To be honest, this experience was not good for me. I reserved my Uhaul for Sunday at 7pm. I was unable to perform the self-checkout, spoke to 3 representatives, was on the phone for 1 hour...which didn't help. At the end, I had to leave the station and reschedule for Monday morning 7am to pick it up in person. Not only was that very cumbersome for my schedule, wasted a lot of time and driving, it for sure increased my costs as well. Basically, both my app and login as guest never found my order; while the representative and I had the order number. This prevented me from moving forward at my scheduled order time. This is the only reason for my poor rating. The truck and the staff at the location itself were fine and my poor rating is not reflective of their work. Thank you, ThomasTHOMAS K.

Had problem with mobile access process. Lock wouldn't open and needed assistance. The Customer service rep on duty was rude, unprofessional and not very helpful. When I told him that I had people waiting for me to help move and ask if can get another truck he told me I could either wait until he had time to deal with it or just leave. No sense of urgency or concern. By the way someone else had the same problem and was treated the same way. The truck itself had a very temperamental ignition, took some effort each time to turn key to point that left on as afraid I wouldn't get to start. It worked but certainly wasn't comfortable when I forgot to leave on and had to start up again.Gerard C.

This is the worst location that you can go to. I had to wait over 20 minutes to drop my rental and then they said that I would get a receipt by email in 10 mins. But noâ€¦.what happened they processed my return vehicle 2 hours later and charged my an extra day being that I returned it 30 minutes before the due time, plus they charged me 20 for after hours service fee for no reason. The previous day I had gone personally to extend my rental another day for 1 of two of my equipment, waited there for almost 2 hours, neither the employees or a manager were able to do it. Eventually all had been extended another day. Everytime I call them there is at least a 10 min wait until someone answers the phone. And when they did( me trying to get refund for wrong charges) the guy puts me on hold for 20 minutes then hangs on me. I finally decided to contact the headquarters customer service and they did refund me $100.44 that they wrongly charged me, unbelievable how incompetent and unprofessional these people are. They should hire someone that lives their job and appreciates being paid and gives a good customer service. It is very sad it was not this way a few years ago when I used them. Hopefully I don't have the need to use uhaul in white plains again. Shame on them!!!Delfino R.

The guy that took the rental was very rude and spoke to us in a very threatening tone of voice. He almost suggested to unhook it ourselves. as first timers we could not back up trailer and his comments were not necessary. We had to remind him we were the customers and to please calm down.Agustin M.

Make sure when returning your unit, that you and the U-Haul employee are aware of the amount of fuel in the unit. We went to the gas station before returning the truck to ensure 1/4 was in. We returned the unit thinking everything was OK by just placing it in line with the other trucks and leaving the keys in the cup holder (as the U-Haul employee told us to do it). To our surprise, we received an additional fee since the tank was between 1/8 to 1/4. We already left that location to another state so there is no point of going back and trying to reconcile information, but what a bummer :(Anselm S.

Kiddos to Anny M.!!! Awesome employee. Like every U-Haul I've been to, the location goes from dead to super busy in 10 seconds and proper staffing is understandably difficult to manage. On my two visits here, not only did it become extremely busy all of a sudden, there was literally a difficult customer and another, likely schizophrenic, man carrying on about his life of being under surveillance by foreigners and the FBI. Despite the chaos, Anny was very professional, courteous, and friendly, both behind the counter and when handling the equipment. Anny kept calm and just took care of everything, including de-escalating/calming the difficult customer in front of me. I had a most pleasant experience talking to Anny. I hope U-Haul recognizes and rewards this kind of work-ethic and general demeanor.Behich M.

Took forever to get the truck. The customer in front of me, they couldn't find the keys to their truck. The delay made me late. The truck had ashes in the ash tray. It wreaked of weed. The inside of that windshield hasn't been cleaned in ages. The truck was obviously not cleaned recently and in this day and time is troubling. I described it as being in a Motel room that had been used by dozens of people and not cleaned.ERICR L.

Three things happened with my reservation. 1) I have reserved the furniture dolly which wasn't available at time of my pick up. I have to buy brand new one to finish my move. 2) The gas was below the quarter tank but the reading said it is above the quarter tank. 3) Finally, this is most important thing. I rented the one way truck and I filled the full gas tank, just wanted to feel safe and not to stop in between and by the time I reach my destination the gas level is close to three quarters of tank. I lost close to 12 gallons of money. I Know it is written in the contract that UHAUL is not responsible for the extra gas but there is some clause for these kind of situations. I called customer service and they were not responsive as well as they were referring back to the contract. I feel if this is the case may be you should the low gas charge as well to make it right for the customers. Apart from the above three, every thing else went fine with my reservation and truck was good as well. I hope UHAUL will make some kind adjustments to the contract in future to help customers.PRUDHVI C.

With the new unit, I found some garbage on the floor and it is against the wall of the building and paint was chipping. I still went with unit because it is a little more space for me to go through/organize my stuff & I don't have to climb (It's ground level).... :"t's complicated" at home. My only comment about the facility itself was I wish it had more climate control. There is another self-storage location about a 7 min walk from this U-Haul but I had a bad experience with them before they changed hands.
