I rented a 6x12 trailer with a ramp but it was extremely difficult to attach to my vehicle because it came with no jockey wheel. Instead I head to inch my car backwards and forwards numerous times to get the hitch just in the right spot before we could attach it, so the process took half an hour longer than it should have. When I returned the trailer I got yelled at for driving my truck into the "Equipment Return Lane" (!!!????) and was told I had to drive around and back it into the narrow parking spot where I originally got it from, without any help from the staff. Forunately another customer helped me out!

The mobile (24/7) check in was too difficult to find on the website and I ended up having to go inside to the desk for check in. It would be helpful if the confirmation email had a link to directly check in and get your vehicle. Additionally, the van's seats were covered in dog hair and needed air in 3 of its 4 tires.

what you can do to improve for the next customer is hire friendly, polite employees. the guy who handled my in-person truck rental was rude and curt and answered my questions like I should have already known the answers. when I asked him to repeat something, he did so in a very exaggerated slow manner. the pick up truck was great, the employee I had to deal with was a jerk. if he was polite I would have given 5 stars.

I had an appointment at 10am but waited in line for 30 minutes. There was only one staff available. When it was my turn, another staff came out to assist. This second person is almost clueless on the procedure. She keep waiting for the other person to take a pause helping her customer and ask her questions on how to check me in. In addition, she said "the system is down" that's why it kind of slow. I'm shocked that both staffs used personal cell phone to check me into the system, scanning my ID, and handle my personal credit card and punching it into their cell phone. It could be true that the office system was down, but I'm extremely unhappy the fact that they take my credit card and punching it onto their personal cellphone. I'm unsure if this is a normal procedure for Uhal since this is my first and could be last visit if this is how they handle their business.

I rent at this location several times a month to assist with refugee resettlement, picking up, storing and dropping off furniture to help establish new lives in the US. The folks here appreciate my work and do their best to identify the right vehicle and supplies for a particular assignment or set of tasks.

The U-Haul app is basically non-functional. I have been completely unable to complete the post-purchase survey the last two times I have dropped off a truck after hours, and it has negatively impacted both my customer experience and my rental agreement (as I have no proof that I dropped off my equipment on time).

There was a discrepancy on the gas usage. Partially my fault for not taking a picture of the gauge showing it was two clicks above 1/2 full, but I took a mental note and returned the vehicle with the gas at the same level. I was told that it was checked out at 1 click below full. I drove 30 miles and added 3.5 gallons of gas which put the needle at 3 clicks above 1/2, more than enough. I was told to put more gas in myself or get charged 60.00 more for gas. I complied and added 8 more gallons to get the needle to what they said it should be. I wanted to speak to a manager but the office was extremely busy so I left. I guess I'll try to go by in the next day or two. It was a little disturbing but lesson learned, tawise pictures of EVERYTHING !

The trailer had the left & right turn signals reversed. I fixed it but you will want to use butt connectors as I only had tape to connect the wires.

You were late to deliver my vehicle. You were late to check-in my vehicle. You charged me for two days -- when I had the vehicle for <18 hours. And the "time overage" was because you were late in giving me the truck. Plus the vehicle was in bad shape.

Truck was so dirty like newer wash out. Air conditioner doesn't work. For 40 miles trip I put 10 gallons of gas which is not normal.

Terrible service. Rescheduled my appointment without asking. When I got there at the appointment time, I was told mechanist would be there to install the hitch until 1hrs later. I have to take Lyft to work. Can I get the Lyft refund from Uhaul?

The gentelman who helped me get checked in (I can't remember his name but he was older, white, balding with glasses ) etc was very helpful esp when I checked out and was overcharged for gasoline. He walked through the process over again and was able to take care of the overcharge. He really knows the whole process over there! Thank you sir! Thanks U-Haul!

When I first arrived a new clerk had already checked my reserved truck out for a local move and the renters were almost able to leave with the truck, which apparently was the only roadworthy truck to get me from California to Oregon through the mountains. The truck was very clean. The check engine light came on within 15 miles of leaving the store and when I returned the clerk wasn't helpful at all. He told me to call roadside assistance and wouldn't even help me look for another truck in the area. I was parked in the equipment return area and nobody else was behind me. As I waited on the phone the same clerk came out and made me move the truck. This guy made a terrible day even worse.

No negative feedback. I picked up my moving supplies and van in little wait time. I was able to do a pre check in online that streamlined the process. The pre inspection was sent by a text and I was able to complete on my own without someone looking over my shoulder. When I was done a gentleman directed me to the equipment drop off and I was was asked if I wanted a email or actual receipt. I decided on an email and that was it. I was shocked at how put together the entire process was. Great customer service.

Waited about 20 minutes for staff to check me in they had other things to do seem to be extremely under staff with only one person working the front counter. The back of the truck had broken glass in it I cleaned out myself I left the truck cleaner than I got it the entire truck at a layer of dirt on it.

Everyone was super friendly at the Mountain View location, which was amazing because they were very very busy! Frank and Sean in particular really took the time to answer my questions. I owed exactly what I expected. Cargo van had only 5500 miles on it and was perfect for my needs. I've rented there before and will again. Good folks. Good company. Thanks.

The app-based checkin failed and it was an interminable wait to get my truck. I went through the required inspections to discover mileage was wrong and had to return to the office again. I had been given the wrong truck. In the end, it took 35 min to pick up a vehicle, making me late for my helpers. However, the truck ran fine. I appreciated the after hours drop off. There is also good availability at this location.

very, very rude employees, ask for help and they just bitch back at you. Especially the lady on 9/1/21 at 8am Truck was filthy, could barley see out the windshield with out running the wipers to clean it, thank god it has washer fluid

original pick up was scheduled to be picked up on Laurelwood Rd. since the person using the truck before me did not return it to that location, I had to pay for a uber ride to this new location. the location had trucks on the lot I could have used but the guy at the front desk was a complete ass. very unprofessional. exact words out of his mouth; "man that sucks for you". next time i will rent with Penske or Enterprise. never will I use U-Haul again. this particular location was fine.
