and those times have went well. However, this time was a bit different. I arrived waited in line and checked in. Then I went with the rep out to the trailer. She hooked it up and said I was all set. Before I left the parking lot I realized she never hooked up the lights. So I pulled over went back in to ask about this. She then went to get the needed cable which wasn't on the trailer. She got the lights all hooked up, and said I was all set to go. I asked then if I should test them first. She said yes and tested and I was off to pick up the vehicle I would be towing. Between an hour and and hour and a half later I get a call from this U-Haul place. They say we gave you the wrong trailer, that one was reserved for a one-way They say we gave you the wrong trailer, that one was reserved for a one-way and we were supposed to give you the in town one. Then they asked if I could come back and switch them. Ummm no, I'm about 50mi away at this point and said that I would not really be able to do that. They said they would figure it out on their end. Ok fine. Loading, transport and unloading of the car went well. When I went to return the trailer, I pulled into the return lane, and waited in my car as posted on the signs. I waited for about 10 minutes and no one came over. So I got out and went in.When I went to return the trailer, I pulled into the return lane, and waited in my car as posted on the signs. I waited for about 10 minutes and no one came over. So I got out and went in To see if I could find someone. The same rep came out and instructed me to park the trailer back where I picked it up from. We went over and I am backing it is slowly. Was a little tricky to get it parked between two other trailers, especially with no help from the rep who was on her phone the whole time. Was a little tricky to get it parked between two other trailers, especially with no help from the rep who was on her phone the whole time. They unhooked the trailer and I was off. I like U-Haul, but this was certainly not One of the better experiences I've had renting trailers. The equipment was in OK shape, and did it's job well. However I'm not sure if I will be returning to this particular location.
Maria was patient and knowledgeable and made the situation a little more relaxed.
Maintain the quipment better. It took 3 car dollies before we got one that the lights worked. Later on we found out that the pin that holds the car ramp was broken and not working.
Is the second truck I rent this week .. everything was good nothing wrong with the charged this time.
I really appreciate Manuel Rodriguez going above and beyond to help me resolve the challenges I had with the trailer. He demonstrated concern for the customer and concern for the interest of the company. I was very impressed!!
The only thing I didn"t think was right is that i rented a 10' truck to move my son to school and had to pay for two days when i only need the truck for one. We drove it from Connecticut to Syracuse NY and turned it in there (Syracuse). So i had to pay for a whole day I didn"t need or use. When I questioned it I got no clear answer but that's how its done oneway I felt it was not right.
Promptness, knowledge of products, shorter wait time
Check in was difficult since I needed to “share my location†which I could not figure out how to do. You all really need an alternate method, it was impossible to proceed to the next step in the check in process without changing settings on my phone which is undesirable.
Equipment availability seems confusing. When
My reservation was for 930 am. I showed up at 915 am and was told my truck wasn't there and my reservation had been changed to 330 pm. I never received any communication stating there was an issue with the truck availability in the over week since it had been reserved. While the person at the counter was very friendly and managed to get me a *smaller* truck (for a shorter period of time than I needed) this is a completely inappropriate practice. The smaller truck did not meet my needs and as a result I was forced to make three additional 2 hour trips with my personal vehicle. This has been a tremendous waste of my time and money. You shouldn't use a reservation system if you can't actually provide the vehicle to the customer.
