Everything was a hassle. The store employees could not figure anything out because of a severe lack in communication. Forgivable if the store had been busy, we were literally the only ones present. The online app did not work at all. We had to go in the store 3 separate times. Completely defeating the purpose of the online option. Which is.. to save time and not have to go in the store. This is the second experience we have had with uhaul. Not the cheapest, kindest, or best company to be a customer of. We won't be back.Joshua F.
The employees were GREAT! Hard working people. U haul's policies are a JOKE!!!! While trying to check out i was in line with a young man ahead of me trying to rent a dolly. U haul REQUIRED he give the name of a contact person. And THEN you require your employees to call that person, i'm assuming in case the item isn't returned! They MUST reach that person and verify them. This took several attempts(all on speaker phone) which led to many questions from the person receiving the call. What a JOKE! Are you kidding me? This person being called has NO legal basis or obligation for the said rental contract. All this did was take TONS of time! My time, your employees time and the potential renters time! Then came my turn. Same process! Total BULL SHIT. It took soooo long i forgot to buy boxes from you guys( a missed opportunity for your company!). Would i use U haul again? Not if this requirement is still in place! If you are that concerned, put tracking equipment on your assets. Try utilizing some other technology. Your customer service gal Lisa was excellent to deal with, however the lady who called re the reservation on April 25 was very obnoxious, rude and condescending about the rental reservation, stating that no vehicles were available for me and a reservation ment nothing. After explaining my situation to her, she advised a trailer or Upack, which would not work as of price and no tow vehicle. I believe her name was Hailene or something similar and was advised that her supervisor would call in the AM, but never got a call. Lisa handled the situation like a pro and saved your company a court procedure. Would highly recommend her to deal with. JimJames C.

I would like to say that the Chloe I dealt with Wayne is his name I think last name is Kane made my experience so awesome that I forgot about the last experience I had in Oregon which was awful. Wayne goes above and beyond his job in my eyes. I am a disabled veteran and I know when somebody needs to be recognized for going above and beyond their job description. It really sucks when you rent a truck and drive it 33 miles and have to put $25.05 in fuel in it because the fuel guage doesn't work right and they basically tell you to take a hike when you ask them for the money back. I literally got a mile down the road from fueling up and the guage started working and the 3/4 of a tank that I was supposed to bring it back with came back with a full tank. After a poor experience at the 3rd Ave store, no truck at the designated time. They referred us to the East Sprague Store, which had a truck we desired. The 3rd Ave store blamed the transportation department for the truck not being returned. I showed up on time(4:00pm) and no one called me to let me know there was a problem. The East Sprague Store was excellent! They did all the paperwork revisions and got me on the way quickly. Great service!DAMON T.

Cassidy is great and very nice and pleasant to deal with but I do have concerns about billing with corporate I rented a truck today and I'm charged I'm told 1 price and and it takes more off my card.. I get that do to my bank.. but I have this 175 pending and I figure my bill out from my receipt and find out I'm charged for 2 days when it was 10 hours I had truck . now not only 175 another 209 and change is pending now I've got over 380 pending on my card for a truck that should be about 140 I figure my trips to a T and always am able to return with a few dollars changed I have no idea how much I'll be charged .and the after noon crew is useless with any information to help ease that I'll only be charged 1 day where is the customer service.. ide fire myself if I ever treated any one of my customers that way with there billing or questions they may need answeredWHITNEY SUE M.

Overall I had a fine experience till the end. I fueled up the van to the same amount it had when I grabbed it. On return of the van I was informed that the system showed that it was a little under half a tank when it reality it was a little over 3/8 of a tank where I had fueled it up to. I was charged for 7 gallons of fuel at a marked up price where 1 to 2 gallons should have taken it to a half tank. I find it quite ridiculous that I was charged 33 dollars for two gallons of fuel.Elijah S.

One major issue with U-haul, not the East Spokane site in particular. I had to drive an hour and a half from the preferred pick up site in Pullman to get the truck! I understand that scheduling can be difficult and complex, but nobody from the regional scheduling department bothered to call me and let me know a change had been made. Not very impressive.EDWARD R.

When returning truck, only one person in store had to help 4 different people returning vehicles and 1 getting a storage unit. This person did a great job trying to handle it all, had a good attitude but was overwhelmed. Two customers came in saw the line and left immediately. Need to work on proper staffing!Maryann H.

I was assured by the company in Spokane Valley, WA that I since I accepted the UHaul with 1/8 of a tank of fuel that as long as I returned it with 1/4 of a tank of fuel when I arrived at the gaining location in Tucson, AZ that I would receive a monetary credit for the difference in fuel. I even explained that to the the company in Tucson, who said they would take care of me, but I did not receive the credit I was promised. Not good business.GREGORY S.

This isn't regarding this location, it's a general comment. Sign inside the truck is misleading. It says that a person can save $25 by ensuring that the inside of the truck is swept and the furniture blankets are folded. What it doesn't say is that it is a fee that can be charged if it isn't done. I did it and thought I would get $25 off the amount of my bill.Kennith G.

I’m extremely disappointed I have been trying to speak with the manager and only get the voicemail I was over charged and the staff member I was dealing with was rude I asked for a supervisor and he stated manager wasn’t there I went to find another worker outside when I came back in with the other gentleman a female employee was there said she was assistant manager and the wife of the employee she was also rude and accused me of making false statement when I told her I felt the employee was rude. I want to talk to the manager to resolve the over charges. I have called several times to resolve this issue and can’t seem to reach the manager.
