You gave me a truck with a bad transmission We got stuck on the mountain on two different occasions trying to figure out what was wrong with it. We finally made it to our destination cuz we couldn't get through to you guys because you have like five people working phones could not get a hold of you why we're in the mountains stuck and I spent multiple hours on hold just to be told y'all are too busy at this time call back another time and when you would call me back I would put me back on hold and the same thing would happen. We were told the last bit of our stuff in our U-Haul that had to be moved to a different location just right down the street was to be removed out of the truck so we did only to find out that no y'all were going to tow the truck out so we had to pack it back up. You guys should be paying me at this point This lasted for over 13 hours And not being able to get in touch with y'all to be able to report there was a problem shame on y'all

Printed contract and electronic contract did not contain the same information. It did no good to call as there was never an answer at the facility. Wait time was exorbitant at the central routed location. My call was dropped and I did not get a call back, even though my contract was being reviewed and the receptionist had my phone number. I did not have the additional time to place another call and wait for the pickup.

Tha manager at the Sweeten Creek U haul was very efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Her facility is really nice and very clean. I also had a couple experiences with the young woman doing the cleaning maintenance and she was so pleasant and friendly. Top notch experience

I did not visit the U Haul facilities so can't comment directly on them, however the staff were all quite pleasant and helpful when called. Also communication before, during and after delivery of the U-boxes was excellent. The delivery of boxes to the destination location was delayed by a couple of days, but this turned out for the best due to rainy conditions that occurred at the original delivery date.

Although the Starting rate is supposedly $19.99 per day, just know that I rented a cargo van for 1 day. I had a 511 mile round trip and it ended up costing just over $300 for the day.

Note this was NOT my original pick up location. I was supposed to pick up from Marshall General Store at 7 AM using the Truck Share option. Somebody dropped the ball because when I got to the location that was not possible. I had to make the drive to this location instead which was extra time and made me late for the moving help I had lined up. That was the only negative part of my experience. Please let Marshall General Store know that is not acceptable if they are going to be your partner!

We had to wait about 5 minutes for a customer service agent. She was somewhere else on the property. Also, it was a little difficult getting out of the parking spot. The truck was angles away from the exit which made it difficult to back up.

The staff was very helpful. When I went to approve of the condition of the van before driving it, I did not realize that I could take photos and upload them. Possibly it mentioned this in the instructions of the email, and I did not read it. Overall I had a very good experience and again the staff was very Nice and helpful.

The mobile app is asexual. I have to log in at least three times to pick up or drop off. It took forever to get anyone to verify my info so I just stood outside for about 15 by the lock box waiting. Even went inside for help and they just shrugged and said have to wait. After all the waiting, no key in the lock box and had to go in for help anyways and the guy couldn't find the key.. I'm not sure after 3 rentals in less than a week I will ever use the mobile app again.

Please send separate texts about general information (Covid updates) and actual important information about change of pick up location. I had to drive over 20 miles to pick up and another 20 miles to drop off the van that I rented. It made a stressful move day, even longer and more stressful. I was not called about the change of pickup location from my requested location, and the text including that info, started with your request to complete online check in due to Covid.

The truck was not clean. It had trash and a dirty cup in it. All items were in the front console of the truck. They were easily noticeable.

I booked online and provided my credit card, then completed the rental online. Despite this, I had to wait more than 45 minutes in line. There was no apology, no explanation, no effort to accommodate those that had pre-booked online... just the expectation that we stand and wait. Completely unacceptable.

