I know how to drive a 15 ft truck but was unfamiliar w the lights, lock and plugs for phone etc... when I suggested ( after returning it) that maybe a 10 minute tutorial on that stuff when people get the vehicle, the girl said â€œ you shouldn't rent it if you don't know how to drive it. I love when I went to U haul this Morning they was so pleasant.. But when I went to return MY U haul the was cussing inside the work place so unprofessional I have never went inside a place of business and heard so much profanity... I had a very bad experience and your employee Melissa is very rude. I rented a unit that would not fit the item i needed after the third time I was told that they didn't have a unit the size i needed and i was arriving from Dallas i had to cancel and find another storage place. I reserved the truck about 2 weeks prior to the pick up date and was told one price, the day I arrived to pick it up the price had magically jumped almost 800 dollars. We found out this was because the idiot working that day took off a military discount I had been given and did not know how to reapply it. Then they refused to correct it when I brought it up to a manager. The truck was filthy with dog hair and smelled like someone was smoking a pack of cigarettes a day in it. The smoke was so thick on the inside of the windshield I had to spray it with windex and let it sit to dissolve the layer of nastiness. I could keep going but it would be pointless as nothing will be done about any of it.RANDY B.

The truck was pretty bad. Sounded like the Orca from Jaws. Was super super slow. Spelled like it was leaking or burning fluids but nothing visible under the truck. Brakes were spongy. I understand that there is a different person driving this truck every weekend and the truck had almost 150,000 miles... thats a lot of different people. But, safety has to come into concern. I was lucky to only have driven it 10 miles. But it was clean, cab and cargo area. As far as location was good. A little but of a line but to be expected the last weekend of the month and on a Saturday morning. They had 3 people in the front working so doing all that they could.Christopher O.

Employee was backing up in their personal truck and wasn't paying attention while on phone. Seemed like if we weren't paying attention, we would have got hit. I gave him a shitty look and he flipped me off and threw his hands up like he wanted to fight showing no regard for us. I went to my truck to grab my pistol to let him know he is messing with the wrong dad and daughter. Yes that's right an employee flipped me off in front of my daughter and I grabbed my gun. I didn't point it or anything. I then had a manager come out and belittle me saying that I pulled a gun on her employee because he flipped me off not showing any regard about how unprofessional her employee is. She said she would ban me for life. She wouldn't let me rent my storage unit but agreed to let me drop it off. Then I dropped off the trailer, the same employee happened to be In His truck and I stopped and stared at him again, he was facing the passenger window. And flipped me off again where my 12 year old daughter was right in front of him. I went in and blew up on them. I may not have handled this the best but the total disregard for their customers let me know that there is an issue with management. I will never use their services again. The location is great. The online experience sucks. I am currently trying to reconcile the credit card statements on this transaction. There was an honest mistake made by the location, which they promptly corrected. But the receipts do not add up to the proper total. Right now I am renting equipment at least once a week. The van rental had cockroaches crawl out from under the front drivers seat. Noticed this when loading the van up at my location after the initial inspection as they were not out when inspecting at the lot. The odd smell in the vehicle now makes sense as it was clearly treated for roaches prior to my rental and was not properly cleaned. Staff on site when picking up and dropping off where very helpful and kind, so just a cleanliness issue within the van itself that was not immediately apparent.Jonathan L.

There were homeless people hanging around which frightened my friends and I, because they would come up to us to let them in and we couldn't move out safely while we couldn't leave our doors open packing up afraid of thrives! And one lady that was putting her stuff in storage had her purse stolen! All this was reported and still issues being safe. So I when I moved out, I noticed a big fee on my checking account that was supposed to be most of my new apartment rent and now I don't have all the money now to pay! The only problem I ever had with them is that my things were there for over 3 years I carried Insurance when I went a few months before I went to go move out I realize that my things were infested with moths. The insurance did not cover my loss I lost a lot of personal things clothing furniture so forth so I was very disappointed about that still am as matter fact. The worst part about it so far has been that I originally was not told the “free first month” was only for a 2nd floor storage unit. I wasn’t told this until the day before I moved-in. I was also told 24 hours before my move-in that the size unit I wanted was not available. I should’ve been told this long before. I had to get a smaller unit, on the 2nd floor, and I’m hardly able to access it. My login card and code do not work, and the office people could not figure it out and ultimately weren’t able to get me one. With hours closing at 10 and my work schedule weird, that kinda sucks. Not one employee was wearing a mask. When i walked in two employees stood there talking and when the third employee walked in he said, “help her”. I reserved a furniture dolly and didn't receive it and nothing was mentioned about a credit, although once I mentioned it it was credited. I was given a truck with 7/8 tank of gas and when i turned it back in it was reported that it was empty, i drove less than 10 miles and also put more gas in so someone had to verify.
