The key was not in the box when I went to pick up the truck, so I had to go inside and wait in line. Also, a light was on for service.

The problem wasn't the facility...it's the process of reserving a truck for pickup, drop-off, taking advantage of your advertised offer of including 30 days of free storage which goes along with a one-way trip (our was 600+ miles). Our reservation was changed to a new pickup location way far away from th one we wanted and not having the 10' truck we reserved. We ended up with the 15' truck, too large and a gas hog compared ot the 10'. We called and went online to see if we could get iti changed back to the original pickuploacqtion and size, but nothing worked. Wait times for cust. service were terrible, the website won't let you in.

These questions are hard. Yes, my stuff is fine but getting my stuff delivered and then the empty boxes taken away was a nightmare. So many calls, transferred to so many people, almost lost my containers, didn't deliver my filled pods on time and didn't pick them up on time. Also, U boxes are extremely small. For a large move, better to go with another container company.

Boxes were rented to help move, and truck broke down the day they were supposed to be moved, with movers coming the next day. Ended up having to pay movers to move everything back our of boxes, has been impossible to get in touch with anyone, and they started charging a recurring monthly charge for empty boxes that they picked up late. Would never recommend or use again.

The website when I selected other payment completed the order process and said someone would contact me within 48 hours. No one ever calls d and a week later I got sent anoyhet bill and late payment on top of the $140 I already paid, darn uhaul now costs more than the $150 arcade I drove to pickup. Real bait and switch on pricing. The agent told me when I booked I didn't need to order be exact on the mileage estimate and now I am on hold and keep getting disconnected to make a payment still. Real waste of time while I am trying to work.

We requested 2 UBox containers, and we only ended up needing 1. The 1 that shipped arrived and we had no issues with the process. However, the 2nd UBox that should've been cancelled was not and we've had to pay 3 months of storage fees while we continually wait for a refund and the auto payments cancelled. This has been the worst customer service/complaint process and still unresolved.

Have the right truck that the customer paid for. I reserved a 26’ truck but they did not have a 26’ truck at this location so I had to take a 20’ truck instead. They offered no money back or even an apology for the mistake

The light connector that the agent used to connect my plug to the trailer was defective. It would have been helpful if the agent tested the connection before I left the lot. I had many drivers being rude but I did not know why since I was keeping to the 55 MPH requirements and had my flashers on.

I was told I could use the dumpster to throw away any trash I had for $4 when I picked up the truck and when I got there to drop off the truck and started throwing my stuff away I was told by the general manager I could not and he would charge me $100 to throw my stuff away. When I explained to him what I was told he said he was the general manager and he was saying I could not and I could take it up to Rumpke for about $15 I could throw anything away. This is not good business and it was an inconvenience to me. If I had not been told the night before i would not have wasted my time or energyoasing the truck up with my trash.

I use U-Haul often but charging by the mile is getting expensive. Frequent users should get a price break. If there was a cheaper option I would use it.

Everything was great, although i just got a $154 charge that i need to call about first thing in the morning. I wanted the auto hauler friday night per reservation, but previous renter didn't return it on time. Clean/nice equipment, courteous staff but an unknown charge.

All good, if they could call me when they pick up the UBOX in the morning that will be better. I just freak out when I weak up in the morning and the whole box disappear.

when I went to pickup the truck the A.M. people working were not very professional alot of joking around and talking bad about fellow employees in front of customers also complaining about working for U Haul in front of customers. When I brought the truck back they tried to charge for using blanket pack which I did not order or use and the pack did not have a seal on I think you need to tighten the reins on some of these guys for what it's worth.

Need improvement with customer service. When I walked in for pick-up the store was empty and there was not an employee there to greet me. I heard employees in the back complaining. Somone eventually cam e out to help. Happy to say I received better service upon my return. Thank you. Overall it was a very good experience!

I had an issue with my auto hauler not being checked in when I delivered it. The gentleman at the counter assured me that he checked it in yet I received a notification from U-Haul stating they have no record of it being dropped off. I spoke with U-Haul Corp and they were going to contact the local center where I dropped my trailer off.

It was great ??. The time before when I did a rental I was charged for using the Dollie. Never touched it. And it took a couple of weeks to get it straightened out. Watch who checking people back In. I thought she was trying to make money herself.

