More staff, otherwise everyone was very helpful and had excellent customer service
Amanda M.The customer service at this location was poor. There was no greeting. I acknowledge that it was a busy morning for your staff today, but while two of the three workers available to assist the customers were outside with other customers, the one employee remaining decided to take a call and spent about 10 minutes assisting the customer on the phone. Since about 8 other customers had been waiting in line for about 25 minutes by then, the priority should have been given to the in-person customers, not the one who conveniently called in and avoided a considerably long wait. Also, no one apologized for the delay in assisting us with our business. In fact, I arrived timely to my 9:00 am pick-up appointment for a van which I had reserved yesterday. But I was finally helped at approximately 9:30am. Furthermore, the young man who received my returned van rental was not just unprofessional but insulting toward me as well. Even though the gas that I pumped after I was finished using the van showed the same fuel level as when I picked it up (if not slightly higher), he indicated that I owed an amount exceeding $9. When I questioned this, he said that the fuel level was lower than it was when I picked up the van. However, I recalled vividly seeing that the fuel level matched or exceeded that which it had at the time of pick up. He suggested that I changed the fuel level on the U-Haul questionnaire to cheat on gas. However, I was going based on the fuel level reading as indicated in my contract, which apparently varied from the level shown when I took a photo that showed current mileage and fuel level. Since I pumped gas to raise it to the level shown by the photo that I submitted, I did not understand why your employee (whose name I did not obtain--although it appeared to me that he may be of Asian descent) would insult me by suggesting that I was trying to cheat your company by stealing gas. After I explained to him that I had pumped gas at a nearby Arco gas station, he asked to see my receipt. At this point, I walked into the van, which was running on idle, and confirmed that the fluid level matched or exceeded their own when they delivered the van to me. I called him over to show him, and he indicated that he was "going to let it go this time." Having been proven wrong, he reluctantly decided to charge only the amount that was due, and not a fee for additional gas. I have used U-Haul for my moving, as well as other transportation needs, multiple times. However, this unpleasant experience will compel me to consider using alternative moving companies and not recommend your business to friends, colleagues, and relatives.

Seiko N.Had a horrible experience trying to rent a truck. I was racially profiled by the general manager Justin Barragan by making me go through additional screening. Which caused me to miss my scheduled pick up due to the extended time trying to rent a truck that I already had a reservation for. I've rented from this location several times through out the years and never have I ever experienced such a grueling process to rent a truck.

Donald J.The owner, Justin Barragan is unprofessional, aggressive and rude. He began to insult me and argue with me for absolutely no reason. He asked how many miles I'd be driving the U-Haul and I told him to just put down 20 because may use less or maybe even more miles. He began to go on a tangent about "manipulating the system", because I can't afford it and so on. I ended up returning the truck 1 hour later, with a quarter tank more than what I rented it with and only ended up using 13 miles. I best Justin Barragan might feel like a fool for insulting me for no reason. I'm a good, repeat customer with an account in good standing with U-Haul. I'm not sure why the owner here felt the need to insult me however the oversized ear plug piercings he has indicate his level of intelligence and maturity. I will not be returning to this U-Haul and I will leave another review on Google and Yelp. I will also be changing my bank information because this gentleman Justin Barragan does not appear to be the least bit trustworthy.

Alan B.Entrance is usually blocked. I was told at 9am that car would be ready at 3pm. Got a call before 3pm to let us know it would be ready at 3:30pm. Arrived at 3:45pm, they said it would be ready in about 20 min. At 5:30pm, still waiting. We go to garage to see what's taking so long, nobody around our vehicle for 20 min. We asked the only person there to help us find the guy working on the car. She said he was in the restroom. Waited about 10 more minutes and told her I would take my car and told her to call me when the guy shows up. Got my keys and b4 I rolled it off, the guy runs to my car with his face swollen like he was sleeping. Said he'd finish it up in 20 min. The job was finally finished but very disappointed in the whole experience.

The vehicle I was renting was boxed in by other vehicles and not ready for me to pull off the lot. the representative seemed inconvienced because he had to move vehicles which took an extra 25 minutes of my time so that I could pull out. The reading on the fuel gauge was below what my contract stated I had to walk back into the office to make him aware and he rudely replied you were texted an ap use that, and that was the first I had been made aware that this was how I was supposed to make changes or corrections in my contract by using an ap. What can you do to improve / Mandatory Training in customer service for your employees would be a good start. I will be giving Hertz Penske my business in the future.
