The new facility on Harrison Bridge is awesome and Bradley is organized and extremely helpful. It has great access for the larger trucks. I was very impressed. We were in an out in half the time we used to endure. The paperwork was also efficient. A+William K.

I reserved a 15 foot truck at 1pm on Sunday, never got it. Something happened with the pick up site Uhaul was unaware of. Lady told me what I owned would fit in a cargo van, I ended up having to make double trips. I told her I had a queen bed, a dresser and two TVS and she said yes it would fit. She was very nice but I was sold a vehicle with less capacity than I needed which isn't very good for the customer. Cost US more money. After the trouble of not getting the truck I needed at the time I reserved, it hurt my moving time and I called and made a complaint about this and have yet to hear back from anyone. It was already raining on my moving day and the last thing I needed was to get a truck too small. The 15 foot I reserved would have been perfect and cost me way less money. $120 for what was supposed to be less than a 40 mile trip turned into over 80 miles because of this. I'm very upsetJERI H.

Uhaul truck had horrible brakes. This truck was a accident waiting to happen the lights didn't work the lock wouldn't lock. The ramp kept falling off the latch. Worse experience I've ever had with renting a uhaul and the guy working today was extremely rude when I turned it back in I tried to express my concern and he just seemed like he didn't care and like it was my fault.YEIMI M.

I had to go to two other locations before I found this one. I never got my $50 reservation guarantee credit. Overall the place was great and once I got everything was great. However, wasting my time for 2 hours and not getting the â€œguaranteeâ€ that was even promised to me on the phone by customer support is highly disappointing.YVONNE T.

One male area manager called me and said I did not return the trailer. Not only did I but a very nice female area manager helped me & checked me in. Turns out it was right in front of him the whole time he just failed to check the yard. Sometimes you need to go outside and look around. Not just trust a computer screen. He then gets rude. Here's a tip for you kid. You're not really a manager. They just give you that title so you feel important.Edward F.

I actually had a string of bad luck which caused me to be a terrible customer, so I'm sure they're review of me would be a 2 also. The whole experience as far as uhaul the company and the truck quality was great, until the end. I specifically told them not to charge the card they had for multiple reasons, they told me I had to go in and pay anyways, then I for notified that my card was charged $495. This caused a lot of unwanted b.s. in my life and has royally screwed me. I asked for it to be reversed and I'd pay with a different card, they didn't reply to that at all. So the whole charge will be disputed as an unauthorized charge. Because it was. I will pay with a separate card once my refund is received and I will not be paying any of that fee's that were added to the account at this point. Thanks in advance.Travis P.

I asked "could I keep the trailer 1 more day at no charge?" the guy laughed and said "absolutely not, that's unheard of, we never do anything like that" - quite unprofessional and inaccurate actually, not a great representation of the Uhaul brand.Grant E.

My original pick up time was requested for 10:00. Pick up location called day before and quoted me a 12:00 pick up time. I questioned why it was changed from 10:00 to 12:00 and he told me that a truck would not be available until 12:00 and also they did not have any appliance dollies as requested. I had hired helo loading from 11:00 to 1:00, they had another job at 2 so could not work later. He stated that if a truck cane in sooner he would call. I showed up at 11:15. truck was sitting there and while waiting mentioned the dolly standing there but I had bought one. He handed my my paper work at 11:30 and said it was due by 11:00 on Thursday, I mention that it was 11:30 and he said they went by original pick up time. I told him I requested 10:00 they called and changed it to 12:00 and now he is telling me it was 11:00. There was damage to the truck which my paper work did not indicate. He showed me how to dispute and take pictures. The damage should have been documented by the company. Because of the changed by U-Haul for my pick up time I did not have enough help to load some of the heavier items and could not take them. Now I am going to have to make arrangements to have the rest of these items transported another way and additional expense.Thomas E.

there was NO HEAT SHIELD BETWEEN THE ENGINE BLOCK AND THE CAB!!! AND there was an area open where the heat from the engine block came straight back on my right ankle... didn't have far to drive - THANK GOD!! but still left my ankle red and burning for the rest of the evening...loaded it down in aloe just in case...Loretta M.
I was told the night before that I would need to drive 2 hours away in order to get my Uhaul from a completely different state. To say this was an inconvenience would be the understatement of the century. Between that, the lack of any ability to get a hold of customer assistance and the women who hung up on me when I called to speak about fixing the situationâ€¦ I won't be utilizing U-Haul in the future and will advise anyone I know to avoid this company as well. I've had no issues in the past but this is really beyond redemption.MICHAEL O.

I actually won't recommend U-Haul to anybody no matter what location. The people we dealt with were all very nice but I had reserved a trailer and Appliance Dolly online as we were moving appliances (or we wouldn't have needed a trailer). The location didn't have a KO so he quickly called support who told me to go to Loma St. in Simpsonville. When I got there their system was down and he said they didn't have one anyway. So went back to original location who called another support who said to go to Yogi Foods in Mauldin. Yogi didn't have a dolly either and told me to go to Grove Rd. in Greenville as it was a larger hub. Fortunately they had one and we rented a dolly with a one-way destination that I had to return to Yogi instead of my original location as they were too new and didn't show up in the system? Grove Rd. location is far from our original location and Yogi is closer so she suggested a one-way to save time and miles. We picked up the trailer at 9:00 but it was about 11:30 by the time we drove to all 4 locations to get the dolly. Again, all of the people who helped us were very nice but U-Haul needs to have a better way of tracking accessories. Made a long day of moving even longer.Jonathan E.
