The only person there who seemed to be doing their job was James I believe his name was. Tall guy with long dreads. If he wasn’t there I wouldn’t have gotten any help. He made this whole experience a lot less stressful for me. BUT, he seemed to be the only one who cared. Definitely give him a raise because he deserves it. I suggest finding new staff other than him. He made the process of moving in and out stress free and actually listens to the customers.

Facility lighting needs to be updated as well as floors cleaned and resurfaced. Outside needs to be swept/sprayed down and equipment better managed as I had to move trailers myself to get access to the loading bay. Loading bay was not clean and not clear when I got in; could not back trailer completely in bay. Damon P | First ImpressionsAll of my items were ruined by water damage. This cost me thousands of dollars in damage to personal belongings. Staff told me they knew about existing leaks that affected other customers and did nothing to reach out or try and fix the issue. When I told staff what happened they seemed annoyed and did not care. Awful customer service, awful location, I will NEVER use U-Haul in any capacity again.

Jeff L | Overall ExperienceThe storage is fine. I reserved dollys for my truck and moving process. Had them reserved for over a week, I get there and there are no dollie’s. The man Zachary was of no help and could not figure out a solution even thought I promised those supplies. Then I pay for moving blankets and he does not provide me with them. I wasted over an hour talking to him and the only thing that went right that day was checking into the storage unit which I did by myself.

Chris R | Overall ExperienceWhen we emptied our storage unit we found some boxes were wet on the bottom, looked like it came from an adjoining unit. The staff were very helpful in giving me the info I would need to file a claim if anything was damaged. Each time I have interacted with the staff they have been friendly and helpful.
Nina E | Overall ExperienceIt was known that there were issues with rain leaking thru the roof and no one was notified! It wasn't until we went to our storage unit after a heavy rain that we saw water standing in our unit and on the hallway floor. Had to make a claim (which only paid pennies on the dollar) and the right thing to do would have been to offer refunds for the monthly rental. But not going to hold my breath on that one.

General manager waived fees and “fines” for other customers (friends) unethically and illegally that I know of. Very unprofessional. Will never use this location again.
JER-MAYNE W | Overall ExperienceStaff constantly found off the floor in a garage next door. Rarely seen someone at the counter. Manager is a complete JOKE. RARELY onsite and never returns phone calls. I had a billing dispute that went on for nearly a month in which I was billed TWO MONTHS ahead of time and was classified as being late. When I brought this to the manager's attention when I could finally find her at work, I was told yes, my bill was messed up. Just ignore it. Made NO effort to correct or assist in anyway and was mostly rude about it. I was receiving past due and lien notifications and late charges, I was told those came from Arizona. I FINALLY resolved the issue by going over her head to the District Manager in Spartanburg and her assistant took care of it in less than a minute. Would HIGHLY recommend reconsidering the manager's employment with U-Haul. Will question using U-Haul services ever again based on this experience. Worse U-Haul facility I ever dealt with and have used U-Haul multiple times over the years. Will advise others NOT to use this facility.

ty D | First ImpressionsThere seemed to be pretty bad communication between the customer service number and the local office. My storage unit was not ready when I arrived with my truck to move in.So I wallowed allowed to leave my stuff in the truck and to move in on a different day when my unit was ready. I was overcharged for a gas fee On the truck which was incorrect and then when I moved into the facility the re literally puddles of water everywhere because the ceiling was leaking in the facility. To be clear water was everywhere leaking in the climate controlled facility I also just received an email saying that there are outstanding charges for my transaction which is not accurate
