LIONELL OFix the mirror! The 10' truck I rented had a loose passenger side mirror. You could adjust it (manually, after climbing over the passenger seat, unrolling the window, climbing back to see if it was good, climbing over to adjust some more, etc etc...come on, how old is this truck? There's no excuse for not having a means to adjust the mirror remotely from the driver's seat!) but as soon as you got on the highway, it would blow out of position, leaving me blind on the right side. This made for a terrifying driving experience. For the sake of the next customer and anyone who might be on his right side, please fix this dangerous situation! Further: the gas tank was at 3/4 when I left the lot. I refilled it to just over 3/4, and then watched the needle drop as I drove away from the gas station. I see from my receipt that I was charged $8.25 for gas. The whole fuel thing feels like a scam. I rent from here frequently, and the tank is never full. That means that when I refill before returning, I have to guess a little, and I always end up overfilling because I don't want to be charged $5+ a gallon. Here's the thing: if I return it short, you charge me $5+ gallon, but I suspect you don't do actually add any gas; you just give it to the next guy with whatever is in the tank. There was a customer picking up at the same time I was that found his vehicle had less than 1/4 tank. So that extra fuel charge is pure profit for you. Please just give us full tanks so we can refill with confidence that we're not paying for more gas than we used. As I said, I rent vehicles 5-6 times a year, and this location is the most convenient, and the customer service is generally good. But I've become increasingly dissatisfied with the maintenance and turnover practices, especially as they impact safety.

martin mThis was my first time renting a u-haul. So, when I was asked by young lady who was assisting us about the mileage. I didn’t know what to say and she suggested 30 and I said that’s fine. But she didn’t really educate me on that. She quoted that it will cost me $143.00., However, when we brought the u haul back she said that I went over my mileage so I have to pay two-hundred and change. I felt like I have been ripped off. That’s my experience. I don’t know if I would like to rent a u haul in the future or even refer someone else.

PRESTON JI dropped my uhaul off at 8 pm the night before it was due. (Friday at 8 pm, it was due 6 am Saturday.) I was charged $40 for having it an extra day because they checked it in as if I dropped it off after 7 am Saturday. This is infuriating because clearly the vehicle was sitting there before they opened. The QR code wasn't working the night I dropped it off so the app told me to put the keys in the box. Now I was charged $40 for time I didn't even have the damn uhaul. Honestly I think the entire concept of uhaul is a scam. 30 miles isn't enough. The 10' box truck says it fits a 1 bedroom apartment it barely fit my couch from my studio apartment because of the stupid random metal cube platforms on each side of the truck. The website is hard to navigate to see if there are any other options but of course it's meant to be difficult that's how you scam people out of $250 for having a freaking uhaul for 14 hours. I will never, EVER use uhaul again. My family will never use it. And I will make sure every person I come across who is moving or mentions uhaul, knows that I will never recommend uhaul. Theives.
Kristen RProvide better entrance signage. The "Do Not Enter" at the first driveway is misleading. It does not indicate that there is another driveway beyond. Drivers turn into the first driveway so the they don't miss the entrance and have to lap the block on the one-way street.

AUGUSTINE AHad issue when returning vehicle, rep charged me for fuel but fuel was actually at level I took it out on. We got into a back and forth argument about fuel level. I requested to speak to a supervisor but he told me the person he was talking to on phone will call me back the next day. I asked for corporate number, he said he didn't have one. So I googled it and spoke to a wonderful rep, who took her time and looked at previous rental to see exactly where fuel level was and processed a refund for me.

PETER KLower the prices back to where they use to be. The motorcycle trailer was a great deal at 15.95 a day now with the increase and protection it was 30 and I only had it for 2.5 hrs. When you don't use a whole day it should be pro rated. Guess I will look to buy my own trailer now.

LUTFULLAH SBlack woman grouchy and eating her breakfast over the desk when I arrived. She made me do the app check-in on my phone even though I asked for person at desk. (Last two times the desk staff took necessary images uploaded them, she made ME do this). She was unfriendly and unprofessional. Black man working there that handled my first two rentals was very nice and friendly. The truck was dirty and the moving pads had black grease stains.
