I rented a 5x8 trailer yesterday from the Sweeten Creek location. Although they were very polite, I didn't get the feeling the two associates who worked with my friend and I were confident in what they were doing. When I told your employees that I'd be returning the trailer after hours, I was advised to return it in the equipment return lane. Problem #1. Problem #2: Nothing was mentioned about wheel blocks. I've never rented a trailer before so didn't think to ask certain questions that became pertinent upon returning the trailer. When we arrived at the facility at 10:30 pm, there were several vehicles lined up in the return lane, making it impossible to leave the trailer because the return lane is on an incline and we didn't know how to stop it from rolling once it was uncoupled from the car. So we pulled around to the front of the line in front of the entrance. Once here, we spent 40 minutes trying to get the ball jack uncoupled from the hitch, during which time I tweaked my back trying to lift the trailer arm. We thought we were doing everything right, but stopped to look up Youtube videos to confirm we were doing so. After a while, the only thing I could think of was the incline was enough to still put pressure from the hitch into the ball. So we reconnected the trailer and pulled it down to where the other trailers were parked which is a flat lot. Then we were able to disconnect the trailer easily and since it was on a flat lot didn't have to worry about the trailer rolling. I called the Sweeten Creek location this morning and spoke with a female employee who seemed to be a manager as she mentioned she would bring up this situation in the next meeting. Some critical feed back: when a customer calls and relates a story like this, it's ok to go off script and act like you actually care. I am in still in some considerable back pain and even without that aspect, I was recounting an extremely annoying customer experience. Also FYI, you need better lighting in the lot at night, it is a safety issue. Given how things stand at this moment, I will never use this location again.

Make more apparent the new verification step. Why doesn't it ask for these names and phone numbers when booking? Instead I was surprised at the counter. The express option also doesn't seem to be optional, rather an aggressive push of a labor cutting tool. Super pissed off that this "option" kept getting selected, even though I kept selecting and reflecting in person. I don't blame the office folks, this is Uhaul issue. I booked online to streamline and ran into surprises at the store that delayed my start time and made my move take a day longer. As I said, I'm super pissed. Compounding my irritation, the storage facility is not secure yet, it's a total mess with cords, ladders, equipment, locked up customer carts, workers who looked like they were scoping out every electronics box I rolled in. Then I find out it's nearly as expensive and no first months free like most every other, completely built and much nicer facility that also offers a free local truck, instead of a price gauging $90+ for a van for two days. Are you shooting to pay the vehicles off in less than a year? You have a lot of pluses, but this may be my last Uhaul experience. I feel ripped off.

Where do I start? Mariah was incredible throughout the whole process of obtaining the auto transport. She helped me by explaining how it worked, gave me tips on how to drive with it, and stayed with us the whole time to make sure my vehicle got on the auto transport itself. Thank you so much Mariah. RENTER BEWARE!!! A Uhaul rental fee should last for 24 hours, but this location will ask you how long you'll need the truck, and if you go over that estimated time, they'll charge you a second day's rental even if you've had the truck less than 24 hrs. My wife and I picked up the truck at 10:30 a.m.. We thought we'd be done moving by 2:00 p.m.. When we didn't return the truck until 9:00 p.m. that same day, they charged us a second $29.95. We disputed the charge through our credit card and got the money back. Still, **RENTER BEWARE**

Staff very friendly and professional. Long wait in the office to get the van. The van ran very well, but wasn't clean on the outside (blamed on recent cold weather). It was fairly clean on the inside. The change engine oil soon light was on the entire trip. I showed this to a staff member a few minutes after getting the van (I drove back to the location after driving about a half mile noting that the light stayed on and the dash board didn't show the mileage travelled). He checked the oil level and said the van was OK to drive. The van did drive very well the entire trip.

The easy check in was a joke not only did they not want to rent the truck to me it made me late on my move and I was there trying to rent the truck for over an hour. I will look into using another company next time.

The place I finally picked up trailer was good. Uhaul originally sent me to a body shop place with a trailer. They had NO IDEA I was scheduled for pickup. They had dozens of wrecked cars blocking and said would be hours to move. I WAS PISSED. Had to call for another location and they gave WRONG address, even when I had them SPELL STREET NAME OVER PHONE. NOW I'M REALLY PISSED. WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. Too many good competitors out there. If you dout me listen to the phone recordings.
