The only issue I had was that it was pretty difficult to turn the ignition key. I had to keep messing with it and finally had to get someone else to do it. They still had trouble but finally got it. Other than that the truck was great and service was wonderful.

I have spent a lot of money at this U-Haul location. The service has started to go down. This last time I have gotten charge for a whole another day for being fifteen minutes on the rental. I am highly unsatisfied customer with this location. And will be taking my business elsewhere. I have spent average $200-$400 a week at this location from buying supplies to rentals. Evan needs to work on his people skills and train his employees better. I receive a phone call from Evan at 7:00am stating that the rental is late and taking place of another reservation. First, who calls someone at 7:00am? Most companies start calls at 8:00am after people are up. When I booked the reservation online I booked the reservation till Friday morning. Customer service is going down poorly. I will not return.

I gave average rating on location only because of getting in and out on the street. Lady that did my service for hooking me up to pull a trailer was very busy and was there by herself but still did an awesome job for me. I can’t remember her name but she deserves some credit.

I was charged to much for using the truck. Said we drove 68 miles which is not true. Think they misread the odometer. Noe the less way to expensive

For a holiday weekend. This location was understaffed on a Friday morning. I had my truck reserved through the app for 3 weeks. When I arrived the truck that was designated for me had been rented. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get through the line inside and get another truck.

Jeremy was working that morning and was super helpful and pleasant even though he was the only one currently there and there were a handful of us there that morning. I was also nervous about backing the trailer up and he did a great job coaching me through it and backing me up without any problem!

The fuel should have been full at pick-up. It was not. This created some problems and stress for me. I could not recall the exact fuel level upon return. I had to guess the amount to fill at the gas station prior to returning van. I tried to pull this info up on the app; I could not. I tried to then call the 1-800 number to get this info; that did not work either. I was faced with the prospect of going BACK to the gas station (not close by) to put more fuel in truck. At this point I was very tired from a long day of moving/driving and frustrated. None of this would have been necessary had the truck been FULL at pick-up. Due to above, if I am levied any additional fuel surcharges, I will not be paying them. It was also difficult to locate the key return slot. Note that I picked up the vehicle and dropped it off while the store was unattended; I had to do this due to my family's schedule.

Through poor planning of my own, I ended up needing to change my reservation and truck I was renting. The staff at the Riverside Linden Avenue location were amazing and took care of me and turned what could’ve been a bad situation into a success. I very much appreciate their hard work.

Would like to see equipment have a full tank at pick-up. Matching fuel level at intermediate levels is always a crap shoot, and I normally lose, buying more than I used especially with city driving.

The original reservation time frame was incorrect and we didn't catch it until the day before we were to pick up the truck. I happen to call to make sure that everything was in order for the next day. It wasn't. We almost didn't have a truck. I rent regularly here. I've never had a problem before which is why I continue to be a return customer.

The engine light came on and it look like the oil was extremely low. So I bought a quart of oil and put it into the U-Haul truck. Then the engine light went off after I did that.

Make it more clear where the key drop is for people dropping off after business hours who have never been to this location before. We circled the building several times before we realized it was an inconspicuous slot in the front door, instead of an actual drop box like in the online checkout example picture.

Highly recommended!!! Katelyn Lane very quickly and efficiently got us into a Uhaul Boxtruck....Very friendly...very helpful and informative!

Good experience overall. Truck was a little long in the tooth & pushing 100,000 miles but ran okay. Only problem was rear door latching assembly froze after each load. Only issue was Gas Gauge reading overstated on contract, asked for & recvd notation by rental agent for correct fuel guage level - could only make written note, not in system, so receiving clerk tried to charge exorbitant refueling surcharge.. luckily 1st agent had recorded note in daily activity log/journal. only serious 'complaint' is lack of any discount offers = I am in my 60s, limited income and had hoped for AAA, Golden Buckeye, AARP or one of my other possible break.

Keep better records of where gas is at. They screwed me out of a quarter tank. I should have checked from the start. But they do this everyday and should have kept better records. Overall ruined my experience.

The guy who was at the front desk during the time we picked up truck seem dry wasn't really friendly kinda dull not really explaining anything when it was my first time renting. Only explained when I asked. When we got the truck it still had the card board on windshield so I wasn't sure what I was to do with it so I had to ask and was told just to put on back of seat which is fine but wasnt the experience I thought. When came to return the truck there was a different guy who was super friendly and attentive. Big difference is all. Overall I appreciate there service.

I made a reservation online for a different location ( E. Dorthy Lane) When I arrive that location was a ghost town. Called the Uhaul, she transferred me to the Linden ave location, but only set my rental up for 6 hours. Rental was set up for 24hours online, communication errors, thankfully the Linden ave location worked with us. Stressful when places close at certain times, or are not open at all and the website lets you book it at that location. Thanks Linden Ave for awesome service and recovering errors from the website for us. I really wish the survey had a place for the website experience.
