Totally a messed up experience! Already filed a complaint!
Truck was clearly not even wiped down so considering it's a pandemic that was not very pleasant. Also, very misleading as you advertise $19.95 on your trucks and charged my card $160.00 to bring one load from Hyde Park to Taunton and back to Hyde park. I even asked if I could drop off a closer location and they simply said “it would cost a lot more moneyâ€. I don't see how you could possible charge more than that.
A majority of the time I am inconvenience by trucks in the way of the door. Makes it hard to maneuver Items to be stored and I find myself in line to get someone's attention to move a truck.
The tire was low , the key take forever to turn
VAN RENTED SMELLED LIKE WEED, WHERE I GOT A HEADACHE FROM HOW BAD IT SMELLED, AND THERE WAS EMPTY JUICE BOTTLES IN VAN, OBVIOUSLY THIS WAS NOT CLEANED OR VERIFIED FOR NEXT CUSTOMER TO USE...
Insure all the trucks are maintenance and service for customers safety
Have the drop box in an obvious location. And not charge up my credit card for the next day just because I'm late returning it. Ask questions 1st. Call. You know.
You can not be on the phone talking to your friends or family while you're taking care of the customers. Either you put your friends or family on hold or you tell the customers be patient a little bit. Please education is the key, the need to be educated, no business without customers.
One I am being charged still for no reason and o. Top of it no the van wasn't clean but that's nothing new. The manager is great it's just the quality that's not good
The manager of this store is always so helpful, friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable.
I have filed a complaint regarding the service RE iced at this location. I will probably never rent from this location or even Uhaul again.
The employee was very helpful. She helped us unload the car from the tow dolly. She was very patient and kind. Thank you once again.
The staff at this location are rude and lack customer service care. I've been to the location at least 3 times and the experience was consistently the same...awful!
The truck was locked with the back door unable to open, and the situation was reported as soon as it occurred. Roadside assistance was a joke, no picked up. Hyde Park U-haul told me it would have been considered just to turn around and charge for faulty equipment unfairly. Thus I do not recommend U-haul to anyone.
Snow had not been cleared, had to wait a long time in line, front desk rep didn't “return†truck that day and overcharged me, actively working with management to resolve

Low tire pressure when I got into the van. Also, there is no parking in the lot. I had to park in back of the gym.

I was charged for a dolly that wasn't in the truck,I called about it and I was told I wouldn't be charged for it once everything was completed and I still got charged!!!!!

Depending on the age profile you might want to give instruction about the vehicle.
The representative first tried to over charge me ($120) resulting in me having to contact customer service to get charges back to the reservation rate. Then he said he was too busy to hook up trailer to my vehicle and I would have to do it myself because he was the only one at the store. Trailer was dirty and had to be swept out before we used it. The entire process took 2 hours. Horrible Experience.
The outside of the vehicle appeared to clean but really could not tell ehem the inside was las cleaned or disinfected, therefore I came with my bleach wipe and can lysol and disinfected vehicle myself. In terms of price last night I spoke with one of your agents whow quoted me a price of $49.00 for your van. I asked her to Google the distance from the Uhaul garage to 2 Hancock st then back to you garage. she said something like 17 mi today I was ,charged over $80.00. Can some PLEASE explain the double price exchange ??
Actually check the truck before giving them out to customers. The 15' truck I was given had a broken speedometer, fuel gage and radio. It was old model truck with roll up windows and I could not adjust the side mirrors. The truck was very dirty inside. Will not come to this location again.

The manager was kind and helpful with great service! I always come to the Hyde Park locations on Saturday for excellent service by the Uhaul manager.
The customer service was amazing!! Though my truck only had a quarter tank of gas in it.
The charges from hyde park location to Worcester was too high they charge me a ( 55 miles ) almost $180 just a trip and leaving it at the Worcester uhaul location near by and you have to add Gas after dropping it In an addition you paid more $ 200 it sucks.
Short staff for heavy traffic. They do a good job but could use more help.