Truck condition was bad. Bad shocks, bad engine, bent door that let in air with a loud whistle, air fan speed broken and working only on the highest speed (intermittently), cigarette lighter power socket non functioning.

Staffing this location with more people. I tried to do the phone checkin but your system wouldn't accept the picture of the back of my license so I had to wait for a while to get some help and it put me way behind.

First of all, I was quoted a rate of $313+5+tax of $9.??... but the bill came to $355 upon checkout. I was also quoted at $0.20 per mile if I went over 500 miles, and they ended up charging me $0.40 for the miles over 500. I would have chose another truck rental company already had I known the bill was going to be that high. This is absolutely unacceptable. Also I wanted a 15ft truck. It appeared that the location had tons of all different sizes of trucks available and I was told that 20ft truck was all that is available. When I first got into my rental truck, I noticed fuel gauge was just above 1/4 tank, went back inside to discuss. It appears that’s policy here. I’m ready to be on the road. I ain’t got no time to be filling up a truck right away!! I ain’t got time to be watching the fuel gauge as I’m driving home calculating how much fuel I need to be at 3/8 tank upon return! Bad policy!! All trucks should be full when dropped off and full for next customer. Also, the truck reeked of cigs from the past renter, this bothered me. There were also cig ashes in the cup holder which got all over my iced coffee bottom of cup an there were no napkins to clean it up! I would like an investigation into see if I was misquoted prices and determine if refunds are due! Also I feel I should get a partial refund for the truck not being cleaned properly. Overall I’m a small business owner and rent trucks all the time. I only went with uhaul this time because budget trucks was sold out completely within 200 miles. Overall this truck rental prolly cost me at least approx $150 more than I would have paid with other company and if ya all can’t do any better prices for me ya fine lost my business. Also I can’t stand how I get the hotline every time I try to call ya all. I can’t get ahold of the people actually at the uhaul Colerain location. So in conclusion, I give ya all a -8 star rating. Disregard my above stated poor rating that automatically includes a single star.

Gas Milage was off from what paper said. I called as soon as i got to my move location (picture was taken at pick up) i sent picture to lady she said she got it. Then I was charged $43.95 for a $19.95 moving truck. And I only went 8 miles! (Quoted 6) should of been $30 at most (it was quoted at $28 With 6 miles) and there is a Pending $15.17 fee on my account. (Probably from the Gas difference) that I send her a picture of!!! I Also put gas into it $2.81 to be exac) and have a receipt. I only went 8 miles and I put a Whole gallon back In! (They average 10 miles to the gallon) I'm Pissed

As stated above.... It gets no better than this when you're moving and have a ton of things on your mind, and the least you have to worry about other things, allows for a smoother transition and a much better accommodating move. The next time this happens, I won't have any reservations or problems figuring whom to contact when it comes to moving my belongings. The good folks at U-haul have been absolutely Outstanding, Professional, a well organized Team that I look forward to seeing in the future. Thanks Team U Haul.... for a job well done ! ?? ??

First the actual miles on the truck were thirty- five miles higher than my ticket said should be and the tank should have been seven eights full but was three quarters full.I called the store two hours before the original return time I estimated and asked to extend the rental two hours, a female at the store said that the store had already rented that truck and to extend the rental two hours would would cost twenty dollars, so I asked that the rental be extended until seven p.m. the following day. The response was affirmative and I asked if I were being charged for two days rental AND the twenty dollar penalty and the response was NO. I was fueling the rental at six thirty four p.m. when I got an email that was a failure to return notice! Ten minutes later I turned the vehicle back in with a FULL tank of gasoline, the store manager checks the vehicle and comes back to tell me that he is charging me $158.00! I pointed out to him that his employee signed the rental order stating that there were 35miles more on the van than the rental ticket originally claimed. He stated that he was taking off the third day rental charge and the 35 miles was staying on the charge! I paid and did not argue with the store manager. The scorecard is that I was either getting charged three days rental for two days rented and/ or 35 miles that I did not drive the vehicle, not to mention I filled the gas tank when I was given a three quarter full tank. Gary Smith Jr. runs a poor customer service operation , but gains that store added revenue by any means he can devise. I will not rent with Uhaul again and will share the story of this customer fraud to everyone I can.
