When I returned the vehicle at about 12:30, I was asked if I wanted a paper or email receipt. I choose the email version and was told I would be receiving it via email. I have yet to receive the completed statement yet. Other than that everything was great.SAMUEL C.

Despite reserving for pickup at vehicle, I was forced to go inside with my credit card, was told there were no dollies that I rented but after insisting, they materialized. Then, the 1/2 dozen blankets we ordered were not there. When we asked for them, the guy said, we don't have any, "do you think I can just make some appear." Miraculously, he went in the back and came back with the blankets. He acted like we were a nuance and did not want to provide us with anything we ordered unless we fought with him for it. We had to pay for movers to wait 45 minutes for us to get there with the uhaul due to the delays, wasting our money. Horrible experience. Will never rent from that location again.Warren C.
The truck was in poor condition. Right break light/turn signal did not work. Driver window crank was missing and therefore couldn't roll down window to adjust mirror. Could not adjust right mirror because it not rotate. Windshield wipers needed to be replaced â€” made for dangerous driving conditions in rainy weather. Shocks were bad and needs to be replace. The alignment bolt was missing on the passenger door making it almost impossible to close.Samuel P.

We reserved a climate control large unit, when we arrived there was only one unit available which was not climate control and very small unit. i had to take it out of desperation for a move next day and no time to look elsewhere. My reservation was changed from Kenner to Harvey without notice. I did not know it had changed until I arrived at the Kenner location and was told I had to drive 45 minutes through the city to the Harvey location. The workers at the Harvey location ignored my existing reservation and rang up each item again, which lost me about $200 and left me without a furniture dolly. The two workers were so busy with their personal conversation that they couldn't be bothered to show us how to use the equipment. Even when we asked very specific questions, we were brushed off and seemed to be bothering them. We had to figure out the workings of a 10' truck and a car transport, as well as how to connect the two and strap my car down, all on our own.SYDNEY M.

Truck was dirty, brakes poor, side mirrors was broken.....right in my view, truck was so loud on the inside. Not a quiet ride at all! I picked up after hours and got the crap truck I would NEVER have accepted this truck of I was doing a live pick up, but circumstances dictated having to to an after hours pick up.....never again! This was a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience with U-Haul! Absolutely horrible!kathleen C.

On Thu, Nov 18, 9:01 PM, I emailed 747031_GM@uhaul.com: 1) We were overcharged. The mileage in the morning was 6138. See attached photo. 2) When I placed the order the location was 4 Westbank Expressway but when I got there at 8:30 she told me it was at 2340 Lapalco, 5 miles away (10 extra miles round trip). Males workers were very rude. very short toned and arrogant. I felt like I was not appreciated as a customer but instead they made me feel as if I needed them and their deliverance made that very clear. specifically from the manager ( young African American guy / slim build) I attempted to also deliver vehicle to tulane ave in NOLA location and the 2 men were also very rude there as well . and wanted to charge me 200.00 for a incorrect drop off fee.MERCEDES C.

Location was great but overall service I got from other uhaul dealers were terrible. I had a reservation they made me drive 111 miles to get and then bumped back in time twice before cancelling it all together 30 minutes before scheduled pick up. Then proceeded to tell me how they had no trucks for that day and would not have anything available till the middle of the following week. What's the point of having a reservation just for a truck not to be reserved and leave you scrambling the same day as a move.ZACHARY B.

I reserved a reservation a week in advance and I requested a dolly to be reserved as well, however, the General Manager who assisted me stated that he didn't have a dolly and never bothered to show any kind of empathy for not having one due to me reserving one in advance when scheduling rental reservation. The General Manager is very unprofessional, he asked me how long was I going to need the U-Haul and I stated they should have had that I was going to need it all day and I would return U-Haul back before the closing day, the general manager replies you sure you need it all day, and why would you need it all day, to me that's very unprofessional, I work in management for 19 years now, and whoever hired him and promoted him need to be ashamed of themselves, because he's very incompetent and he has no people skills whatsoever. Also there were roaches inside the U-Haul and it was notice as I was driving by my 15 old son who pointed them out. I told him and he never once apologized for the roaches or my experience with renting a U-Haul from his location which has been the far most worse experience that I have ever experience with any company. Therefore; I have taken pictures and I will be moving forward by taking other actions.STEPHANIE R.

I had a flat on my trailer after my sons filled it I was 7 minutes from the uhaul never got a chance to hit the road I called she kept giving me a number online was giving me so I pulled up she did not know how to show me how to do roadside assistance and I had been on hold my friend offered to change the tire we can see you have more insisted I n me waiting on hold until I ask for a manager and when he arrived he changed the tire so simple she wasted a hour in half all because she had no common since sorry but she need to be trained againKEVA W.
