This was in a very rough neighborhood and we witnessed drug deals.. my children were very scared. After dropping off the equipment I noticed my debit card abs drivers license missing. I went completely out of my way to go back there to ask if they had found it and within a second she said no very suspicious like. When I asked if I could go look she said no. Very very unhappy â€¦ needless to say it put me in a horrid position and with no drivers license I couldn't rent a car to get to my next location. Very very unhappy and disappointed with your company and especially that location. An hour after drop off I received a call asking when I was going to drop off, and I had requested a certain location and the original location was still on file. I was told that I'd get charged double the rate for dropping off in wrong location and late. I called corporate manager and they were able to fix the thud cff he argue.6nikki M.

I was told by some young lady who was an employee that the gas level was at a certain point and it was not so I took photos of mileage and gasoline, when I replaced the gas and brought the truck back I also took photos,I was charged for gas that was supposed to be replaced anyway.i filled a complaint on line and felt like I was targeted by the staff at this location. I was reimbursed for the extra gas charged to my card and it makes me courious about how many people have been targeted at the same location!!!!!ANTHONY P.

U-haul location was changed, but not emailed to me. I showed at the wrong location and tried to mobile check-in only to find out it was 10 miles away. I was able to pick-up the rental at the other location with no issues and was told this was a guaranteed reservation so I was entitled to the $50 guarantee. Also, I asked for reimbursement or the extra 20 miles that I had to drive the U-haul due to the change in location. I called U-haul and they filed a case and said a scheduling manager would respond in 48 hours. I have yet to get a response.Joseph F.

Do yourself a big favor, and rent your truck and/or storage unit, from THIS location. From pick up, to delivery and even before all of that, when I just called to ask questions, the staff was absolutely excellent. Courteous, knowledgeable, very helpful and most of all patient. I rented a truck and then a storage unit. From buying boxes, to changing my drop off time, and even changing the size of my unit... This location's employees are great! Very nice and helpful. One guy in particular is always in a good mood and helpful and great. My only complaint is about the app check in process (not about the location). The app almost NEVER works when I try to check the trucks in after hours. It seems to break when I go to upload photos. I sat outside at night for 20 min trying to get the app to upload the photos, reduing the whole checkout process several times. It's very frustrating. I finally just have to walk away and leave the the truck for the uhual team to check it in, but I try. I really try. It just doesn't work. And that's frustrating because I know I'll get charged to have uhual checked it in the next day. Please fix this.Rachel R.

The employees here are great. The location is big with lots of trucks and parking which is nice. The homeless around is a little bit sketchy so I'm not sure I'd recogmend it to everyone, but some people I would still. The app frequently doesnt work when I go to return the uhual, so the app makes it hard to check in at night. Overall, this location is nice other than the homeless or people at the bus station.Rachel R.

I have been charged for 100 miles when I only drive between 8-12 miles. I called to get the issue rectified and all I was told was that there were only new people working and they didn't know what I was doing. The truck rented by me was handed over to me with an EMPTY fur tank, MISSING wiper blade- on a snowy day! It was not cleaned , nor inspected before sending back out. The situation was resolved by me; however, the hour delay caused a domino effect of chaos the rest of the day. The female associate on duty was more than rude-fiercely aggressive and unhelpful while a was trying to return the truck. I am a tough female myself, but only when provoked; I did nothing to warrant such hostility. The male associate, who initially checked the truck out to me was helpful and gave me clear instructions on returning the truck at 7:15 pm-(after hours drop box) on a snowy night. Moving is tough, but it needs not be made worse by folks who are not rude and uninterested in being where they are, and faulty trucks.KIRSTEN S.

A few comments just for feedback purposes: 1. Need trash cans in the rental building. I realize some people will throw stuff away that should not go in there, but need a place to throw away regular trash. 2. The alarms are annoying and too loud for people who are following the process. Either education people better or find a better way to alert staff. Even try to isolate the alarm to an area so not even one in the whole building hears it. I mean what are we going to do? The building is too large for us to even know where the issue is. 3. While the units felt secure, there were a number of times people just loitering around made the environment feel unsafe. Maybe consider a security guard. 4. Staff was very helpful both in getting the unit when the u-box was defected and also signing out. Although I had a terrible experience with my rental contract, it was a corporate issue and not a local store issue. Ben, the general manager, went out of his way to immediately remedy the situation as best he could, and then there was additional follow-up a couple of weeks later. I understand that sometimes poor communication happens and poor situations result. But I will continue to be a Uhaul customer in spite of the poor experience because of the positive resolution that Ben caused.BRANDON C.

The van got the job done, but the location was pretty sketchy. I dropped the van off after closing and as a woman who came alone I felt very unsafe because there was a crowd of homeless people blocking the key drop box that were heckling me and leering at me. I understand you can't change the neighborhood you are in, but I think it is worth warning if dropping off after closing or providing a more streamlined way to drop of the vehicle is important - the check in where it makes sure your car is in the correct location did not work. It could not recognize where I was, the barcode on the door did not scan, and then the take a picture of it option did not work either so I left without doing so.ERICA H.

