The only thing that Uhaul can improve is the waittime when calling. There had been a propane leak at the site the day we had scheduled to pick up our truck. The general manager and field manager were great about reassuring us we'd get our truck once the fire department allowed them back in, even if it were after closing time. They called us as soon as they got the ok and discounted our reservation because of the delay—-it was a few hours—-but clearly not their fault. Class act in my book!

When I first got my box, the York location forgot multiple boxes and I had to pay to get the rest shipped because by the end it was full. They were supposed to be here at 10, and came at 2. I had to schedule junk removers around them and they were so late they were there at the same time. They didn't follow covid procedures. The staff at the Burlington location was great. I called for 7 days multiple times a day and I could only reach them once. I had my desk and a lamp broken, the door of my ubox broke off during shipping. Not the Burlington's locations fault. All of our boxes had mouse feces covering all of our stuff. I canceled my moving help because they said they would ship it to my door, the day if they said they couldn't do it. So the manager brought it to me off the clock. Which was sweet.

Windshield needs cleaning on inside. Trailer tire hold down straps should have metal end or be tapered to allow easier insertion into ratchet when straps are frayed.

Used Uhaul since it was open Sunday. Rental worked fine, reps at location were adequate, but not very positive in interactions. Very disappointed we returned with a full tank of gas after taking with 1/4 tank and received NO CREDIT. Had we returned it with a 1/4 tank after taking it full, you would have charged us a premium to fill. Will avoid Uhaul rentals as a result.

They were short staffed -- the staff present was over worked and working as hard as he could to help people but having to run outside to hook trailers up and then return to start the next customer just ended up with a LONG line. The trailer we rented was returned dirty and they had no time to power wash it before renting it out again.

The man who waited on me was rude not helpfull at all would not take my license had to use a link to download it. Brought me out and pointed to my truck and left . Was the wrong truck found the right one on my own.Truck was dirty had not been cleaned or swept out. There was a hand truck in the back that I did not rent.

Older and smaller location. Complete opposite of Naugatuck CT pick up location. Only one person working when dropped off on Saturday at approximately 10:00 am. Had to wait 30 min. for "okay" as I had pre-paid. It is a convenient location though.

Not with out making sure they verify the mileage on the truck prior to leaving the lot. My fault for not doing so myself and verifying it against the contract. The first vehicle they assigned to me was blocked in by two other vehicles. The person who initially gave me the truck did not verify the mileage on the vehicle. I ended up being charged for an extra 100 miles. I drove from Burlington ton, VT to Morrisville, VT by to Rathe rd, Colchester and the back to Riverside Ave to turn the truck back in. That does not add p to 202 miles. I only had the truck for 4 hrs. Lesson learned I guess since I can't prove it.

If you don't know how to use your phone because you just got it it's a straight nightmare it took me over an hour to get adjust a trailer to use my bike to transport it I rented it for 6 hours I only got to use it for two hours or they were going to charge me more for using it the worst experience I've ever had in my life I wouldn't recommend anybody to ever go there they wouldn't help me with my phone taking a picture of my ID and then trying to scan it I kept telling them I don't know how to use the phone to do that and they just kept asking me the same questions over and over I will straight Joe and I feel like a straight ripped off I've been running it for 6 hours and I can only use it for 2 they said and then I had to bring it back really it was only supposed to be $14 and then they charge me 25 to use it for 2 hours never again

Emailed receipt will not load, had to travel further away to pick up a uhaul van, required payments were not clear. Should have deducted the miles to the closer uhaul site since the closer office was closed.

I forgot to advise that the truck I used is in need of new windshield wipers! I could not see using them when raining. All other equipment on the truck is fine.

You must increase staffing. Due to only one associate working, I waited atleast 30 minutes to simply pick up a truck that was there and ready for me. Pandemic or not, this is unacceptable for any customer.