The truck did not have brakes The engine light was on. I felt unsafe in this truck Customer service was horrible. I brought the truck in earlier, expected to get reimbursed for bringing it earlier but the store worker refused to check out the truck said he had a lot ahead of me. Ask me to check out on line. Since I was not able to check out the truck at that time. I paid for more hours for the use of the truck.
Direction on where to park oversized trucks
I am more people with better customer service easier drop off is there a drop off returns etc.

I spent almost $100 on a uhaul van I had for a few hours. I was told it would be $40!
My reservation was for 9 o'clock and I was there exactly on time. The approval process took 18 minutes which Seems excessive since I had entered all of my information before I even arrived.
There was a slow leak in a front tire which was annoying. Also the pre-rental check did not have all damage marked on the photos so I lost 30 minutes having to indicate damage. It'd be good if the photos and damage indications were marked in advance.
The van had two service lights come on, within minutes of taking the keys (both airbag light and Stabilitrak light), and not everyone at the location was wearing a mask

Price was a bit high for a van. I think you guys charge too much for mileage and the customer has to put gas. Other than that great experience
Inconvienent to park and trucks parked improperly
the 10' van i rented had a problem turning the key. it took several minutes to start the van
No parking. Your app is confusing as all hell. After I took the vehicle I got a call that I didn't have a contract which somehow later resolved itself.
Truck was dirty
My reservation was changed last minute with no warning. I saw it on the app they told me to download morning of. Instead of my 24hr reservation at 6pm, they changed it to 11am to 5pm for one day. 24hrs to 6 hrs. And I had to pick it up 7hrs early or they were going to give my truck away. So bad. Ended up keeping it until 6pm the next day anyway like my original reservation was for. Told them I wasnt paying a late fee if that's what they were trying to pull. They didnt charge me for one so at least they saw their problem.
Friendly & helpful staff. Drop box was difficult to find, especially late at night.
Staff, the general manager was very unprofessional. He never seemed interested in helping customers. When I walked inside to check-in, the general manager didn't look up for a few minutes. When I told him that I am checking in, he didn't respond. Never wrote a bad review nor criticize anyone. This time I just had to because it was bad experience and never going back to that location.
Attendants were extremely helpful and much appreciated.
I couldnt find a parking blinker button on the U-haul and the Storage space in the back of the truck was dusty.
Truck did not come with additional equipment that I had reserved such as dolly, hand truck, and moving blankets. They did not have any 17' foot trucks, so had promised me the same cost for a 20' truck. When the final bill came, they charged the full 20' truck cost.
Could have Better service
Actually clean the trucks instead of telling the customer you did. Check for roaches before giving a customer the truck as well.
The rep I met on 8/22/20 was very courteous and professional. He did an excellent job
The tires were all over inflated at various pressures, the rear view mirror was missing, and there was no windshield washer fluid in it. This was one of the most terrifying vehicles I've driven in a long time.
Darren the manager was very professional and friendly. He handled every issue I may have had pertaining to my moving situation with with ease. I am recommending this Uhaul location to all my family and friends.

The unit reserved came with a free lock. There was not a lock on the unit and the sales representative stated that the unit did not come with a lock. Ultimately, after showing documentation that confirmed the unit came with a lock, I was provided a lock, but the representative presented that she was doing me a favor. Would have been nice not to go through that at all. But no big deal
The storage I had had a little opening thru the gate on the top and i mentioned to them and didnt fix but other than that it was okay .. thanks

Impossible to get through to someone, have to leave several messages with no return call. Lighting doesn't turn on immediately in the hallways so have to walk for a few moments in darkness.

This was our first time using a storage facility and Darron helped to make the process very easy. He provided excellent costumer service and I would highly recommend the Hyde Park located.

Staff always seems bothered. And I’ve been charged 3x for a unit I don’t have then told it takes 5 days for them to return my money. Ridiculous.

I wouldn't use this place again. You guys have big rats running around in the storage area. Your rats got in my unit an ate thru my bags. I had no food what so ever. Really need pest control

The facilities were clean but cluttered. The layout in the office is uncomfortable. Other than that no complaints.
The customer service was poor I waited in the line for a long time and the storage unit that I had signed up for was given to someone else and I was treated very unfairly

Overall our experience was positive. Though it did feel as though the location was understaffed. We always had to wait quite a bit to be helped or there was a line and we would return later.
