The rental went smoothly. We rented the U Haul Truck short notice and it was a very easy process. The guy at the pick up location was very helpful and friendly and I will come back to rent a truck again.

Cassandra HOverall terrible U-Haul experience. Tried to move my pickup location from 1 mile from my house to 20 miles away. When I tried to get closer they gave me a significantly larger truck (which was fine but inconvenient) and pickup was still 7 miles away. The additional miles pushed me over the miles I reserved for (since was not anticipating the extra) and was thus charged extra. In addition the check out staff over charged me by about 80 extra miles. We now have to call to sort that out. Overall this U-Haul experience add stress, inconvenience and a lot of additional time to the move.
Sarah EThe ONLY saving grace was one young woman who seemed to really care to do the best job she could. Everyone else working there was trash. I spent 30 min of my reservation trying to get out of the parking lot because the employees do not keep things in order. One older guy completely ignored me when I asked him to help me get the truck out because so many customers cars were parked in the truck lot. Never go to this location on a weekday morning.
CHRISTINA BFix your IT systemwide! We waited 1hour at the counter while the check in system kept going down. Apparently it happens every Saturday when the West Coast starts logging in.

Steven TWhen we got in the truck I got a text message saying I need to take photos of the truck and liscence and go to an ap and download. I was not told I would need to do it. it's takes time which we had not accounted for; it ask me to give permission for some use of my phone which I do not want to do; it was difficult using the ap as it said the it could not download the phone, I think having to do with my settings on the phone which I had not intention of looking for it and changing. I went back to the office to ask about it and luckily the person at the counter said my photos were good enough as I would have them if needed. There is no reason to ask people to do all this, it felt intrusive. I had already done enough computer etc. Taking the photos is fine but all the rest is too much,

Walter LAs soon as we pulled into the lot 6 men came in and attempted to intimidate us into hiring them to help with the move. The actual worker at the U-Haul office did not come out to help us for some minutes, and we had to go in and wait for the two workers to finish their conversation about their weekend plans before they acknowledged us. It felt like they were doing me a favor by doing their job. The 6 men who surrounded our car and van did not work for U-Haul (they did not have official shirts) but shook the hand of the man working at the U-Haul and appeared to be working with him unofficially. It was extremely frightening and made us very uncomfortable. They circled the cars and tried to look into the windows and get as close to our group as possible. They got physically close to our 2 vehicles and even appeared to try to get into the U-Haul van. I was both afraid for the safety of my family and the safety of my items. I would not wish this U-Haul location on my worst enemy. I felt unsafe and will not return to that location ever again. I do not understand why the workers allow these men to enter the lot and intimidate customers. We were approached on all sides and swarmed in a way that felt practiced. I am sure this happens to customers of this location regularly since the worker recognized these men, and I do not think it is safe for women to go to this U-Haul location.

ALVIN DU-Haul and the Manager at the location really helped lower the stress level for my move. All equipment was has promised and the Team was very helpful and communicated all information ahead of time.
TONY PTT4577 is the WORST equipment ever! The is steering wheel is totally misaligned hauling the truck to the right. The front tires are as bald as my uncle Joe! Terrible. I hope to get better equipment next time because I get trucks at this location at least twice a month.
Fred RI rented this for 24 hours and then I got a second bill for several weeks. Now I need to waste my time fighting the bill.

Aryeh dWe reserved a van because we needed the lower height to fit in our condo garage. But when we got there there were no vans and we were forced to take a truck. Since we were unable to fit in the garage where our items to be moved were in a garage storage unit, we needed to load items to an suv and make trips to the street where we had to park the U-Haul. It was more time and effort and very frustrating. And the truck was almost out of gas so we had to get gas right away.

Shelvia MThe location is very convenient. The staffing is too low for the amount of customers. The wait in line is too too long. I used the app which was a disaster. It wouldn’t take my responses and took an extra 30 minutes. When I went into the store to get help, the SAME people were in line as when I stepped out to use the app. Also, there’s no wifi in the store and the phone signal was too weak for the app so I had to step out of line and go outside to bring it up on the phone. The store itself is neat and clean and the trucks are in good condition.
