You need to double check zip ties because ours were broke on dolly and pads. Employees friendly, just understaffed so service was slow.

The quote given when we called was not the same as when we picked up the vehicle. They had to pull the call to verify the quoted price. When the call center quotes a price it should be emailed to the client and the pick up location. Sorting it out is a waste of time and dollars for everyone.

I was cheated out of 12 miles on the mileage. I did not check it when leaving the location. Took employees word on mileage. I know I went 28 miles, and your employe said I traveled 40 miles. Perhaps next time I will rent a Ryder truck.

I was diappointed that the initial contract reflected 200 less miles than the odometer on the truck. The employee who pulled the truck around should have checked it. I also did not enjoy aurguing with Torrey? He did not want to reprint the contract only pencil in the correct miles. I was not comfortable with that because that contract id a legal document. I call Torrey's manager and then cancelled the original contract with credit card refund and reprinted new contract and credit card transaction. I will have to wait up to 5 days for credit card refund to post to my account. I thought that the simpler solution would have been to correct miles in the Uhaul system and reprint the contract instead of an inconvenience to the customer!

I read a review about the motorcycle trailer and want dispel it based on my experience. I pulled the motorcycle trailer with a four cylinder Honda CRV at 55+ MPH and it handled beautifully empty and fully loaded with a Harley Davidson Road King. I know everybody speeds with these trailers and at times I probably hit 60. For the daily rental, this fit the bill perfectly.

I rented the truck for 6 hrs. Not a good decision, very rushed, didn't get everything done. I move once every 15-20 years. How do I know how long it takes?

Equipment was clean! Thank you! BUT, the truck's steering was really not good. It had nothing to do with the towing of the car transporter. It wanted to wander empty as well as loaded. Because I have extensive experience driving everything from 18 wheelers to large cattle trailers, etc, I was able to manage but 969 miles was a bit too much to battle loose steering. Your "review/survey" is not sufficient. The U-Haul facility has great people and they do a great job. You need a separate site for defective equipment. I realize you may feel that everyone that rents your equipment are challenged "Harry Homeowners", who never drove anything bigger than a Honda Civic. Not so this time. I have nothing but high praise for this office of U-Haul. Corporate U-Haul needs to have a better system in place to evaluate handling of their vehicles --- relying on the "Harry Homeowners" that do rent and return the equipment saying they had no problems, is not the answer.

Maintain course and speed ~ I came to this particular location because it was closest to where I live. More importantly, I first went to a location where I rented vans and trailers before. Unfortunately, on the day I went to pick up the trailer on E Franklin in Centerville I discovered I left my wallet at home (in Riverside). The trailer was being rented to pick up 70 balloons for my brother's funeral later that afternoon. The U-Haul on Linden saved me hours of nervousness, thank you.

My complaint - that the brake/turn lights did not work - was confirmed by the CSR - he noted clipped/pinched wires on trailer and that my UHaul-installed connection seemed fine. GM at location has been anything but helpful. She has claimed to have called me several time - never has. There is more to this story but it is too long a narrative for this forum. The GM is supposedly working on my complaint - now in it's fourth day.
