I have had problems in the past with renting truck/trailer combos. I always prefer to have the truck/trailer combo from the Malvern location. The staff members and management there have always been the best. I miss the days when they would go get the trailer and bring it to the location to meet my original reservations. The staff member who checked me in was professional in each step of the way. I rent a truck/trailer combo at least once a year for an event I go to and this year was one the better experiences (last year the trailer had a tire blow out and I sat on the side of a freeway for 4 hours, but the local district manager did help me with that as well but that was a truck and trailer not from this location).

Because of poor equipment and/or test equipment, my rental of a 5x9 trailer on Friday was declined "because my car's wiring was not working properly"; when, in fact, after purchasing my own tester, it turned out it was fine and their's was faulty. I had to postpone my need for trailer and travel many extra miles, waste my time and inconvenience the party I needed to visit. After they were shown the problem, they made no offer of restitution!

Lack luster experience, in contrast to the pickup experience. Place was convenient, clean and packed with equipment and box trucks—clearly a volume location. Suprised to see there were a number of employees still hanging out in the shop (it was after 5pm), as the lot man guided me to drop the trailer at the back of the upper lot. Once it was unhooked, a quick thanks and I was on my way.

We rented a furniture dolly and was assured it was in the back. We didn't realize until we got to our destination that we were given a regular dolly.

Rented a 26' piece of JUNK. 175 THOUSAND miles on the truck. The cab LEAKED. The body LEAKED. The ramp didn't work. The "Brake" buzzer on the dashboard NEVER shut off. ( try driving for 25 minutes with a LOUD BUZZER in your ear. When I returned the truck, I asked THREE TIMES for the clerk to note the problems on the receipt. He REFUSED. Told the clerk I wanted compensation for renting me a LEAKING truck. He told me to file a claim and then asked me if I was leaving the charge on the credit card on file. TOO BAD UHaul doesn't have any competition in Malvern.

I didnt recieve a confirmation call the day before and my reserved vehichle wasnt available. I was given a larger vehicle. This made driving more difficult ( turning around and backing up) and also increased packing dificulty since there was no extra space in the can and i couldnt pack everthing together.

I got ripped off on the mileage and will be complaining to the manager and if necessary the district manager.

They need to let people know up front that there is a fee and that you will be charged a diffrent amount when you return the vehicle

The bar is set pretty low (ie. low expectations and Budget is far worse). The truck has 3/8 gas, not 1/2 -- that's annoying. The "shade" thingy was in the windshield -- I shouldn't have to move that. The engine light was on, from minute 1. I assumed it meant nothing, but would have been really upset if the truck broke down. Would it really destroy the economics of your business to get trucks with power windows and power locks -- it is 2018, after all.

Parking trailers somewhere accessible. Backing a trailer back into a spot, at night, alone, between the storage units and the edge of a hill is pretty nerve-wracking.