A blinker wasn't working, I had to replace it for $20.00 out of pocket in the middle of my trip. This is very dangerous! Oil had to be changed soon. The van had one flat tire, the guy told me that it was ok but not true. No snow tires, no snow chains available, I mean, we are in Colorado! They give me no spare key for a 2600 miles trip! The back of the van was dirty, I had to clean it up before loading my stuff. The front of the van was very dirty, I thought that since covid19 emergency they would sanitize it every turn, but I was wrong. Very very bad!!Fabio P.

I have sent an email to email@example.com regarding two pods #AA6493E and #AA4074C that I had placed in the care of the Longmont facility in 2017. Due to issues pertaining to the sale of my house, Samson, who ran the facility was working with me after I had moved across country. After the Longmont facility shut down, my pods were separated, and while I received late due invoices from Huntington Hills, Stapleton, and Park Hill locations, I never received a call back from any manager or anyone to confirm that both of my pods are intact. I am still across country dealing with family issues - further complicated with covid - but I'd like to speak to someone from Uhaul to recover my pods if they are still intact. Good facility but no elevators for second level storage I didn't have a first level storage I had a second level storage and lifting the heavy stuff up the stairs was a bit of an issue there were no dollies available also could not find a bathroom in there store was neat and clean staff was there to help one questions were asked. Need more storage amenities in there the day I went Saturday was a pretty busy day and it was hard to get the flatbeds to move your stuff off the truck small wait a lot of sharing. Other than that good storage location easy to find I feel it's fairly new I don't remember that being there and affordable. The employee hung up in my face then 8 minutes later she proceeded to be just another month's rent out of my account again after I told her I didn't owe her for the last two payments they just took. I kept calling trying to get a hold of a manager they wouldn't would not put a manager on the phone. The card system was a bit more complicated to use after hours and wasn't informed that the loading dock doors would be non operational. Was informed that the lock was a zip lock only to find out that it wasn't. Luckily I was able to get ahold of the employee to correct this in time before they closed. I would suggest to have security on the premises as during move-in, there were alot of shady people around. I was moving all of my personal belongings into a storage unit. The original storage unit that I ordered online was shown to me when I arrived to look at it. It was an "example space" the rep told me. Then, a few minutes later a different representative came and took me to my actual space... which was WAY, WAY, WAY smaller than the size that they had showed me before. I asked why is this space much smaller? The rep said "Oh! You weren't looking at the arrows on the floor!" Nobody told me about any arrows on the floor in the example space I did not have very much time, because I was moving the very next day, and I had limited money... As my children and I would be homeless for the next three months, so of course I could not "ask for a larger space, for more money". The result?? I had to throw out 1/3 of my furniture that I had been collecting furniture for 30 years. I had to throw out my bigger furniture in order to fit into you guys as much smaller space. I did not have time to sell my furniture, instead. You guys did the old "Bait and Switch" on me. I'm going to make sure that the better Business bureau is contacted regarding this. I also lost all of my furniture, because apparently U-Haul doesn't care that and we were in the midst of a pandemic, and me and many other people lost every job they had. There were priceless items in that storage space my children's baby items, hundreds of books that I collected over the years, and I'm 49 years old I had journals back from the time I was 17 years old that were thrown out. I was glad that U-Haul kept my items as long as you guys did. My financial situation is slowly turning around, but right now, I can't afford to pay anything except my rent, which is exorbitant. Also, you U-Haul must hire better customer service people. The access code that was emailed to me did not work. However, I used a swipe card that I had from another unit I had at the building and it let me in. There is a sign and listed on your website that says elevators are available for use. This location has "split level" with no elevator. I was moving heavy, large items into storage like a washer and dryer and these items need an elevator to get up to the storage unit I initially rented. I had to change my rental and get charged MORE MONEY to get access to a SMALLER unit in the ground level. It just sucked cuz I was told by customer service when I booked it that the price is the same no matter how long you rent a truck for, but then was told by another agent that I’d be charged for another day since I had it over 24 hours. There were several frustrating issues with my experience. I am glad I decided to run over a car full of our items and get the storage unit a week earlier than we are moving because it would have been awful if I had our family (that is helping us move next weekend) sitting around waiting through the mess that was getting our storage unit. They had trouble finding our reservation which wasn't a big deal but a little time consuming. Then when I went to the loading dock and unloaded I found out the unit they gave me had a lock on it. So, I had to reload my items into my car so I wouldn't leave my items unattended and then go to the office to get them to unlock it. There was another person there also waiting for them to unlock his unit as well. Why rent units that are locked? It all seemed super disorganized and like they were understaffed. Then when we opened my unit the alarm went off because they set me up with a pin but didn't tell me that I can only use one of the pin pads by the loading dock door so it wasn't working. After loading all of my stuff into the unit I went back to the office to sort out the pin issue and there was no one there so I stood around for about 10 minutes. I finally found the manager and he helped me. The whole process of dropping off my car load of stuff and getting our unit should have taken 30 minutes but it all took about 1.5+ hours. The staff was nice enough but they are a mess and need more staff. I would not recommend this storage facility.Kathlyn S. | First Impressions
