The Team was very professional and Truck was clean, however my Truck operated horrible. The Alignment of the vehicle is way off. Because I'm an experienced driver, I was able to maintain. Major Improvement: - Figure out your reservation system. I tried to pick up my truck from Colmar, PA location. The Uhaul was not there due to the scheduling glitch. Someone else took my truck and I had to go to Norristown. And NO the reprasentive at Colmar only told me to call the 1-800 number. The 4th person I finally talked to on the 1-800 number finally gave me a solution.Matthew B.

I was scheduled to return my rental at 930 pm and I did so early and the next day I got a call asking why the return was late... Apparently they will check you out remotely but for a fee for which I wasn't told they send it via text message.. I was told to drop key in lock box which I did(overnight) and I assumed that was it...In my opinion a sneaky and clever way to increase the customers bill... I didn't ask for that option and my scheduled return was after business hours... I understand about reading fine print but $20 charge on top of inflated rates are ridiculous in my opinion and was definitely a marketing scheme but I guess Uhaul is another opportunistic company taking advantage of the pandemic and â€œso calledâ€ contactless checkout.... Great location, great staff. I rented the van Saturday for a move and from the start of filling out the rental info online all the way to dropping it off was very easy, pricing was good. Van was very small. Hard to fit a queen mattress in there but other than that it was a very nice van. Very friendly staffDaniel S.
i did the off hours pickup and dropoff fairly painlessly after a small learving curve. There was a discrepancy with the initial bill on pickup but the online chat person resolved it quickly. i stopped in the store the day before and the counter person was helpful in updating my reservation and walked me through the pickup process in a very pleasant manner.Neil S.

This is my 4th time renting a UHAUL van/truck, but my first time at the Norristown location. The young lady at the desk was a great help processing my order. I like how everything was organized in the shop easy to find the packing supplies very clean. Even on my return of the UHAUL truck the young man Brandon was very quick and efficient and had me out in no time. Definitely will return there.Sianna P.

The vehicle needs to be serviced transmission is slipping ,front end alignment, and brakes where very soft . (Hard to stop especially when loaded) save yourself the aggravation of an accident and service the is vehicle.Anthony V.

I was overcharged for fuel. Contract indicated tank was full when it was only 3/4 full. I brought it to the gage reading slightly under 3/4. I received my receipt via email. I was charged for15 gallons.christopher M.

It would have been helpful to get a demonstration of hooking up the trailer to the hitch, and tips on the best way to load and unload with a trailer. Also, the stem coming from the trailer is too long, it results in not being able to back up for unloading. We had to unhook the trailer to load and when we were done, trying to hook the trailer back to the hitch was a nightmare. Almost resulted in a hernia!Solace D.

Three things happened with my reservation. 1) I have reserved the furniture dolly which wasn't available at time of my pick up. I have to buy brand new one to finish my move. 2) The gas was below the quarter tank but the reading said it is above the quarter tank. 3) Finally, this is most important thing. I rented the one way truck and I filled the full gas tank, just wanted to feel safe and not to stop in between and by the time I reach my destination the gas level is close to three quarters of tank. I lost close to 12 gallons of money. I Know it is written in the contract that UHAUL is not responsible for the extra gas but there is some clause for these kind of situations. I called customer service and they were not responsive as well as they were referring back to the contract. I feel if this is the case may be you should the low gas charge as well to make it right for the customers. Apart from the above three, every thing else went fine with my reservation and truck was good as well. I hope UHAUL will make some kind adjustments to the contract in future to help customers.PRUDHVI C.

We reserved a unit a month in advance and were told the day we were moving in that the unit we reserved doesn’t exist, despite us calling the day prior to confirm.
