I would recommend due to location other than that the staff was not professional and didn't greet me the lady was on a personal call and the gentleman really didn't want to wait on me, no customer service skills whatsoever or people skills Now when I was there earlier there was a very nice lady and had great customer service.

Although this location usually has everything you need, the location is in a difficult location to access. Colerain Ave is a busy road ( US 27 ) and with 4 lanes, a concrete median and traffic coming from everywhere, it does make it tougher to get in and out. The staff, however, is usually pretty nice, very helpful and as I stated before, they usually have what you need.

The Truck they tried to give me had a headlight out, it had 2 feet of snow in front of it and behind it. I asked the 2 people working there if I have to shovel the snow in front of it to get out and they said yes. Then the guy said he would try tower the truck out. He tried and couldn’t. I noticed the same size truck that I was renting out and cleaned of snow and asked. If I could just take that one. The girl said yes I need your paperwork back I need to re so your contract. So I went back outside to tell the guy I needed it and he took the paperwork in a slapped it on the desk I. Front of the girl and grumbled something about the truck. She sad something back about nobody tells her anything. She handed me the key and a new key and contract. I brought the truck back and the same guy met me out by the truck. I told him I just need to the actual amount that would be charged to my card he said you’ll get it in my email. He didn’t want to go inside to let me see what my charge would be he just kept telling me g me I’ll get it in my email in 6-7 days. I d plained I needed to k ow the amount being charged on the card and he looked at the odometer and gave me a total finally. The girl inside complained to me that when she told her manager the tricks were all snowed in that they were told to shovel them out. She thought that was ridiculous. When the guy finally gave me my total he then got in the truck and literally flew the truck to the back like he was either in a big hurry or pissed.

We reserved a 15' truck and when we got there it wasn't available. They sent us to another location 20 minutes away and when we received the truck, it was dirty in the cab and in the back of the truck.

There were roaches in my unit and also my unit was locked down with a red lock, when I asked why was it a red lock in my unit I was told it’s because it was not locked so I took videos and pictures of my unit and others and they were locked the same way. Ten I was lied to about them contacting me in which no one ever reached out to me I have call logs to prove this. I also wasn’t able to return some items I purchased do to roaches and my unit being locked when I paid in time. This is insane

I was told by the person at the counter that because I was bringing the truck that I rented back after store hours I had to download the u haul app to my phone in order to do the return process or I would be charged a additional.$20. I was given a pamphlet with instructions on how to download and use the app. First of all forcing someone to download something to their personal device is ridiculous and if that’s not bad enough the print on the pamphlet was extremely small. I returned the truck at night and it was way too dark out to read the instructions. The whole experience was very frustrating and the person that checked me in was very rude.

The girl at the front desk who handled our transaction has very poor csr skills. When I questioned quoted on line versas what she charged me was double. Very misleading. I talked with hailey on phone as she was jusy as rude. I will post my experience in our local neighborhoods facebook page as well

The U-haul Associate Was Very Rude! I Didn’t Like The Way He Was Talking To Me When I Would Ask A Question.He Has Horrible Customer Service. Horrible Experience With This Location. Whoever Was The Guy Working On 12/23 Around 4pm Was Extremely Rude! Not A Good Look For This Location.

The sales lady who checked me in was on the phone with her family the whole time talking about getting her family pictures done and was not engaged with me as the customer which was just annoying, and then every other time I have rented a uhaul the sales person checking me has either driven it to the front of the store or at the very least gone with me to get the truck she just handed me the keys said it’s 3/4 of the way down the lot there you go. So I go to get the uhaul and it’s literally parked so close to all the other uhauls that I can’t get in without squeezing through the passenger side door and still have to get back out to turn the mirrors on the other uhauls or they would’ve come straight off when I pulled out. Just very bad customer service. I understand family stuff is important but that call could have waited 10 mins while she did her job correctly. However the sales lady that took the uhaul from me upon drop off had excellent customer service even when being yelled at by another customer.

I will never get a truck thru Uhaul again. I moved two weeks ago and Uhaul charged my card 98 bucks last night leaving me in the negative!! Then the nerve of the stores customer service rept to get nasty when I demanded explanation and refund back to the card for the unauthorized charges. Nope I'll pay movers next time and will not send customer there.

1. The truck number on the text I received when I picked it up was different than the truck number on the key. So I was looking for the truck for 10 minutes in 22° weather 2. When I tried to verify the truck information on your app before I pulled out, it wouldn't accept the picture of the license plate and would not let me proceed. I wanted to adjust the fuel gauge record because it was at F but not past F. It took$40 worth of fuel to fill it up at the end when I had only gone 48 miles, because the fuel tank is actually a good bit beyond F when it's actually full. So I felt a little cheated.

Make pick up and drop off in the app a bit quicker. I should be able to upload my license ahead of time and shouldn't have to add my second driver information for a third time. Also, for this location specifically, they need to secure equipment before tagging it. My dolly wasn't secured so the tag broke and now I'll have to deal with that issue after drop off.

Online recommendations for pads is excessive. My truck was downgraded the night before even though they had 2 26' trucks when I arrived and my brother-in-law ended up renting one of them 3 hours later, because the truck was 20' truck was insufficient.

