Provide the weekday rates Monday through Friday instead of Monday through Thursday. It's a real burden for me to pay extra to rent a truck on Friday and have to pay weekend rates during the week.Stephenie S.

This location and the staff were great and very helpful. The U-haul app however was completely useless. It took 4 times longer to check in via app than walking in the store would have been, and I had to do that anyway to get the keys. Returning was worse since I had to take pictures of the dash that the app would not upload. Walked in the store and started to explain and he said "no worries" asked if everything was good with the vehicle and sent me on my merry way.Sydney A.

When I arrived to pick up my van the clerk was outside smoking, he told me, "I will be with you in a minute." He did do a nice job explaining my contract. When I returned my van the after hours key holder was broken. I tried for at least 15 minutes fix. The building was locked. Finally a clerk came out of the building. Very frustrating.Carole S.

I've always received my final invoice in my email inbox. Because I rent cargo vans involved with my business, the emailed receipt is used to record this particular expense. This did not happen at my last rental and after being on hold for a long time, I needed to drive down to the store to what I thought would be finally getting that receipt. Though the customer service rep said that finally did record me returning the vehicle, nearly 12 hours later, this has yet to happen.MARK M.

When we arrived to pick up the rental 2 employees walked right past us headed outside. We assumed they were going to help another customer so we went in to wait our turn. We waited about 10 minutes and no one came back inside. I went out to see if there was anyone who could help us and the employee was just standing outside smoking. We were on a timeline so it was frustrating that 2 people walked outside, right past us going in and neither of them thought to check in on us and make sure we were being helped before taking a break. I fully understand that there is a huge shortage of staff everywhere but it's incredibly irresponsible to take a break before checking to make sure customers are being helped. This is also not the first time I have stood around inside waiting to be helped and after a long wait had to go looking for someone to help me.Johanna B.
The entire process was very smooth. I used the app to check in and it walked me through everything step by step in order to pick up the keys for the truck we rented and I was very impressed with how smoothly it went. Ten out of ten would do it again!Joseph P.
Its been a long year, a long week for me, and a very long day moving beda and box springs by myself. Im five feet tall and almost 60 years old. I brought the truck back just in time, pulled into the lot at 6:57, parked, got to the door at 6:59 probablyâ€¦ and The agent locked the door in my face. A little courtesy, customer service, and compassion would have been nice. I get it, people work a long day and want to get home but what would've taken him 3 minutes took me 40, with forgotten passwords, resets, etc. Really ruined my night.PAMELA M.

The location and rental were absolutely filthy. The young kid at the front counter who helped with the pickup process was polite and professional. However, the employee we encountered when entering the lot (apparently through the wrong entrance, though not marked in ANY way) was extremely rude and condescending. The website, would not allow me to move past the location services for either check in or check out no matter which browser settings were changed or turned on. Overall, it was like any other experience at uhaul I've ever hadâ€¦.salvaged only by one decent employee, and the only reason I ever use this business again is because they are the only truck rentals in the area.AMANDA Q.

Add on items are overpriced, as is the mileage charge. I locked myself out and went online as directed to do to report the lockout. I waited over 2 hours before someone got back to me and let me know they would be here soon. At that point I had called someone else to get the vehicle unlocked. They responded and were here within 20 minutes. You need to streamline the online process.Steve R.

This is the first time we had a negative experience at Riverside. We had a 9 am reservation and arrived at 8:50. We waited in line ONE HOUR to get our truck key. You should stagger the pick up times if you can't staff the front desk. The employee was very pleasant and thorough but there were just too many people picking up at once. This has never happened here before so we did not do the phone check-in.Cynthia M.
Arrived at 9am for my 9am reservation. There were 6 people in line ahead of me. As I waited, the line continued to grow, by the time I left there was at least another 8 customers in line. There was one rental agent. He was outstanding!!! He was calm, and treated every customer in a professional manner. They screwed me over. I requested to add on 2 extra days to my trip. He said he was past that section but would change it afterwards. Charged me 40 bucks for the extra days and told me to just ass on 2 days to the date in my contract. I get a call on the 16 from my drop off center claiming i was late returning the equipment. Yet in reality I had a whole nother day. If he actually added the days like i got charged I would not have gotten the notice. I'm lividNicole H.

Please don't ever assign my pickup rental to the one in Winooski again... I get a text saying I have to check in online due to Covid, and when I did, I couldn't find my reservation. Worried, I talked to the staff who then directed me to talk to the manager in Winooski, since the rental was assigned there. So, I head up there, and talked to the guy about my issue about not seeing my reservation on the online site. He was absolutely rude and kept saying that he sees it on his computer. Then he gets pissed, raised his voice, and says he does not have time for this, even though he had time to fold his underwear in front of me. The next day when I went to pick up my rental, the online site wouldn't let me. So I had to go back to Riverside and make a whole new reservation which was luckily available for pickup right away. The staff at that time was very professional, polite, and completed the paperwork in a snap.JUNE N.
Again, I have no problem with the people that I interacted with. The staff was working hard because they were having to work the facility alone, which led to delays, but they did their best. This location is too small for this sort of job. A larger site is needed. This is the second weekend in a row where I rented a trailer at a different u-haul site, only to have it transferred up to River Road within minutes. If the other sites so not have these trailers, stop advertising that they do.RICHARD M.

On the truck I rented, the mirrors were not adjustable, the visor on the driver's side was missing (which made it very difficult driving around sunset), the cigarette lighter wouldn't work with my phone charger (that works just fine with the lighter in my car), and the A/C worked about half the time. The Uhaul parking lot was so tight that I had to park next door and carry items between my car and the Uhaul. The employees seemed very rushed and overworked- the man helping me got me to the truck then walked away to help someone else while I was trying to ask him how I returned the truck after hours. Got the job done, but things just seemed more difficult than they needed to be, especially compared to previous experiences.Jessie C.
