There's always a line, even dropping off on a Monday morning. There needs to be a more efficient way to get customers through the check in/drop off process.


I expressed my concern of needing a trailer over 50" wide for my mower. The attendant looked up the trailer and stated I would be fine with a few inches to spare on each side. When I got home to load the trailer gate chain attachments that are welded on are only 48" apart and thus my mower would not fit. I immediately returned the trailer and asked for a credit for the next time the trailer I need is available. The attendant told me that was not an option for once the equipment leaves the lot the charge stands.

You need to let customers know how to kick the gear to drive mode in the vans. I did not know I had to push a button on the hand control. The instructions in the van said to depress the brake. It did not say anything about pushing the button

Truck was in very poor shape. We risked our lives traveling with it. Was unable to get on the phone with anyone for at least an hour and a half. And every time i did get to someone there were zero options and i was simply out of luck.

Overall, this location is great geographically, but the entrance and parking lot are not well laid out and are tight and needs to be relined. The exit is at a light and it seems to take a long time to exit. Mobile instructions should indicate truck key is right off main building door not just by right door. Trucks have doors too! Website did not function properly not accepting pictures for previous damage on truck.. Phone assistance was only good early am. I called at least 6 times to get through. All times were more than twenty minute wait. I could but get a call back because it would not accept the pound sign. No dolly was included as ordered. Series of little things went wrong with the reservation.

We had a very poor U-haul experience. Our pickup location was changed by a difference of 45 minute commute less than 48 hours prior to our pickup, forcing us to rearrange the movers we had booked. We spent over an hour and a half on the phone being passed around to many different employees, none of whom were sympathetic, apologetic, or understanding, and were hung up on multiple times. U-haul was unwilling to give us a better pickup location despite the fact that we booked our truck greater than 3 months in advance of our pickup date. We were loading the truck from apartments in Center City Philadelphia, but also needed an auto transport. Since there is no room in the city to un-latch the auto transport tow to allow for loading the truck, we asked the 12th and Washington U-haul in Philadelphia (our preferred site for pickup that we requested 3 months prior to our move date) if we could detach the auto transport and car there while we moved. They said no and were unfriendly on the phone, stating that we weren't renting from them so we could not use their location. We then had to drive the 45 minutes to Malvern for a 3rd time after filling the truck to load the auto transport and car before making our move South in the opposite direction from our home in Philadelphia. This was a horrendous process and our customer service was abysmal. We were promised $200 off of our $1700 bill and the charge on my credit card is still over $1700. We never received an itemized email receipt from the Malvern location despite my asking for it multiple times (at the time of U-haul pick up and at the time of auto transport pick up).


Very helpful I helping me pick out what equipment would work best for my moving needs and budget. Great experience.


The people were polite, helpful and I was hooked up and on my way in a short time. Very easy to check in I did not even have to get out of the car

There was a small hole in the roof that had obviously been repaired but it rained overnight and two of the boxes were wet. One of the boxes contained family photos which could have been damaged. Fortunately the were not.

It would be good to put plexiglass barriers up in front of the registers so your employees could have a safer work environment. They are working hard under tough conditions, and should have protection.

No one inspected the vehicle with me. I was making a long trip from PA to VA and during the trip the speedometer stopped working correctly. It just stayed pinned at zero. Also, the transmission didn't work properly. It would not shift gears. I feel that I was given a very unsafe vehicle for my move. I lodged a complaint when I returned the vehicle and I don't think I should be charged the full amount of my contract.

The location was fine, but I had a lot of problems with the online check in/rental return on my phone. The website was very slow and I kept getting error messages that the site had crashed due to high traffic volume, so it took much longer to process than it should have.

Parking situations can be a little confusing. I don't know if there were signs for instructions or I just missed them, but it's always difficult to know where to park your car if you're picking up a truck. Otherwise everything else was great.

My pick up location was changed the day before pick up and it was almost 15 miles further away. No adjustment was made to my per mileage charge. The person working did reduce my per mileage rate but it was still more expensive. I feel there should have been an adjustment on the front end to keep my rental charge where it was first estimated

Inform customers that the lot extends into storage. It was hard to locate the truck on my own. I was assisted but the whole point of doing online was to bypass that process. The person was friendly & helpful.

Your price for miles used is to high there should be no charge on miles just like when you rent a car ) you people want it all pay for truck then pay for use of miles then pay for gas i will never use you people again.


More parking needed to leave your vehicle and return the rental the same day.
