Rented a 15 foit truck to hail 14 ft boards and it wasn't long enough when we started to load the wood. IT stuck out of the back of the truck 1 foot. We had nothing to tie the door down with. We called for help and we're not helped.

Before I brought the truck back I went to the gas station filled the tank up. When I get back to the U-Haul place to drop the truck off the rep tell me the computer is down and he can not check the truck back in so he is trying tibiae his phone to access the system, I am waiting so long he finally go outside to check the truck and come back in and give me a fake charge for gas and service fees. This rep attempted to scam me. I asked him to just look at the total miles on the truck and he would see that I actually only drove the truck a few miles and it would be impossible for the truck to be empty just based on the mileage. He would not do it. I am never coming to this place again

The AC in the truck didnt work on one of the hottest days of the year. Also, when driving it tended to pull to the right. We rent from this location all the time and generally have a good experience, it was just these couple of things that were disappointing this time.

While this location was good, the reserveation process was horrible. I reserved the trailer at a location on Telgraph, was called 24 hours before and told that it's no longer available and was moved to another location. When I was 5 minutes away from pulling into the new location, I was called and told the trailer is no longer available and was sent to a third location.

The location was great. The people were nice. But you advertise 19.99 truck rental and then my bill ends up being over $70.00. .99 a mile is a bit ridiculous especially with the cost of gas, and ya'll charge way to much for gas. I am hoping there are better options out there for my next rental need.

I did not receive all pieces of the hitch. The main problem was the car was not put back together properly and my bumper started coming off while driving down the highway. Now I have to have a body shop fix it so uhaul will be getting the bill for that

The truck was swept clean but the appliance dolly was raggedy. The back wheels did not function to assist in moving items up or down stairs or into the truck. The staff was nice enough but may need a huge cup of energy before greeting customers.

Uhaul Truck DC2645X AJ00471-AZ
Gas engine Idles rough even when warmed up to normal operating temp , feels like a miss fire.
15 ft.Truck did Get 10 mpg. Which I thought was about right for 68 miles with city driving and some idling .
Truck Drives good seems a bit low on power but not horribly, great steer tires adequate rears,
Rolling door works good but might need lube hangs up tiny bit at 1 ft. opening.

I rented a cargo van for one hour. I drove it eight miles. I replaced more than the fuel consumed and have the receipt. I was told that I would receive the final receipt by email. An hour later I received the emailed receipt with a $25.30 fuel assessment. I returned to the office to contest the assessment. The manager credited my credit card for the amount. The manager never explained why the charge was assessed. The manager never apologized for my
inconvenience.

No overly long explanation, morning employee (03/16/2026 @ 10:55am) was very unprofessional as in attacking the customer for his mistakes. I made a reservation from my own computer (https://uhaul.com/s/1FC21E7126) before arrival with only a vehicle trailer. He couldn't find it when I arrived at the store so he fussed about having to make the order over because he was tired and busy. He makes a new order in the store for a vehicle trailer along with a furniture dolly and moving pads (https://uhaul.com/s/FB63E5EF99). Then he attacked me saying "You customers don't know how to use the website and just add anything. Which is it, you can't find my original order that shows just a vehicle trailer or the one you just made at your computer, you mistakingly added those items but you are trying to blame the customer for a simple mistake. the last straw was when he said he couldn't remove the items and I had to pay for them. He was too incompetent to remove the items and too lazy to start his in store order over. Needless to say, I'll never return to that location. I hope Uhaul has an A.I. system that will actually go these comments and get this to an actual person who cares about Uhaul Profits and future.

The Customer Service agent that assisted us was wonderful. But when we got in the vehicle, there were warning lights on the dash about stabilizer bars being needed to be repaired and traction problems… The representative reset them and said it would not affect this short trip and he would make a note on our account to have the services checked. During the 26 mile trip the temperature gauge immediately went to hot and we noticed wires hanging down from the front of the undercarriage between the front tires.
When we return the vehicle, we told the representative and he told us to leave the keys in it and he would have it sent for Service, but in my opinion, this vehicle should’ve never been sent with us. If you’re not going to maintain your vehicle vehicles, you shouldn’t be renting them out.

Truck was old and not well maintained, even horn did not work which is a safety violation that i'm reporting. Brakes were squealing. It took about 20 minutes waiting in line to get vehicle that had reservation, there was no sense of urgency on part of employees to get line moving.

Scheduled rental trucks should be @ the front of the fleet. Not boxed in to the point where the customer will assistance in getting the truck out of the parking space. It's not as if the trucks have back up cameras. And the employee should not get an attitude when asked for assistance. That was a real turn off.

I did not open the back of the truck I rented when I first picked it up. Just assumed the truck was empty. When I got to my destination, i opened up the truck to find it was completely full of furniture (mattresses, couch, various). I had to drive all the way back to Uhaul location and swap out the truck. It doubled the amount of time that this should have taken. The manager from the location was apologetic and provided a discount, but it caused a disruption to my day doubling the amount of time it took.

OK, my experience with the sales rep I had I forgot the young man name he’s a dark skin taller guy. He was excellent. He stayed over and and beyond for me. He really helped me out. He did the best he could with everything. I really appreciate him. I gave him five stars but for my truck I believe I should get reimburse because the exhaust leak was so horrible. It made the truck run out of gas very fast like I was getting gas every two hours. I feel like I should be reimbursed something the struggle was really raggedy. I don’t think they should rent that truck out like it was barely driving like I couldn’t accelerate. I wasn’t trying to speed, but I was just trying to just drive at least reach a certain mile per hour also, I’m confused. I thought I was supposed to get a refund if you can live into my account I thought I was supposed to get a refill for my trailer rental. If you can give me a call back at 3134611503.

I was told that I was able to fit my refrigerator in the storage unit but that was not true when I brought the refrigerator to the storage because it was not the correct size. Other than that it was nice to store the rest of my belongings just next time make sure your workers know what is able to fit and what unit thank you thank you.

While the facility is well maintained and staff is friendly, the cost of storage for a small space increased from $74 to $79 to $85 over the course of 2 years. Understandable that U-haul is in business to make a profit, but a senior discount or rate freeze for seniors over 80 who have stored with U-haul for more than one year would have been helpful. Respectable experience overall, but there are other facilities offering small spaces for much less.
