I had the trailer less than six hours returned it the same day and I feel like I should’ve been charged for a six hour rental On the documentation, the trailer was checked in on the next day, which is not true

TYANNE MGiven a truck with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel so I had to go straight to the gas station and guess how much fuel I needed as soon as I got the truck. Then when I returned the truck they said I didn’t replace the fuel I used and was charged a premium. Fun little game isn’t it?!

PETRO JThe Uhaul truck has us stranded not starting, their needs to be workers assigned to have a safety check in place ahead of customers renting a truck. The battery being dead is unacceptable and employees should be trained to test a battery before a customer is endangered or potentially very dangerous!!! Not given a excuse by employee stating they do not handle any service needs.

BENJAMIN GThere is nothing good about this location. 1 truck was rented out with 1/8 of a tank of gas. What am i supposed to do with that? Over customer service is trash. I’m such an inconvenience for them every time I rent. Luckily there is a Penske nearby and I can rent trucks from there whenever I don’t need a van.
BENJAMIN G19.95 in town is misleading it cost me 124.00 the 50 mile mandatory is ridiculous when I stated I wouldn’t be going over 20 and in fact was less than 10. And to keep for an additional 1/2 day was 49.00 where was the 19.95 I will look at other options moving forward. The gentleman that met me outside when I dropped it off was helpful.

DANIEL CCustomer service at check-in was the worst experience I’ve ever had on any level with any services. Happy to chat more live if you want to reach out. I’ve used U-Haul many times and I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully upon check-in. In addition, the moving company that I reserve through U-Haul was a disaster. The only thing that went right was upon return the young gentleman who greeted me for return. U-Haul should be ashamed at the level of customer service I received upon check-in and the fact that you were movers fell through.

BETTI TEverything went well, however, employee was unable to provide a hand truck. We had reserved this a few days previous, we were told these are hard to come by. Even noticed hand trucks near the counter but maybe these were for sale, not really sure. We were able to manage but really could've used one. This was the third time renting from Uhaul for a move and never had an issue getting a hand truck the two previous times. I still appreciate Uhaul and will still use them in the future.

FRANCIS SWe have had to use this location several times over the past few months, and it is consistently an awesome experience. Everyone is friendly and helpful, we get our equipment quickly, and they're flexible. Most recently, we had an issue where the storage unit we were renting wasn't open because it was Sunday, and when we called U-haul about extending our hours, they did it in an instant without needing to charge us more. Great service.

ANTHONY SThe first truck had roaches in it. Though I am grateful that we were able to swap trucks, it ran into my moving time. I only had help for a certain amount of time and when that time was up, we had to move the rest of the items by ourselves (me and my kids) and I had to return the truck after hours. I believe that inspecting the back of each truck (and not just the cab) as they come in, would prevent this kind of mishap in the future.

RAM KWe dropped it off, the guy told us to back the trailer up to the trailer area. Said we would have the receipt in 3-5 minutes. It was fast for a return which was great but wasn’t very welcoming.
JOSHUA BThe ladies who work their are very nice and helpful. I always go to this location. With that said--first van that was issued to me had the tire light on and I was not comfortable driving it. The next van, which was a newer van, was very dirty inside---inside windows were dirty--the dashboard area--radio areas --all very dirty and finger prints everywhere....I would think with all the germs and covid still out there that the vans would get a thorough cleaning----very disappoint with this. Finally--when I got into the van the gas mileage said 417 miles to empty ---when I filled it up to bring back---it said 444 miles to empty---this means that the van was NOT FULLY filled up with gas. I asked for a refund that she said they do not do that----I would like my money back --when can I expect this?? Thanks Tony
ANTHONY GI checked the rig back in through my phone. But could not find the place to drop the keys. Came across a worker, and asked where I should drop the keys. Worker just said. ‘Need to bring the truck to the front’, several times. No explanation or answer to my question. In the end I just left the keys with her. Improvement would be to train team in the self serve drop off, as well as a clear location to return the keys.
Andrew BI had made a reservation through the app for a pick up before the physical location opened. However, when I arrived and opened the app and began the procedure of checking in, I received an error message that stated "no truck has been assigned" A call to the number provided revealed that indeed no one at the location had actually finished the paperwork and assigned the truck. This meant I had to wait an hour until the location opened. That caused a pretty major disruption in the days schedule for me as well as those who were helping with the project.

Once I was shown a unit to see, I had to stand in water to see 2 different units. Additionally, the 3 units I looked at had traps for pests. This was a very difficult experience. We ended up going with a different storage company.

FELICIA S | First ImpressionsI rented a truck from Michigan to Colerain location in the Cincinnati area, which allowed me 1 month free of a storage unit.. when I got to the location the young girl working the front desk didn’t want to give it to us although we had a contract for it.. several calls were made by my wife and I, until she finally got in touch with the President of the Cincinnati region. He overrode the front desk clerk and demanded that our contract be honored.. she was upset and ask that He (President) call her on her personal phone.. He responded “NO.I want to make this quick” ..The lock that was given for my unit was a faulty lock and wouldn’t allow me in at 9pm (2 wks later)after driving 3 hrs to get there.. after calling I was told that I was wrong and that the lock should open.. no one came and it was a wasted trip.. they did have to cut the lock off due to it being a faulty lock as I had told them..I told them it didn’t seem like the same key and that it seemed to have been changed but that I needed it cut off.. they refused to do it that evening but did do it later.. I was just a complete mess.. my family and I have rented truck, trailers, as well as storage units for over 30+years and over 20 different moves.. (this location) Not only would iNOT recommend but I would advise against using then.. I hope this saves someone from the hassle and hundreds of dollars I wasted dealing with them. I actually came back to empty the unit 2 weeks early so that no other problems could arise..

Sadly, promised satisfaction was not close to being MET. We had to switch our hours and got a smaller truck than we were promised. THIS MADE AN INCONVIENCE ON ALL OF US.
