1st off I rented a truck and was called by a customer service rep the day before the rental and told that they didn't have the truck I wanted, so he found me a van at this location. which is 2 miles in the opposite direction that I needed to go. I picked up the van Friday morning, checked in and got the keys. I was told the van was at the front and I could drive it off. I went out and it was wedged in between 2 other vans. I went back in and told the rep, he said he would be right out. I loaded my gear in the van and a 5 minutes later he came out and said "Did you load your stuff in the van already" I said yes. He said I have keys for this van, which was right behind the van I rented. Okay, fine I have the keys and now have to transfer all my gear to this new van which took another 5 minutes. I am now ready to go and a forklift is now parked behind me with the driver taking off the gas cylinder. He says did you need to get out. I said yes. So, he says okay let me move, then another guy comes out and they start filling the gas and said it would be a few minutes. So now another 5 minutes later I am finally able to leave and ended up being 15 minutes late for my appointment. Very Disappointed!
KENNETH MI have arrived here at the end of a 2 1/2 day trip across country, after spending hours, unloading my truck and trailer. These gentlemen made sure I was quickly taken care of. They were very friendly as well.

Ann MThis was actually a complex endeavor to first move from a house to storage and then from storage to a new location. The employees I worked with were competent, courteous, and fast. I will definitely be recommending this location to my friends.

Jose LNot much. A large and spacious yard makes it easy to park and maneuver. Other locations really tie up vehicles given how small they are or given their proximity to freeway entrances or major signals.
JEFFREY SThe customer service in California was absolutely horrible. I can't remember the employee's name, but she should be fired. She acted as though I was here to serve her. The worst customer service rep I have EVER dealt with. However, the customer service in Arkansas was completely the opposite. Very polite and very accommodating. The driver's in both locations were very good tho. Transportation was okay. Only one broken glass frame (kind of expensive to replace); but it did not appear the boxes were thrown around too much in transit. But that California customer service rep should quit her job if she hates it so much.
ken hPUTTING no because I still haven't been able to access boxes. THE OFFICE staff answering phones, either didn't answer and let phone ring until it hung up or answered with an attitude. None of the quotes I got were accurate and more amount kept getting added to the price with no warning.
brittany aGet more crewmen on sight. There weren't enough to keep up with the customers coming in on a busy Saturday at a popular location. The crew that were there were working their asses off and did the best they could at the time.

TRACY BWe had made a reservation over the phone for a truck and a appliance dolly. We got to the Placentia location and they did not have the appliance dolly available anymore. The representative at this location called the Fullerton location and ask them if they had a dolly for appliances available the person that answered said yes we do So the Placentia representative said please hold it. I’m sending customers over there ! after we picked up the truck. We went to the Fullerton location and the representative said no they did not have the appliance dolly that was supposed to be on hold for us. After running around & wasting precious time We just had to figure it out on our own .. I do give the truck rental process an A+
leslie MWell it worked out for me to my benefit, a truck with only 29 mi left. In terms of how much gas was available in the tank, I would consider inconvenient for most. There should be a minimum level like 1/4 tank.

NATHAN HWe told U-Haul at least 4 x that we did not know our address in Florida, it was a mess , then we gave a week notice to deliver to our new updated address, then the delivery was moved 2x which then passed the rent date then we were charged rent but $40 more than was quoted for the rent , we should not have been charged the rent at all since we called the week before to schedule the drop off before the rental date. Still waiting for that refund on $117.10 Since it was so many calls and supposedly recorded, please check those and listen many people are not doing what they promise on the customer service lines.
Christopher CUpon returning vehicle I was told to leave the keys and everything would be situated. Was also instructed to go inside for a printer receipt. Inside the store I was told the printer is broken and I would be emailed a receipt. The next day rolls around and I get a text that my rental is late/overdue. I still never got my receipt and the store never processed my return. I called the location and the word this time is that their system is down. Rental was finalized and situated after visiting the location in person. Entire return process was unprofessional and an inconvenience. For what it’s worth, entire staff I came across were very friendly and accommodating, not their fault that everything is broken. Store needs to pick up the slack and do better.

Jose SA little more guidance on the app. It's confusing. It works well once you get the hang of what's going on, but the initial experience is confusion. And finding my reservation was weird, especially standing in front of the representative trying to find the reservation number. Lots of wasted movement.
Ray WLazy customer service at the desk. The girl was annoyed that I wanted the van I reserved and not a box truck. She handed me the key with no explanation of the truck was. I was forced to take a larger truck I didn’t reserve and even though I filled the gas tank back to the level I rented it at, I was charged for gas. DO NOT leave the truck without a paper receipt. I was told they would email it and they lied and said the gage wasn’t at half a tank (it was 1/8 more than 1/2) and so they added a gas refill charge on to my bill. NEVER USE THIS U-HAUL LOCATION.
Suzanne HAgain, a great experience. The drop off location was clearly marked and a friendly attendant got me unhitched and on my way in no time.
Severin FI don’t know what I would do to improve it. Everybody at the facility was great.
Rich GOne box came with a steel strap screwed across door. We did not know this or have a cordless driver to remove while our paid U-Haul helpers stood by. We had o ask someone else for assistance. No overtime for helpers because it was a short job time wise. Boxes need to be inspected under the cover for modifications made to secure weak boxes.

Shatera OWhen I came in I wanted the smallest truck online it said your store had it but when I got there your store only had big trucks . So I had to take it I went over my time and got a disturbing call from Gary telling me that the truck they gave me is for somebody else that I need to have it back by 12 I told him I can’t because I have to get help from somebody he told me there would be a 50 dollar fee for keeping it . Also he told me he couldn’t take the car trailer without the truck . I had to drop it off because it was in my way of moving the rest of my stuff . It inconvenience me that I had to get a big truck for 10 items and when I couldn’t come on time I’m getting charged I feel he thought I was never bringing it back he made me feel like I was stealing I called him and I told him I’m gonna go to corporate he got mad and charged my whole card for everything he could think of . He’s rude and has terrible customer service. I’ll be talking to corporate tomorrow.
