The gas tank read exactly half but the paperwork read 9/16. I was in a hurry so I didn't say anything. When I was finished moving it read 1/4 tank I put $50 in and got it barely to 1/2. I understand gas prices is like whoa but I feel $50 should have gotten me more than 1/4 tank. The brakes squealed with the slightest amount of pressure applied and while breaking and going downhill the engine would rev above 4000 rpms.renita marie S.

-pricing during scheduling did not align with final price. There was a mileage charge that never got figured during online scheduling. You should ask customer to estimate mileage. Even after mileage added there were other charge that drove me just over $100. Online scheduling showed $55. Other than this shady pricing my experience was strong. 4 out of 5 stars. 5 stars would be my final price aligning with estimate. Can't miss estimate by 100%. That's not acceptable.james M.

I gave a good review because of the great service from the men that helped me at this location for pick up and drop off. Other than that my experience with Uhaul was terrible. Please accommodate your customers better by actually allowing them To pick up at their preferred location that they chose when making a reservation. Please update your systems so customers don't have to go so far out of their way to use your services. As a Uhaul customer for many years, the last few times we have used Uhaul has been extremely disappointing. Customers should be notified well in advance if locations and or storage units aren't available after a customer has taken the time to properly plan their move and be prepared. Being notified in less than 24 hours is completely unacceptable. Once we got to the storage unit, pulled in and found our unit, saw the road was covered with ice. Kinda makes it hard to move a household with ice, large puddles and mud under your feet.KERRI F.

My rental was set up to be checked in on my phone so I could get in and get out. First off, the online experience tells me to go find my truck, and gives me a truck number. There is nothing to show or tell me where my truck is. I go to where the trucks usually are, and no truck. I then walk across the lot to the other lot across the street, which hasn't been salted or plowed and I immediately slip and fall down. I landed on my arm and side and it still hurts. I get back up and find my truck on the ice rink, then the online experience, tells me that I have to go back across the ice rink and inside the building to get my key. So I go to the counter and ask for my key. The guy says, I don't know why it gave you that truck, I ask if the dolly I ordered was in the truck, and he said no. I have to walk back across the street and through the ice sheet to get to my truck. Now on 2 separate occasions I mentioned that the ice was bad, needed to be taken care of, and that I fell... No response either time. The one guy was nice enough to brave the ice sheet and bring the dolly so I didn't have to go back for it, I appreciated that. I get in and the cab is muddy, normally I wouldn't care, but if I have to return it spotless, I should get it spotless. I go to close the driver door, and the door doesn't properly latch unless you slam it shut. I had had enough at this point, my in and out online experience turned into 25 minutes of nothing being ready, and a poor experience. When I went to return it, I started to use the online experience, but a really chill guy came over and checked me back in. He was really nice.Howard S.

Jim/Jake/and one other were very friendly. Rented a particular size unit months in advance however after flying in from out of state to get the storage unit rental they apparently only had one unit (smaller size) available (not sure of why Uhaul accepts reservations if units cannot be available). Jim was very understanding and helpful to ensure my fee was not greater than my reserved unit/fee but I did need to return when he was working to inquire about the adjustment because apparently the unit I was placed in was on the lower level thus more expensive despite being a smaller unit. I’ve seen chats/reviews with uhaul having similar situations where unit reserved was not available upon clients arrival (bad business model if I’m being honest) Second issue was corporate did not have my unit area programmed thus for my 3 day window to move my students dorm stuff into storage I was getting access denied when swiping in after hours and to no fault of their own the local staff could not fix as it needed to be programmed by headquarters in Arizona (ironically where I live) Overall I made due and had to work around my students finals week daytime schedule to make multiple trips to uhaul vs being able to do it through after hours access (because of above access denied). Apparently this was the only unit with this problem in the building Again staff was great, unit was clean (did have a rat trap in it but I assume that’s in all lower levels despite being indoors and in temperature controlled areas)? But the reservation business model/lack of contingency options for my not so unique situation I would have expected more from uhaul and honestly for the accommodations I (as the client) had to make just to make my situation work because of a uhaul issue. I appreciate the opportunity to voice my experience and hope it may have a positive impact for change for the next uhaul client that shows up to the desk in the same or similar situation. This storage was good except my stuff got a bit of mold as if water got on it possibly from upstairs when they mopped the floors. Light filtered through one section and that's where I found the moldy substance. I left a message but never got an answer. I couldn't get there in person to talk to a live person about it. We now have a bigger one more money with what we found as ponds in front of it filled with water after rain. We can't get out without one of us stepping into part of it. How do we load, unload without getting wet? Then there's the people who take over the isle with their dirt bikes, truck and little girls walking and playing around the dirt without shoes in their pajamas. Staff members were all very rude to me. The only time they were nice was when I was signing up. Then told me I had to buy a special lock From them and when I was walking around a lot of lockers had regular locks. The staff was polite however I explained that I needed a storage space to fit a 2 bedroom and what was going in it in detail. When i went to load the space it was extremely to small and the next day i had to go back pay addtl money and get a new space and was only given 2 addtl hours with the truck. I will most likely use a different storage company if needed again.
