Make sure that when a truck is reserved that they have the truck and not wait to the last minute to say that there is no truck available and leave the customer high and dry.


Have a Better attitude towards the customer . At the end when I went to return the rental they stated I had damage the rental and the scratch was there in the morning .


The actual place I picked up from was fine. The overall experience and customer service from u-haul was awful. I had a reservation for 7:30am pickup about 25 min from my apartment. I got a call the day before at 2pm that I need to pick up the truck 50 min away from my apartment and it won't be there until 10:30am. So I would have to delay my moving 3 hours and travel an extra hour, when I already had people lined up to help me and space blocked off in the city to move. I called customer service back frantically for over 2 hours and nobody was able to help me or offer any type of credit. The customer service was terrible and they were not knowledgeable or helpful at all. So I drove to the further location the next day, and it was a random Mart with no trucks there or U-Haul signs. I got there early in hopes to salvage the day a little bit. Called customer service again, and they told me they had a truck available 20 min from my apartment. So after all the calls I made and traveling I did, there was a truck 20 min from my house the entire time, and when I got there, there were what seemed like hundreds of trucks just sitting there. Also, I ordered a hand truck and they didn't have any available at the location, so that was another fail. The truck itself was fine once I got it, but overall a terrible experience.

I need someone to call me back immediately Uhaul put my husbands life at risk and broke the law by incorrectly attaching the trailer. It did not abide by the law of being 6 inches from the ground and could've caused a major accident

Originally I reserved a pick up at a Fort Lee location.when we arrived it was closed. After 40 minutes on hold with u haul, we were directed to the North Bergen site.,which was wonderful. However we wasted over an hour in Fort Lee and driving to the new location. I should not have a confirmed location at a closed site.

The truck was great. I pre checked in but the website wasn't processing the pickup and the app wouldn't accept the verification code so we spent almost an hour on the ohone. We would have come earlier if the office being open would have made such a difference. We soecifically booked friday night pick up to avoid a long wait saturday morning. When we dropped off the link couldn't find the office location so we couldn't proceed with the program.... Everyone on the phone was very courteous but the waits were long to be standing in a parking lot at night. When I looked on line it quote the price as .99 a mile but the bill was for $1.99 so I do not understand why it was double. I just had a dining suite shipped from NC to Beverly Hills, CA with ShipSmart and it was $700 too and they did the lifting and wrapping so next time I will just pay the movers. Hello - please review my constructive feedback: Location: Tonnelle Ave is a disaster and the entrance to your facility is confusing via GPS. I will avoid this location at all costs moving forward. Equipment cleanliness: The trailer looked like it went through WWII. It had pre-marked Xs all over it from previously reported damage. I had to add pictures too as there were stress cracks visible near the wheels. I'm surprised this is still being offered to clients. Checkin process: The "pre-check in" process saves zero time. I went through all of the same steps with the check in person who had the typical demeaner of someone that doesn't like their job. The most frustrating part of the process is that, with no warning, there is a mandatory callback for the "emergency" contact. This is excessive as it was not clear a confirmed callback would be needed *on the spot* and my contact was unavailable. I hope this feedback helps.
