The 20' truck we rented leaked during a snow storm and ruined some art work we had carefully wrapped against breakage with blankets. I recommend inquiring about and defending against leakage.

Staff was very accomodating, helped me adjust my reservation when i booked in the wrong location. We used a 26 ft truck and would recommend doing this vs. hiring a moving company. We hired moving help through the reservation process on Uhaul.com and they were also great! Well done all around. Very satisfied Uhaul customer!

The uhaul store people in Ohio and in VT where great. The people contracted to deliver and load the box in Ohio never showed up nor called to cancel.

Being able to rent a van for a day saved us a bunch when we bought a floor model washer from Costco - they don't deliver those so we had to get it home on our own! And, with a little help from friends, and the appliance dolly and the pads, we did!

Why the fuel tank wouldn't be filled at the beginning of rental is beyond me... Seems like they want to be able to charge just that little bit more cause the level wasn't back at ?. The chart they give obviously isn't accurate. Only complaint I have!

Entrance was all ice and dangerous, i can't remember the name but i think it was Aaron who put the trailer on the vehicle and i asked him if the lights were good and he said yep your all set, We checked them in the lot before leaving and the LR stop and turn was not working and i went back in and asked how he checked them and come to find out he did not, just simply lied to me. I now question the safety concern this U-Haul location offers?

It's annoying to have only a quarter tank of gas in a truck that big upon pick-up. As soon as you get on the road, you have to stop at a station.

Have your store clerk do a walk-around of the truck with the customer and make sure the customer understands the truck controls inside and out. When I asked for assistance, with no customers waiting, it was met with "We don't do that. It's just like a Ford pick-up truck inside." Good to know if in fact I had ever driven a Ford truck before....not. Otherwise, store clerk was very helpful.

The truck ride was excellent The cargo area of the truck was clean and easy to use The cab of the truck doors and under the seat was trashy/sticky with stuff from previous moves - didn't need the two kids toys or the army man stuck inside the pocket on the door

Pickup 1-13 2.30 Drop off 1-16 12.48 3 days but charged for 4 days. Even the environmental fee says 3.00 I also did get the 17' truck I ordered I got a 26' which cost me even more, I would like to claim the $50 reservation guarantee to make up for the extra $95 I had to pay because it wasn't available, thanks for your assistance, -Michael

U-Haul employee met us in front of store before we even got out of the vehicle. He disconnected our rented trailer within a minute, checked it out, and we were on our way. He was friendly and provided great service.

I live in Milton, Vermont and tried to rent a truck there and was told I could not. I was told the only place I could rent the truck was in Burlington which is 15 miles away. When I returned the truck I had to pay extra as I went 15 miles over! I should not have been charged the fee as it was not my fault I could not get the truck in the town I live. I felt taken advantage of.

When I returned the van, I never even went in. I was asked if an email receipt was fine and I said okay. I have yet to receive the receipt or a credit on my initial deposit. I drove less than the estimated amount so I am expecting a refund.

I just needed the van for an hour to run some errands but I was absolutely blown away by how nice the van was. There was so much space in the back and loads of great features in the cabin. I ended up loading the van with all my belongings and putting them in storage just because I was in disbelief that the van really offered that much space. So now here I am in an empty apartment with no clothes or furniture, but at least I had the pleasure of driving such an awesome vehicle!

A very convenient solution. The biggest issue is the U-Box computer reservation system. It is slow, and does not seem easy for the employees to navigate through.
