The young man who helped us was extremely professional, courteous and pleasant. He was one of the best staff members I have encountered in the 15 years I have been using that location. I didn't get his name unfortunately but hopefully you can piece it together by the fact we picked up at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday 5:14/22.

I rented a trailer, but when I got there to pick it up there was no trailer. I ended up having to rent a truck for a lot more money. I only needed to move 1 piece of furniture this is why a trailer would have been more appropriate.

Very accommodating, easy to use. Vehicle was fine, but looked like the customer before us got stuck in mud or something so lots of mud falling off back wheels in our driveway is our only complaint.

We were already running late when we realized that the heat and defroster didn't work in the vehicle. It was raining and we had to use a towel to wipe the windshield and because it was pouring rain the inside of the truck was freezing with no heat. When we returned the truck we let them know, hoping to get some sort of discount for a basically not fully working truck. However, the people reviewing basically said okay and sent us on our way. That's very poor customer service in our opinion. If we wanted to freeze and not be able to see where we were going, we would have just walked with it.

could have been cleaned better. The cargo floor could have been scrubbed, it smelled like manure. Just a deeper clean of seats too, looks like fibers on passenger seat. It ran well.

Clean the truck! It stunk like cigarettes. The out side was full of mud and the bed had wood chips in it. I used it to haul furniture so it was irritating that I had to clean the bed out BEFORE o could use it. The wipers were in need of replacement and the low tire light was on. I was very disappointed with the customer service at this particular location too. I suggest using a differ Location when possible.

Pricing needs to be explained a lot more!! I was quoted 33 dollars and ended up paying 88 dollars!

Your website is not easy to use. I tried to check into my reservation, and when I logged into account it said I didn't have a reservation. Upon returning the truck could not log into website to identify location. After calling customer service, was able to check out without penalties. A few minor interior defects in cab, but nothing horrible. Overall the truck itself was a great ride and in nice shape and staff were very helpful when contacted.

Gauges cutting in and out. wipers not staying on the arm. all the moving stuff we had in the back 3 feet of the truck got soaked. paperwork left in it from last renter. called uhaul roadside and the person that came out was more concerned with water damage to the truck than the safety stuff the water damage was to our stuff not the truck

I reserved a 15 ft. van on Thursday 3/17 for pickup on Saturday 3/19 at 7:30 AM for local use with return the same day. I was very specific about what I wanted. When I arrived on Saturday, I was told that my reservation had been set up for a cargo van. I told them that this was incorrect, but was informed that there was not a 15 ft. van available. I eventually left with a 10 ft. van, since I had a crew waiting for me. This is the second time I have had a screwed up reservation with this store. When I moved locally, 5 years ago, I had a similar thing happen with a reservation for a large truck that was changed to a smaller truck and I had to go elsewhere to get the large truck with a delay in getting my truck. When you make plans, you need U-haul to be reliable.

I only had the facility to measure this review. Future uhaulers, make sure a quote gets a confirm. I didn't realize this. Had to recruit help to pack. On my unpack end, help was great . I had difficulty getting the tow trailer hook off and also couldn't get my phone to take a picture so self check in didn't go smoothly. Glad it's over.

The check-out guy, who was very nice, only checked the trailer's turn signals and brake lights. Unfortunately, the running lights on the trailer were NOT working, which means that I almost got run over by a semi truck on the interstate at night. VERY DANGEROUS!! I planned to drive through the night, but instead had to get a hotel room ($$), which set me back half a day and totally screwed up my time table. NOT HAPPY!!!

Originally my pickup was moved 30 miles to the south (Beloit) and I had no car. I was walking to the pickup in Janseville a few blocks away. I received texts after, but before I only received the online registration notice two days before. If you change the pickup location it would be very helpful if you sent a text that it was changed immediately, so the customer had time to make alternate plans or get it changed to another location that was closer (i.e. the other Janesville location in this case was much closer than Beloit).

I made sure I returned the truck with the same amount of gas. BUT, still they want to charge me an extra twenty dollars because of gas. WHY!!!! I don't agree and if they dare charge me, I will never rent ANY equipment from u-haul again. And I will never support u-haul. I will not recommend it! Never! I will rather rent with the competition. Very angry...with this. Dissatisfied with the supposed charge. I returned it with the same amount. Not fair. Ahhhhh!!!

when i ordered the uhaul ,i wanted it close to where we live .i put down 30 miles ( when i was getting it close to our town, )we had to drive 25 miles to pick it up ,so ther was our 30 miles ,on our way back into town at the place were i said i wanted to pick it up at ,had one sitting there,so i had to spend more money on renting this from a round trip of 50miles plus what i had to drive between 2 homes which was only 6 miles between them .keeping me in my orginal 30 miles .

UHaul and the Self Service storage Employees were top Notch. They were polite, helpful, accommodating and patient. I had originally scheduled a drop off at another location and UHaul made it pain free to change the drop off to the place we stored our belongings. They didn't even blink an eye. That was a total game changer for us. I would recommend them everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Fantastic experience. They made a stressful, emotional time and incredibly smooth transition. THANK YOU!

Cody Johnson should be fired , not helpful , was rude and was not doing his job! Don’t know how he got his name on door but it should be taken off . Any questions please call me at 8593933438 , I did file complaint against him and hope he’s fired!!! Very unsatisfactory service.!!!! I didn’t not use any of uhaul units , I went to another company! Would not recommend uhaul storage to anyone after my experience. My money was supposedly refunded but have not seen it on my credit card. Would love to discuss this with someone other than Cody Johnson please call me!!!!

I have had 3 recent contacts with the uHaul store in Janesville, WI on Milwaukee St -- I had a trailer hitch placed on my truck, rented a 6x12 trailer to pick up in Colorado and return to this location, and took advantage of the free 30 days storage. We frequently use this location for business matters and have always had good service. The staff that I dealt with during these transactions were exceptional. I was under the gun to get the trailer hitch placed - it was ordered 7-10 days out and still not in when promised - the young man I dealt with called around and found one in Love's Park, a CSA drove down there to pick it up, and they stayed late to make sure the hitch was properly installed. When I was contacted to say the hitch wasn't in, the young man had already come up with solutions and made sure that I knew he was doing everything possible to make this happen. When I returned the trailer and rented the storage unit, the process was quick and painless and he even backed the trailer up for me. :-) Couldn't have been more happy with how things went and the team I worked with! Well done!

Since we stored the contents at the Janesville location we were disappointed that we could not drop off the trailer there. We had to drop off in Fort Atkinson the next day. Did not make any sense.
