Accept more payment options or have atm at location. Many people use online banking only and cards are not being accepted by uhaul. So you have to drive to an atm to get cash. Then you have to pay a higher amount then get differance back when returning. Which mean you cant drop it off while they are closed. So you have to either make separate trip to get money back or loose it.JEREMY K.

I used this Uhaul for a corporate lease thru Fedex. I had 2 billing issues where I was over charged thousands of dollars. The last one was for $8200! I am enrolled in auto billing and only had one rental. I was told my money could not be refunded until the vehicle was returned to uhaul and they closed my account. I have since been arguing still to receive the fullness of my money back to me. This was all error on Uhaul corporate part and I have had to argue thru this entire process. I am very ashamed to do business with the Uhaul company.JSD Express D.

Counter staff rude and unwilling to help. Explained the size i needed and they forced me to get a smaller truck because they refused to see if other nearby uhauls had the size i needed. The employees were rude my reservation was messes up at the rome location so I was then made to pick up a truck 20 minutes away to drive it back then to where I was moving to. When I took the truck back to inquire about my refund I was given attitude because I wanted to be compensated for the unnecessary miles I had to drive. I will not come to the utica location ever again and not only was that the issue the truck drove horribly the steering wheel shook when u went over 40 mph. They didn't want to hear about that either. I recommend that when you rent something check your mileage and make sure they give you the truck that you paid for I rented a truck with 10,000 miles on it when my truck was only $8,200 miles on it and it had to use a major credit card because it was a small truck then I was told I had to wait outside in the dark in a city I have never been in.. they could have let me wait inside 10-15 minutes before my ride come to get me I froze , my ride got lost and I ended up being outside for over an hour scaredLISAL K.

The only issue was I scheduled this installation online and there was a issue with parts. The person said there has been an issue with online orders. I would suggest reviewing online orders before the date of service and inform costumers of any issues before they drive to the appointment.Dennis M B.

When I went to pay my bill the young lady took almost 15 minutes on the computer I am very upset that whoever checked me out put the insurance on the truck for $14.95 I did not nor was I asked if I wanted it they just put it there I thought that was very disrespectful I asked the woman to take it off and give me my money back but she said she couldn't I rent from you at least once or twice a week but this was a totally bad experience first of my storage unit is at LamondPl. in Utica and that's where I rent my truck I was informed the day before to pick up on the oriskany Boulevard because they didn't have a truck for me which meant that I had to drive back-and-forth to go to my storage unit at lamound place I would appreciate my money back for something that I didn't ask for thank you for your timeFRANK M R.

Although, the rule of thumb is the customer first absolute BULLSHIT with U-Haul! Sometimes moving gets to be a bit rough and time passes quickly I rented a van that needed to be back by 2pm or I would be charged another day....with that said I was 10 minutes late and could not clean the cargo so I was charged $104.00 no WARNING!! THEREFORE I WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN!!!BERNARDBELGIUM G.

Dear U-Haul, I am clarifying a few things. I came with a driver today. I am the one who chose to rent the trailer, who needed the service, who made the reservation, who showed up in person. My driver drove for me. It was my choice, my need, my business, and I paid for it. That I made clear in all the communications that transpired, from the initial phone call for the reservation to being in person at the West Utica U-Haul desk. Please reissue another receipt for my records. Also, I was repeatedly addressed as 'Dear' by the employee filling out the contract on the computer.when he asked for the necessary information. And this kind of behavior is consistent with the automatic assumption that Mr. Hastings is the customer and that his name should be on the contract/receipt. Please fix all of it. Thank you. Even though the site was open, check-in through the uhaul website was not permitted to begin prior to 9 AM when my rental period began. This took 20 minutes and ate into the time that I was supposed to have the van available to me, which I'm sure is intentional. Checking in through the website was a pain, with numerous pages to have to go through. I had to view little pictures on my phone to see if they matched up to the images of the van in front of me. Even though I selected self check out I still then had to go in and work with an associate so I'm not sure what the point of that process was. The associate took my phone out of my hand and begin pressing buttons and agreeing to things on the uhaul website that I did not view. The van I was given was not the van that I selected to rent through the website.Colleen M.

The lock was not inside the unit as was written in my confirmation. The access code provided was incorrect. (They only use 4 digits not 5). The front desk helped me on that issue. Then I found the unit but it had a Zip tie in the slide that was difficult to break as I don’t carry a knife with me.
