the kid that help me was ass hole and not helpful i paid cash and stoped in the next day to tell him i was keeping truck one more day at 35$ i put up a cash deposit 100.00 he said i could not put up my cridet card because it was pre paid . then after i broucht back the truck he called me and said i owed 40.00 i said ok i will be in but now youi have gone into my prepaid card twice and have taken 25900 plus my 100.00 what the fuck you suck. i will see you in courtBENNY C.
I got to the location and the app told me I needed to go to anther location 20min away! When I got to the other location I could not drop off the truck because it was downtown San Diego and the location was closed. I couldn't find a way to do the drop off so I went back to the original one. What a pain! I was on hold for an hour waiting for someone to help me. No one answered. The next day I was able to get a hold of some from the place where I dropped it off. They were very nice and made sure everything was fine with the drop off. I would suggest you get someone to work on making the app more user friendly. I sucks.Jill W.

I asked for a return location when I made my appointment. I was advised to drop the truck off at any uhaul location in San Diego. I drove to 3 places and no location would let me turn the truck in. Final I called uhaul again and they told me a return location. This should have been given to me when I made the appointment. Instead I got to drive all across San Diego. Again, the absolute worst experience and I would never use your service again.STEVEN F.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Three days to do a 1 1/2 hour job. Very unorganized lost record of first appointment, forgot to do my car on second appointment and then finally got job done on third day. Never got me the part I requested and he promised.diana B.

I'm not sure the vehicle actually had a half tank of gas. I did not check the gas when I got in the vehicle, but had to add gas when leaving the uhaul after just 4 miles. Got a warning message on dash saying less than 50 mile range left. I had to add $50 to get ensure I'd cover my total round trip of 18 miles. So that was disappointing.STEVEN C.

Everything that I say here is meant to be constructive criticism and this is mainly directed at the company itself. The employees were nice and professional, but the van and dolly that I reserved days before were both not available when I showed up. They explained that even though I did everything properly, the company website has been allowing people to rent vehicles even when they're not available. Sorry to say it like this, but that is just complete incompetence on your part. It's not fair to your customers and it's not fair to your employees that have to be the ones to explain to your customers that your online reservation system is a mess. I was offered a sufficient pickup truck that was available and a discount which I appreciated (although it really should've been more). Not having a dolly made my move a lot more challenging than it needed to be, and if I had known that the one that I reserved wasn't actually available then I could've made arrangements to find a different one, but I was on a tight time frame and it was too late. Even though I was ultimately able to move the stuff that I needed a truck for in a timely fashion, it's likely that I'll use a different company for something like this the next time that I need to.REID C.

Uhaul does a really good job setting people up with moving vans and various towed trailers. The installation technician named David at the location 4311 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego was very professional and competent. I have a high-performance five speed manual transmission sport sedan and he handled it very well driving it on to the rack. after many years in my profession and business I would say this young man has outstanding organization and business management potential.DAVID G.

The beginning went well. But when I went to return the truck. No one wanted to help me. They just said if I put gas in it, I was fine. But then I find out that they charged me for gas fraudulently. This location requires two contacts to be named at the time of pick up. Which is ridiculous and causes delays each time I have to go to this location. Lines are always long and the mobile pick up app is n/a to this site. Just an inconvenience all around. The people who work there are nice but seem overwhelmed and can get snappy. The assistant manager a black male did take care of me after 30 mins and help speed the process up. I am a corporate account holder and the team had no training in a pick up for this process. I was continuously asked for a PO number but was not given one. I had to call corporate and explain for directions and clarification. I almost missed the set up for my own event. This process took over a hour. Hire more people to handle the lines it should not take 40 mins to an hour to pick up a reservation on mobile or in person.Marcus B.

My new Curt ball mount needed to be reversed from a 4 inch drop to a 2 inch rise. The employee could/would not reverse the mount and did not rent me the proper one. As a result the trailer was too low and hit the skid plate a few times in parking lots.Daniel R.
