From the moment I called, spoke with John, to the time we picked up the truck, the interaction and transaction was very smooth. Friendly employees, clean location. I don’t live in the area, but if I know anyone who needs a rental in that area, this place will be recommended!

Manager John and the other young lady that was working both give me full attention getting hooked up and unhooked when I came back. What a beautiful office, storage and many types trucks and trailers to rent. Ocala location on Rt 200 is unbelievable

Very pleased with everything. Bought several packing/moving items. However I did not realize how antiquated the cab of the trucks were specifically, roll up windows,hand adjust outside mirrors,locking of doors and no cruise ctl. I am a solo driver with a dog and needed to stop at rest areas and go around to lock/unlock doors, adj windows etc . Otherwise truck drove fine!

The rental experience at pick up was excellent, drop off not so much. The woman working had attitude and no patience. The equipment was clean but the ramp was a nightmare to pull out and put in...very rough. Would recommend overall.

Database discrepancy between mileage/gas gauge level printed on the contract and the actual gas/mileage observed on the truck. The Uhaul Manager reprinted the contract with the correct amounts, so we're good. The air-conditioning on the truck was non-existent. Excellent equipment with excellent maintenance - keep up the good work!

Windshield was washed on the inside with damp cloth but not wiped dry. I had to rewash it down the road so I could better. Computers were down (corp problem) spent 30 minutes waiting to pick up unit. When I dropped off the vehicle at the end of the day system was still down.

Overall, this was one of the worst moving experiences of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I returned my truck on the same day I picked it up around 6-7 pm. I spent about 2 hours on the phone trying to get someone from UHAUL to actually answer the phone. I needed dropoff location info and what to do with the truck, keys etc. Eventually they answered the phone and told me what to do and there would be notes on my account and it all would be OK... As told by UHAUL, I dropped the truck off with appopriate gas, vacummed and placed the keys in the overnight dropbox. I called the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Southwest Ocala location first thing in the next morning to make sure they got the truck/keys etc. They said all was OK and then I got a $64.45 bill added to my credit card!!!!!!!!!! I have spoken to a few guys from your Ocala office location and was assured the charge would be removed. It still hasn't credited me back the money?? Please get back to me: Darrell Next stop will be Joe Shoen !!!!!!!

I rented a 10x20 when we got to the facility they gave us (2) 10x10. When we went to the office to explain that we needed a 10x20 they would not come to the door to see what the problem was. When I explained the problem, they would not do anything about it. We were forced to go to Istorage & rent another unit. I finally got moved & closed my account. They still have not even said they were sorry. I would not recommend this company. The failure to answer our knock that night cost me hundreds of dollars.

This is my second time in 2 weeks to rent a truck and cargo van. I was not disappointed once. The truck and van was sitting waiting for me to drive it. Didn’t have to wait and waste time. Always clean! Returns were very simple and didn’t take any time for me to leave with a receipt. I had not used all of my mileage and received credit for that. I can’t say enough outstanding comments for this location. John helped me the second time around. Very nice and accommodating. Don’t hesitate to rent from this UHaul. You will be very happy. No more finding out your rental was not available for you. I have had that happen from other business’.

Se necesita q haya mas comunicacion a la hora de poder entregar en cualquier locacion ya q asegun se podia entregar en otra q no fuera donde se alquilo el vehiculo y resulta q no q tenia q ser ahi, igualmente a una persona q vino de otro sitio lejos le hicieron lo mismo. Creo q UHaul es Uhaul en donde quiera.

We have rented U-Haul trucks before and this time we needed a storage unit. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The facility itself is great. The lighting is excellent to be able to see all the way into the storage unit. Having the rolling carts available to help move items in and out is so appreciated. It’s an excellent facility.

No electric outlet in storage unit - means no ability to run a floor fan when our "climate controlled" unit was not adequately climate-controlled. Also, no lighting within the unit made sorting through contents of our boxes made difficult and tiring. Staff great! Carts and hand trucks helpful. Probably would choose typical, ground access facility in the future for short-tme storage and need to work in the unit.

We are extremely pleased with everything about this storage facility! We would absolutely use it again and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a storage facility. It is super clean, well lit and secure, from the check-in process to the close out process it was very smooth. Customer service was excellent and employees all looked very happy to help and looked happy to be there. We also dropped our one way trailer off and also rented a local truck to use. The drop process was so easy and the pickup process was fast. The truck was very clean inside. A very well run facility!

Tori assisted me over the phone around 8am, was so beyond kind and helpful in a moment of conflict for me. She was supportive, showed empathy and was very instructive! Unit was too small for my 6'x12" Trailer. Had to bring alot back to my Air BNB. Could not squeeze one more item in. I do not understand how they think you can get a 6x12 FULL trailer into a 5x5 space?? Just CRAZY. NO WAY.

First time access to unit was annoying. 1- had no idea needed to go first to another key pad to register in before going to the ones next to access doors. 2- I was under the impression that storage units could be accessed 24/7 but that wasn't the case. 3- Access process is still kind of annoying.