I moved from Phoenix to Asheville Sept 2020 and used the UHaul UBox. The majority of the experience with UHaul was amazing! Once I actually had the box, dropped it off, they drove it across country and stored it for a few weeks.. all amazing! SO MUCH stuff fit in that little box it was incredible! I did have movers pack mine, because they are Tetris wizards and know how to pack utilizing every little piece of space! The only issue I had was the fact that with UHaul you are not able to speak directly with the facility you're trying to reach to schedule to have your box delivered. All calls go through some centralized call center, so you either have to drive over there to talk to a person, or you have to sit on the phone for over 2 hours and be transferred to multiple people and get multiple different answers. I was fortunate enough to Finally get a rep who could tell I was exhausted with all of it and actually gave me the phone number for the facility. Done. Sorted. Easy. After that, dealing with the actual person at the facility (Rana in Asheville - ROCKSTAR!) was the most pleasant experience. Box delivered the day requested, picked up the following morning, super nice people who did the delivery and pickup. Thank you UHaul!

Open the store on time. I had a 9am Sunday morning pick-up scheduled, and the employees did not show up until after 940am. Next, the truck I was assigned would not start. Finally, the replacement truck printout showed a half tank of fuel, but the gas gauge was below empty when I started the vehicle. I was unsure I would even make it to a gas station. I took pictures and video of the gas gauge (before and after fueling), odometer and fuel receipt.

Uhaul destroyed my box and lost some items,no one called to let me know, then when I asked why it was wrapped in plastic, they said thats how they come, I cut the plastic wrap and door fell off on to ground, lots of damaged items, not a good experience

The U-Boxes arrived late to Asheville and the staff was incredibly unresponsive. I was finally able to arrange for getting the U-Boxes to the destination but at twice the price as the St. Louis location.

I hate hidden fees. Dropped off a tow trailer after hours, only to experience an "after hours" fee that I didn't know about. Staff was too busy to explain much of anything when I rented it. Wiring wasn't working properly on the trailer either.

The representative on duty was extremely patient and helpful during my visit. Though I arrived close to closing time and she was the only one on duty, she took her time explaining things to me, answering my questions, and showing me how to access my storage unit. She was very thorough in working with me, and did it all with a smile :)! Excellent customer service!

The clerk was extremely rude. She stated that it was UHAUL policy to call POC for each out of state license renter. Ended up having to give her my 71 year old moms number that she proceeded to call 7am in the morning. Also my mileage from this point to drop off was suppose to be 60 miles. After leaving the location I noticed my miles had been reduced to 46 miles. I ended up having to call 1800UHAUL to get it taken care of. I did feel racially targeted at this particular location and as A veteran and a loyal 20 year Uhaul client I was offended. She assumed I was using a DEBIT card instead of asking me like she had done the client before me. I had to let her know that I was using a CC. I know that this is not UHAUL way and have never been treated like this before. I will never recommend this location or return to it for future rentals.

Very disappointed not to be able to drop off at location I requested when I made reservation online. Instead was notified of different, entirely acceptable location on the other side of the county. Don't know how I would have gotten home from there!! Had to change plans with friends for transportation from this location. Would be good to confirm drop off during reservation; not afterwards.

I was told I could take the trailer to any location for return but that was not the case. It was pouring rain and I had to find this place which was way out of the way, had wanted to return the trailer to the location on swannanoa river road in Asheville but they refused, said no and told me I had to take it to the location on the reservation form, which I never selected.very much a pain and was not happy

Rana and her team have been great since day one. Always accommodating and helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. I had a storage unit here for 20 months with zero issues and always always helpful staff were on hand should I need it. I also rented a truck 4 times from them and no problems there either. I wish there was somewhere to leave recycling (cardboard and paper) without a charge to me but I would still highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The cost per storage room is extremely high. The cost of the unit should include basic insurance coverage, it is unreasonable to require additional insurance be purchased. It is also unreasonable to enforce a specific type of lock that has to be bought at the uhaul facility.

All of my boxes were delivered late. I did not receive my discount for the boxes late delivery. I was not contacted by anyone to schedule the delivery. While not an option, I did not actually visit.

My only complaint is not with the facility or staff but the fact that I was given the wrong address for the arrival of the U-Box when I placed the reservation. The staff here helped me locate it.