I was poorly serviced by Kerta Bonner. She was very disrespectful towards me in front of my child. She cursed me several times and told me that they did not have a truck available for me even though I reserved a truck days prior. She then refused to service me and moved desks to service all the other customers. Tina eventually had to come to resolve the issue and gave me the truck that Kerta claimed wasn’t available with no problems. As I was speaking with Tina about the issue Kerta started over talking me and started yelling very loudly. She is very unprofessional & ghetto. I would not recommend coming to this establishment if she continues to be employed with the company.

Yes, but there's a guy name Tony L., who work there, he is a asshole !!!!, very rude employee, talk crazy to customers, I dont see why he is working at uhaul !!!!, another employee told him to be nice to customers, a crazy experience !!!!

U-Haul customer service contacted me a few days before my rental. The location I requested for pick up did not have the truck I needed. So, they scheduled me to pick up at this location. She quoted the rental price to me for the new location pickup, and I told her that was not the same price I had on my contract. She then changed the new location to honor my contract. The lady I spoke with over the phone was very nice and helpful. I appreciated her help with everything. On Monday, 11/4/24, I went to the U-Haul location at 9178 Colerain Ave. in Cincinnati to pick up my truck. The gentleman who helped me was rude, he kept checking his cell phone and looking at text messages while trying to check me out. He also did not honor the price that U-Haul had given me over the phone. I showed him a picture of my contract and he said, “Well that’s not what it says on my screen”. At this point I was tired of waiting and told him to just finish the contract so we could go. He handed me the keys and said the truck was parked outside. It took me a while to find the truck. Every other U-Haul dealership I have been to, they walk me out to the truck I am renting and look over the truck for existing damage. He did not do this, so I pulled the truck out and took pictures of any damage before leaving the lot. Overall, it was just a bad experience at this location. Nice location you just need to look at your employees. Customer service is everything!

The people at the U-Haul facility was rude ever when I went in to get the storage unit the storage area was constantly covered in broken glass and trash and on top of everything I have had the unit since July they said the unit leaked because the hurricane I was working through the hurricane and there was water marks everywhere and I lost quite a bit of my property I will not be recommend U-Haul to anyone especially the lack of maintenance they keep up on there facility and the fact it doesn’t seem like anyone there wants to work worst experience I have ever had

Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. The manager, Tina, is the worst of them all. She tries to belittle people and talk down on them. Go read the other reviews…it will tell you everything you need to know. Even her own workers don’t want to work for her. Stay far away from this place. Tina is one of the most miserable and worthless managers in customer service out there.

Tina is such an amazing person I go to this location just because of her . Vibrant energy educated and precise I enjoy working with her and I can say Ive built a trusting relationship with when dealing with uhual trucks and storages . Christoper was also very hands on accurate and friendly The staff meme rs here overall are a pleasure and it shows in there work they enjoy what they do . And it’s not just a job and that’s what matter most . Thank you so Tina , Christopher and uhal staff members .

The status rude and difficult to communicate with. At least on 2 occasions, the staff didn't speak truthfully. She made it very difficult to try and rent a storage unit. Once I was shown a unit to see, I had to stand in water to see 2 different units. Additionally, the 3 units I looked at had traps for pests. This was a very difficult experience. We ended up going with a different storage company.

Process was very easy to reserve and move out. Only almost issue we had was that they were redoing the concrete on the day we were moving out which would have been nice to know in advance. Thankfully we got there early enough and they were able to start on a different part of the drive, but this could have completely deterred our move.

I rented a truck from Michigan to Colerain location in the Cincinnati area, which allowed me 1 month free of a storage unit.. when I got to the location the young girl working the front desk didn’t want to give it to us although we had a contract for it.. several calls were made by my wife and I, until she finally got in touch with the President of the Cincinnati region. He overrode the front desk clerk and demanded that our contract be honored.. she was upset and ask that He (President) call her on her personal phone.. He responded “NO.I want to make this quick” ..The lock that was given for my unit was a faulty lock and wouldn’t allow me in at 9pm (2 wks later)after driving 3 hrs to get there.. after calling I was told that I was wrong and that the lock should open.. no one came and it was a wasted trip.. they did have to cut the lock off due to it being a faulty lock as I had told them..I told them it didn’t seem like the same key and that it seemed to have been changed but that I needed it cut off.. they refused to do it that evening but did do it later.. I was just a complete mess.. my family and I have rented truck, trailers, as well as storage units for over 30+years and over 20 different moves.. (this location) Not only would iNOT recommend but I would advise against using then.. I hope this saves someone from the hassle and hundreds of dollars I wasted dealing with them. I actually came back to empty the unit 2 weeks early so that no other problems could arise..

I will never ever give you one more dollar of my money and I will never recommend you to anyone l! I was a tenant of the Colerain facility for about a month and they decided they wanted to raise my rent. If you would’ve kept my rent where it was for at least a year, you got a whole year of rent out of me but because you raise it, I moved out as fast as I could. Thank you. I’ll never use U-Haul again!!!!!!

Also, when I came their nobody was in the store, I hollered hello a few times, no answer. So I sat down and waited. That's when the girl finally came out. She acted like she had better things to do. I work at night and sleep during the day. I would appreciate that I could pack and unpack 7 pm- 7Am. I realize you don’t want people hanging out back there but it would be more convenient for me to access the unit at night. Also I need a large unit and none available

During the six months contract we visited several times. The magnetic card for entry/exit never worked. Hard to reach staff each time due to activity at front desk. At move out, had to wait 15 minutes at gate to exit until an employee happened nearby to go open gate. Intercom not working?? Why not offer another replacement card or code??? Very frustrating experience each time we visited… facilities were clean and well maintained.
