I went to get my truck and one of your employees had his dog in the the cab of the truck I was renting. The whole time I was in the truck I couldn't stop itching. Great service in Burlington! However, our original pick up location was Morrisville, VT. When we went to pick up our truck, we were informed that they didn't have one for us. Ultimately one was found in Burlington but it forced us to drive 1 1/2 hours each way to get the truck, and compromised our timeline.Rand E.
When I first arrived there was only one person at the counter and four customers in the store. The other employees were working in the yard. Two more came in and processed the waiting customers. I was lucky enough to work with Nathaniel (retired Marine). Nathaniel is very knowledgeable, has great customer service skills, and most importantly - he works hard and does his job well. This guy acts like a new owner working to establish a positive image for his business.barry B.
The initial truck they tried to give me was having a problem with connecting to the trailer. Seems a fuse out was causing the turn signals on the trailer to not work. So they had to switch out trucks quickly. The "backup" truck they gave me was on empty so I had to fill it as soon as I took it. The "oil change needed" popup kept coming up on the dash and the front passenger tire had a slow leak (a couple pounds low when I took it and 12 pounds low the morning I returned it, I had to stop and put air in it). The truck didn't appear to have been cleaned either. I've rented from this location a couple of times now and the staff is kind and welcoming. But this last time was a bit of a s-show. Especially with COVID concerns please do not give people dirty trucks.Scott A.

It was a really busy weekend for this location because of college move in day, but both days on the weekend we were very pleased with the level of service. We rented a van on Saturday afternoon and my truck and mover help on Sunday. Bryant was especially helpful on Sunday morning. He gives exemplary service with a smile and attention to detail! He opened the door 30 minutes early to accommodate the few people who were there early. Kudos to your team for helping make the dreaded move a little more bearable!!MICHELLE L.

Didn't receive my hitch on time. Ended up leaving late. They attached the car poorly causing the wire and chains to drag making it so I couldn't make it to my hotel in the next city because I was driving in the dark without light. The hotel was unable to refund.Jack M.

These folks were very helpful. WHAT WAS NOT HELPFUL WAS THE 1.5 HOURS I SPENT ON THE PHONE WITH UHAUL FAILING TO GET THEM TO CHANGE THE DROP-OFF LOCATION. The man in Burlington succeeded in about 2 minutes.JOSHUA L.
Our van had a terrible smell. When we picked it up it has 3/4 of a tank of gas. We returned it with 3/4 tank, but was charge for not filling it. We also dropped it off before 9am on Sunday and was charged $20COURTNEY R.

We picked up a box in VT on time and it was damaged. There was no other alternative so we had to take it. The box was not delivered to the right location and was not there when the Moving Help people were supposed to pick it up. I wouldn't have known this if I didn't call to find out why it hadn't been delivered on time. I asked to have it ready for pick up at the location it was at that evening and it was not ready when the Moving Help people went to retrieve it. It was not ready 2 days later when the Moving Help people went back to try and pick it up again. My issue was forwarded to 2 of the managers via email and I never received a call or email back. When it was finally delivered to me, my stuff was wet and covered in soot. I had to wash all the clothing in the box and wipe down everything else. Luckily nothing was permanently damaged, but the experience was atrocious. I personally tried emailing the manager of the location after the fact and was never responded to.Allyson N.
Customer service: no estimated wait times so had to keep my entire day open to accommodate a 30 minute install. They do not accept phone calls, over dozens of attempts never spoke to a person.Harrison G.
The best thing that you all could do is to make it possible for their customers to call that location directly. Being on hold for 45 minutes to 1 hour, even when you tap the button that says you are outside waiting, it's ridiculous. My biggest complaint is that I was told the parts were not in and I should cancel. Fortunately, a text was put in to the GM of Burlington U-Haul and he called me. I appreciate that. When I arrived however, I was told that there is no waiting area for me to sit and not even the chair that I could take out to put on a small green patch of grass. It was raining and I am 65 years old with a heart condition. There's not much to do along a busy highway except standing in the rain and that's what they expected of me. The actual work performed seems to be very good, but more consideration has to be given to U-Haul's customers all the way around.grace F.

Jordane and his crew on Riverside Ave are the best truck-rental team we have ever used. The operation is run very efficiently from check-in to return. Truck was sparkling clean and well-maintained. Hire more staff. Improve your communication systems such as phone access and web. If you are taking a reservation and confirming with a reservation or order number....make sure that reservation gets tied to the clients on line account. Develop practices that improve customer service.Robbin L.

The pickup process was easy but seemed rushed and I was the only one in there. Your app for return needs work. How do take a picture saying it's not clean when I pick it up so obviously it's not clean when I drop it off but I get charged a cleaning fee because of someone else's garbage!? Have all hitch parts available. They did not have the ball tongue or ball for the hitch the put on. Yet it was ordered on line several weeks before. They gave me credit but, Now I have to order elsewhere and wait for delivery. Not efficient management of order. Did not offer to order for me. Poor overall service.Allen K.

I hired a crew from your recommendations. They showed up an hour late, then left me with the truck to unload to get to a second job. So I had to hire a second team to onload the truck which of course doubled the cost. There is no way in hell I would recommend this to anyone. If and when I move again you can be assured I will hire a full service mover. Less stress, and it would have saved me considerable time and money.Dan H.
I was charged a cleaning fee which almost doubled the price of my rental. There was nothing left in the vehicle, I cleaned everything out. I have also tried to call several times to dispute the fee and they do not answer.sophie J.
I reserved a 10 foot truck, and the only one they had when I arrived was a 15 foot truck, which was larger than I needed, and far larger than I wanted to drive. I was not told this prior to my arrival and had no chance to try to locate a more manageable vehicle. I asked for packing blankets, which were not supplied (and I didn't notice until I left with the vehicle). The vehicle was new, but I did not enjoy driving it as it was far too large for the purpose I rented it (transporting kayaks for a camping trip).LISA L.
