Woman made me park my personal car all the way at the end by the self storage and as i dropped of my equipment she did not make someone else do so that came after me, also went to put gas back in the truck and was maybe a 1/16th off from where it was at when i got it and she said there would be a 8 dollar charge so i took it back to the gas station and put 3 more dollars in it which put it over where the gas gauge was at. The guy that walked through everything with me he talked way to fast. I could not understand anything because he spoke too fast. You could tell he's used to going over everything but it was so fast you couldn't tell what he was saying. Also when returning the truck he was discussing the final walk through while smoking the cigarette. He would say a few words then huff on the cigarette and then continue. Witch I thought was kind of unprofessional. You could of set your cigarette down to help your customer for a couple of seconds.Isabel B.

I cannot do business with this operation at this time due to first truck injured my Nervous System due the Weed smell I complained about to General Manager and Clerks. The staff could not explain to me that I should complete storage accommodation at the 4565 Linden Avene, Dayton, Ohio 45432 location fir two storage units awarded me over the telephone but General Manager changed the accommodation to fit his agenda an not mine. He never returned my calls to him when I reached out to him for clearifcations on how the check in process went until I met him by incident at the 4565 Linden Avenue, location on the day he gave me access to the facility at 4892 Burkhart and did not give me the key to the lock. I will be calling him today for the key to the lock and why access to leave property was denied upon leaving the facility. I need all Monroe's refunded to me to make this non-sense of a unit the Heneral Manager Evan Goode is having me pay for at $200 plus dollars after the first month. I am a 67 year old woman with High Blood Pressure and on a limited income and cannot be around Marijuana and stress of all this going on in my life.BRENDA D.

There must have been a staffing issue. I and 2 other customers waited 45 minutes with no one in the store or answering calls. The young man arrived and had to log into to work as if he was just arriving. He was pleasant and tried hard to get folks processed. I always rent from here and am not sure I will again. When I called the Mills RD location which is closer to my home on was on hold for 21 minutes before anyone answered. This was entirely too long. That location didn't have the truck I needed to rent and so I made the reservation and had to go the Linden Ave location which they were great.Sandra W.

Owner made me wear a mask! Would not help me until I put on a mask. I did not like that. But this is a privately owned U-Haul, so I respected his rights as a private owner. This facility is extremely well organized and laid out. The trailer I wanted was available, clean and solid. I cannot wait until this "pandemic" is over.Timothy M.

I was there at 11AM, and they couldn't rent me a truck or trailer because they said they had no inventory (the lady even searched all the local U-haul locations and said nothing was available anywhere) - an hour later, we were home and called the 1-800 U Haul number, talked to a rep who reserved us a truck at 1:45PM at the EXACT SAME location. So we went back and picked up our truck there. Ridiculous that they "couldn't" help us an hour earlier...BENJAMIN K.

The staff who checked us in was incredibly nasty and rude. We were yelled at repeatedly for being confused about where to go questioning additional charges for items we never received and we stopped for gas twice prior to returning the truck to make sure we had the fuel at the level we received and yet were charged extra for not having a completely full tank when that was not how we received the vehicle. Overall just a terrible experience and we have no interest in using uhaul equipment ever again.Jessica B.

It was a huge improvement at Linden Ave versus the Woodman Rd location and would be helpful to know the difference in a larger rental full service center vs a smaller gas station pick up.Bruce O.

Absolutely terrible. The counter person, Nosferatu (that's their name), speaks as fast as he possibly can to purposefully confuse people on their agreements and is actively rude. I couldn't get into my storage unit for four days bc they didn't have a working code to give me. They never answer their phones. I was overcharged on my truck rental and when I went in to get this all resolved the manager, Evan, offered to let me pay in cash for what I was overcharged so it wouldn't be on my card. COMPLETELY UNHELPFUL. A one day $20 truck rental turned into a $55 charge and a week long excursion. I've been using uhaul for atleast 6 years and this is by far the worst experience I've had at uhaul as well as one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I expect a full refund for the truck rental but I don't know how that will happen since it's impossible to get ahold of anyone.Eric B.
Your online app doesn't work. When I tried to load photos of my drivers license, it would only upload the photo of the back. When I returned the trailer and tried to upload the photo showing the trailer was clean, the app reset and restarted. I tried multiple times to complete each process. The man that waited in my husband is extremely rude. My husband has medical reasons for not wearing a mask, and he didn't say one word until after my husband paid. Then he was a complete asshole. My husbands issues and reasons for not wearing a mask are extreme and this guy wants to yell and threaten my husband. Not ok. The anti discrimination act of 2010 states that a private buisness cannot refuse service over medical issues. Not wearing a mask because of medical issues falls under that act. The way he was treated was completely and totally uncalled for and if he had video of it we would be talking to our lawyers. If this is how you treat people with medical issues then your buisness is not worth anyones money. Completely and totally uncalled for and ridiculous way to treat someone. Also making comments about the way my husband was dressed! Making fun of him and assuming his occupation! Completely and totally insulting and disrespecting my husband. Uhaul needs to be more professional & stop ripping customers off. I was told that I had to do a minimal of a two day rental when I only needed one day. Then I wasn't able to get my day reimbursed when I returned the uhaul. Your company sucks as a whole. Everything I asked about the reimbursement I was told to call the 1-800 number. I went 15 miles and had to put 9.2 gallons of gas to fill the truck before returning the truck. Obviously, I did not really have a full tank when I picked up the truck. I was robbed.Alan B.
There was straw in the trailer but we cleaned it out and they actually took money off our rental for the inconvenience. That were such a friendly crew there and all so helpful especially Nefraatous ( can't remember how to spell it!! The vampire name)! The people at the Linden location were very nice and the equipment was fine. The only thing that would deter me from using your service in the future is the terrible website. I showed up to get my trailer and the entire system was down. This was very frustrating. He called me a couple hours later saying it was back up. I show up and get my trailer thinking for the inconvenience they would discount my trailer or something, there was nothing. and there was a big pack of blankets in the trailer I didn't ask for which I didn't appreciated because it was just in the way of me loading it up. Where they keep the trailers is pretty narrow space so trying to return and back up is not so easy.Luke L.

In the beginning we were extremely happy with the facility. We had no problem when our rate was raised from 54.99 to 59.99. We were annoyed at the immediate almost unstable $5 increase to 64.99. We were there on Thursday July 2 to check and see about placing a few of our boxes.. We were "yelled" at since it was already after 6 pm and we had not done "all the paperwork" yet. The store was open until 7. We had reserved the unit for Thursday, July 2. Since the unit had also "not been cleaned," we agreed to come back on Friday July 3. When we arrived the next morning, the unit had STILL not been swept and mopped. So the unit was WET when it was turned over to us. Cardboard and wet floors do not make a good mix. Our time was wasted waiting for the unit to be cleaned and the floor to dry so we could place our boxes in the unit. The unit should have been cleaned in a timely manner, maybe Wednesday?
