I was charged for safe moving which i didnt ask for. I called to dispute and spent one hour holding and was disconnected after holding for one hour

PETER G.The location was fine, it was the rest of my u-haul experience that was lacking. I was not contacted prior to rental day as stated, had to call the central scheduler myself where i learned my reservation had been moved to a different location. This increased mileage but the rate remained the same. The truck had less than 10 miles of fuel in it. The overall failure to communicate, changing reservation details without notice and failing to compensate for the additional time and expenses that were incurred because of these changes resulted in a frustrating experience. At least when you had the $50 refund for not getting preferred reservation details it took the sting out if having to re-adjust your schedule and the increased costs.

arthur V.I requested a furniture dolly as well as a hand truck. When I asked about them, I was told they would see what they had. They piled up my blankets and hand truck outside the garage and never said anything esle. Online I was told by requesting it early, everything would be ready and loaded onto my truck waiting for me. The attendant most definitely was not interested in being bothered with getting me anything or providing any sort of positive customer service. Just wanted to get me out. Told me that the tank was full, but there was only 3/4 of a tank when I got in. I returned it full anyway. U-Haul has certainly lost a step from previous experiences I had years ago.

My problem is that I reserved a truck for a different location and I was notified the day of that I would have to pick up and drop off the truck at a location much further away. If I would have know that, I would not have reserved. It was very disappointing and made my day way longer than it should have been and cost me more money than it should have.

ALBERT B.The truck that we rented was old and the gas mileage was horrendous. It appeared that we were only getting 3-4 mpg. We rented a different truck a day later that was newer and fabulous. Same size 26'. The gas mileage was remarkably better.

I had to return shortly after I left when I realized the tire warning was lit. I was given another vehicle which was fine.

James T.when I arrived I was told that I could not leave my vehicle. Instead I was told to park my vehicle in the parking lot of an office building near by. Uhaul did not have arranagement with owner of the building for people to park, but instead people were directed to park there at own risk of towing and what not. DIANA M.The entire process was simply terrible. When I ordered my van online at a specific location, they changed the location and NEVER notified me of the change, nor asked for my confirmation. Additionally, it was clearly not the "closest" location to my original order. Next, I was told by customer service that since I checked in on the app, that I would just need to find the outdoor bin to locate my keys. This was completely false. I checked in on the app, but still had to go inside. I checked-in upon my arrival and located the van that I reserved. A few minutes later, I went inside to confirm and obtain my keys, but they literally gave away the van that I reserved/confirmed on the app. Then, they gave me another van that was wedged in between two other vehicles, and did not bother to help, so I was forced to a 22-point turn without bumping into the other vehicles. Not to mention, the passenger side mirror was cracked and then I had to manually adjust the gas/mileage on the app, because they gave me the wrong van. From start to finish, the process was backwards and it's clear that they have no systems in place. From booking, to the app, to the customer service, and to the overall experience, it was dreadful.

The condition of the truck was nasty. Dirty cab, spilled coffee everywhere. Front wheels wobbled back and forth. Wipers need to be replaced.

We were not notified of this prior to arriving with our Uhaul truck full of items we planned to store in a 10x10, and we had to make multiple trips to take things back that could not fit in the 5x10 unit we were given. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - so no issues at all with the service.

I spoke to two office staff two months in a row to put me on auto-billing --- I was charged later fees each time because they didn't do it. Then when I checked out, I used the website because clearly the office staff didn't follow-though. Guess what, my check out was not processed. I stopped into the office just to confirm, and he had to do it manually. Why waste my time.
