One thing I find a little problematic is the fact that most trucks do not have the tank fuel full. They are at half capacity or 3/4. So when is the time to replenish the amount used at gas station it's really hard to estimate the precise amount in dollars. I usually go over the amount needed to avoid any fees I may be charge with when returning the vehicle. I think that's a problem where only the customer end up losing. I checked in online and arrived at the time you told me to arrive... which was 15 minutes later than my requested time. THEN had to wait 45 minutes on a long line before the ten-minute in person check in process. Everyone who I had lined up to help me move were waiting for over an hour for me to arrive with the uhaul. Why assign a check in time if you're going to make we wait so long? Horrible experience.Ed G.

My experience with the uhaul service at 6701 Tonelle Ave. in North Bergen was excellent. I've rented two cargo vans in the last two weeks. The vans are very clean. The first employee that helped me (I wish I knew her name) was fast and efficient with a happy attitude (it was 9am). The second employee was Javier. He helped me get the van and he was also the one who helped me when I returned the van. I could not of asked for a nicer person. His positive attitude and happiness made the end of my long day so much better. I give them all 5 stars. Great jobROXANNE G.

I was told you know you could’ve checked in on line, i’m lime no i tried three times wouldn’t allow me so i had to buy a lock which you get free if you check in on line that was bullcrap.. many people there not getting questions answered or complaining I just felt bad vibes with this whole event and pulled out.. - The lines are rediculously lengthy to even return the key or gain the truck. No structure in place. - Express lines needs to be implemented for 24/7 truck share options. No point of standing in the same line as those who are not there to get a truck and just taking 20 minutes to ask generic questions. Utter chaos in the facility! - Checkin process is very outdated and slow. - Customer service at Uhaul online is beyond terrible, they don’t have attention to detail, had to rearrange my order a few times because they always end up missing crucial details. - The movers (although a separate entity) did not communicate or show up at all. - “24/7 truck share” option is the biggest joke. You still need to go to the office and wait for an hour in line for your turn to check in for a truck as they need to still verify your license and do 2 phone calls. They always lie on the phone! Only wish it was accessible 24 hours. My work schedule keeps me out until late at night and I had to leave work early to get there while access was available, which meant I lost out on working and money. The staff is AWESOME especially Anky she is the best and José is very friendly and helpful as well. The only suggestion would be to fix the area in the doorways because the large chunks in the concrete make it very difficult to push or pull the carts to the door without loosing your stuff and if the edges were feathered down better the carts would roll much better. The setup with Walk up storage is just not usable. The hours of access to the storage unit through the actual entrance as opposed to the tiny fire door are not customer friendly whatsoever. The staff both in the office and in the facility were very friendly and very helpful. The people were helpful, but some parts of your set-up and process are pretty bad: - Access code on card incorrect (and not corrected yet) - Used intercom to call for assistance, intercom is directly below loudspeaker playing repeating message ...hard to hear person on intercom...someone did show up and help me though. - 2 hrs after moving in, my unit had your lock on it with message "come to office".....had to load stuff back into car and drive upstairs to be told my lock not allowed... have to use specific lock....why don't you just include the lock in the price and stop the nonsense. !!!!! - at 5:15 PM on Sunday 8/9 automatic sliding door to storage had yellow chain across it .... had to use single door to get cart in/out ...awkward - MAIN THING: The holes in latch on the door to my unit do not line up ...VERY difficult to get you lock into both holes....it is impossible without using force to get them to line up.Bradley B. | First Impressions

There was no reservation to return my truck there just that I had a storage unit. By the time Uhaul figured out I could just leave the vehicle there.
