Had many frustrations when attempting to rent a tow dolly for a car I needed to move a couple miles. First I called a local neighborhood dealer to ask if a dolly was available. I know it cannot be a guarantee that a trailer is available but they said they would hold it for me so I went ahead and placed the reservation. When I arrived I was told it was rented out to someone else. I asked if there are any others nearby and I was told there are non within 20 miles. So I called the next closes Uhaul 30 times before someone answered. It became very frustrating when I pulled up and noticed the only employee run inside to answer the call which of course was me. After going inside the employees told me my truck and trailer were not suitable for a rental which was not the case because I rented the same combination two times within the last month. So on I went to the last location. This location had no problem approving me and providing a dolly (within 5 miles of the other location). I ended up paying almost double because by then I had no time to return the dolly across town. I would like to be considered for a partial refund for the difference in cost for returning it to a different location because of the rude employees I had to deal with along the way. The uhaul website could be a little easier to use. It wouldn't allow me to continue after entering my info to create an account for easier check out. I would enter my credit card number and I would get redirected to enter it again. After several attempts and double checking my entries each time, I gave up and figured it was a glitch of some sort with the website itself.ALEXIS L.

Better method of taking information. Asked for alot of personal info before they could give me a quote via phone then once at location took a picture of my license on personal phone. Did explain after I made comment and offered an option but he already took pic. This day a d age there is too much employee theft to be doing that. The truck we got was rough. Over 100k miles and the transmission seemed to be on its way to failing. Power was inconsistent and the whole cab would randomly lurch. Thankfully it was an in town move with three stops so we made due, but truck condition is always a luck of the draw thing.Nathan G.

The staff member in the store at the time of my arrival was excellent! I rent trucks and purchase supplies from U-Haul all the time. This vehicle was dirty on the outside and had a barely usable passenger-side side view mirror.Vivian M.

The truck on the inside was disgusting and cover in dog hair and muddy paw prints. At least I hope that was mud, and it smelled like wet dog. I would still recommend that location, because everyone was friendly and professional. The store itself was clean. Just making sure you have time to have them clean out the truck if it isn't clean, I had people waiting to help with my move so I couldn't wait. That was the second time I rented from them. The first time the truck wasn't the cleanest either, so I brought cleaning supplies this time.Tara Z.

The U-Haul wouldn't go over 40 the U-Haul had no power storing when driving when I turn right it will slide to the left broke up two bedroom sets equaling over $3500 of furniture was broken staff when I went back to return the U-Haul was rude didn't want to hear about the U-Haul and how it was driving return the U-Haul on a half a tank of gas and returned at the same day at six and now I see I got chargeTwice for something that I don't even know why and in fact I should've been reimbursed for some of the loss that I occur of using the U-HaulFelisha A.

I am actually going to call an attorney to sue you.this GM Rico is an absolute racist.his crew ganged up on me and my wife.never ever have i had black people feel entiled to yell and disrespect me and my wife this women that worked there even wanted to try to charge me for very visible damage from another previous rental that was mentioned to the GM before i rented.Rico agreeded with me that we spoke about this before i rented the truck.but this women didnt care she was going to charge me because we didn't get along never have i had anyone treat me like i was there kid yelling at me.this GM Rico is a liar and he tried to be sneaky and over charge me with a fuel charge.well i didnt trust him from the start so i screened shot before and after on the gas and not only did i not short the gas i over paid for fuel.but this Rico tried to be sneaky and over charge me.i am going to make this clear my grandfather is william Paley CBS television.if i dont hear from uper management about this situation.i will be sending a film crew to this location and you will be on the morning, midday, evening and late night news in all 50 states.how in the world did you give this man a franchise if something isnt done i will never use UHaul again and i will do everything in my power to turn as many people away from U Haul as possible.this lying Rico GM said i was cursing his employee.he say we have video and i begged him to see it but he wouldn't because he is a liar.i want to see video of march 20th about 8:15 am.please understand i am going to see a lawyer and once you see this video of not only this women being so rude to me.but my wife was just standing there and then she started with my wife i was inside and i could here this piece of garbage yelling at my wife someone needs to call me 727-320-6694 Larry PaleyLAWRENCE P.

Got there in time for my appointment but didn't leave till 35 minutes later. I needed the truck to pick up some furniture by the time I got to the guys house, had sold the furniture to somebody else because I was late by 45 minutes at that point. Awful experience, Wasted $38 of my money Only to have the Guy working at the counter at the U-Haul office tell me he can't do anything for me With a smug look on his face!Jamie D.

Mistakes galore. Place closed when should have been open causing truck to be rented longer. Caused more cost on truck. Was promised credits and no additional charges but billed me extra anyway. Still no refunds.mary ann M.

I upgraded from 20' to 26' because it was the same price and after looking around felt it was better to have too much room than not enough when the scheduled U-Haul movers arrived. Please tell folks how 26' drives very rough comparatively as it caused me a very stressful move and a broken item with all of the bouncing. Apparently I had a very light load and this was the reason. In my view, it drove like a dump truck. Softer, better quality, tires would probably would help. Very disappointed in the experience and will be telling everyone. My friend said he did not have this experience with his one-way so maybe a different truck for local. I cannot imagine anyone putting up with this for more than a local.Benjamin Z.

Pricing always seems to be an issue. Both times I used the location extras were added to the bill even thought they were rejected when I made the reservation. My guess is that it's a system issue. Regardless, it gives a sense that if the buyer is not careful he/she will be overcharged.Ronald V.

You need to clean the inside of the windshields on your vehicles. When driving into the sun, you can't see through the haze and glare. This is a serious safety issue that should be addressed through out your fleet.John L.