You overcharged me, charged me for gas when I returned it full, had charges not reflected in the receipt, tried to charge me for multiple vehicles and didn't have the vehicle I reserved even after calling to tell me it was ready. I hope word gets out about your crap business, you should be ashamed!!!

I reserved and paid for 2 dollies. They were not in the truck. I had opted for contactless pick up through the app but my truck was boxed in when I arrived so I had to go in. The office was understaffed.

Rented a Chevy pickup truck for towing. The employees at the store in Burlington VT were very helpful and truck was in top condition. I will do business there again for sure.

They didn't give me a trailer and I have called and stopped in and still have not been refunded. And then they charged me for gas even though they never gave me trailer.

On pick up and drop off there was only one person walking. I was treated kindly but the wait was longer then needed

Well we started out by renting a trailer from Hookset. It was cancelled by haul at 730 pm the night before we were picking up. We were put in contact with the supervision who was extremely rude and hung up on us right at 8Pm the end of her shift. We then reserved a trailer at Barre Vermont and was on our way to get when 10 minutes out called and there was no trailer there. We got very lucky and found one in Burlington 30 min before we were to pick up vehicle. As for customer service I would not recommend u-haul for any of your needs and will never use again.

The general manager Jordain, had to do some repair work on my light connection to the trailer. He remained calm, courteous competent even though it was a Friday evening and it was raining heavily. I would like to warmly recommend him

The only drawback to this location is the lack of physical space - but that's not an issue that can be addressed by the staff. The trailer was ready on time, checkout fast, and return easy.

Check in process was quick. I was in my rental truck and on my way in 10 minutes. Was met in the parking lot as soon as I returned to the dealer. After a couple questions I turned over the keys and was on my way. Less than 5 minutes this time, Great service!!!

The boxes I'd reserved were not there when I needed them, but Jordain Williams went above and beyond to go over to Plattsburg to pick up the 3rd one for me. D's Transit solutions packed the boxes for me and did a poor job - several boxes were crushed, a piece of heirloom china was broken, and fragile items were packed under heavy boxes. They also left a piece of furniture out in the rain while they went to get the second UBox, but gave me a discount when I complained.

At pick up of vehicle paper work read that fuel tank was full. After starting vehicle noticed that fuel gauge was reading below full mark and fuel tank had not been full as stated. Should receive some credit for not having completely full tank of fuel.

Our truck the Ford F-150 was filthy inside i had to clean out the back of the drivers seat just to be driving down the road and a mouse running up my leg we almost crashed U-Haul doesn't clean there vehicles out i will never rent a truck from them again with out inspecting it not to mention the worker was flat out rude and disrespectful on his phone canceled my reservation and told me i have to do it in person where the price went up 37.32 in price U-Haul CLEAN YOUR TRUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took over an hour to pick up the truck I rented even with having done the truck share and paid ahead of time. And then when I opened the back of the truck I had to go find an associate again, because there was no dolly like I paid for.

No one at the outside dropoff area. Had to go inside and wait for 25 minutes while personnel dealt with a really annoying customer, before discovering that all I had to do was hand them the key. Would greatly help if personnel could check with everyone who comes in the door briefly to determine what they needed - if it's just a dropoff, then the customer doesn't have to wait. I could have saved 25 minutes of useless needless waiting. .

I thought this was a joke because the actual directions were so messed up. I've spent the past 2 days arguing with U-Haul about bills, and now you send me something that resolves the issue, in survey form. You gotta have a flag in your system that just says "stop sending automated anything, manage this one personally". That's real messed up.

Facility needs to be more organized. I was scheduled to pick up on Sunday 9/20 but the box was not ready and the only trained employee was off. I obtain the box but when i got home it was an empty ox. I had furniture stored there for one year. After searching the correct box was located.

Have more than one staff on a busy Saturday morning. Provide the correct key for the correct vehicle. Clean the interior of the cab, even once a month would be an improvement. Provide the truck with fuel in it. Even and 1/8 tank would be appreciated.
