The associates at this location were very polite and helpful. They deserve top marks and recognition for being so pleasant. It helped me forget about the pain resulting from your digital experience. My complaint is not about this location or any of the people working there, but about the website and the whole process of picking up a truck. I had to enter all of my information when I booked the truck, again in the app when I attempted to be able to pick up the truck without having to stand in line inside (which led to a dead-end once I had everything entered), then once again they needed my information when I had to go in to pick up the truck. Your Android app is a waste of time. After entering all my information for the second time, it leads to a screen where the only option is cancel, which wipes out everything I just entered. A complete waste of time.

I'm pleased with my pickup and drop off locations. It's uhaul itself that I will never use again. I have called twice to complain and both times I've been told I will receive a call back from a supervisor and never have. Nick and Susie must be real busy ignoring people.

Inefficient. Long wait times. I tried to I was charged for 100 miles (my original estimate) when I only went 88 miles. I didn't have confidence that the person that I worked with had good attention to detail since I went in and was told that to extend the return time wouldn't cost more, but it would have costed me an extra $40.

The guy who was running around gathering odds and ends saw me pull up and happily said welcome to uhaul...they'll help you inside...with a big smile and kept working. The clerk was very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was by far one of the best uhaul locations I've rented from. My pickup date was 1-3-2020 @ 1 or 2 pm...please pass along my appreciation to your staff.

There was only one person inside helping with reservations. That person was almost too helpful to customers as he spent 15+ minutes with one customer. It took over 30 minutes to be helped and pick up our keys. The line was out the door.

I arrived a few minutes before my reservation. And then waited in line for more than one hour to get my rental truck. The one person working was working incredibly hard with amazing customer service but clearly management totally failed through understaffing. You lose business when you can't carry out your core business in a timely fashion.

1. Communication My U-Haul reservation was at 2400 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134. However, when I arrived to pick up the truck I was told I should have been called the day before and told that my truck is not there but is instead available at 2515 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. The lack of notifying me beforehand meant I traveled to the wrong location, spent money on an uber to get to the right location, and most importantly our entire moving day which involved traveling to 5 different locations to pick up items from various sellers, was behind schedule. We had to adjust our schedule on the fly and call a number of people to tell them our new ETA. 2. Equipment The passenger's side mirror was unadjustable without an allen wrench. I discovered this during the initial rental walk-around and asked for help from the staff to get it adjusted. It took them over 10 minutes on my already-late rental to find the tool to get the mirror unstuck so it could be adjusted. 3. Give the customer a heads up around how long certain things are going to take.

The truck was filthy - there were food crumbs in the cup holders. When we pulled the ramp out we found it to be littered with dirt and debris, including large shards of glass. They also charged me for 4.5 gallons of gas yet confirmed I drove under 25 miles. This place is terrible.

We were not made aware to check our txt and fill out the condition of the trailer. When we saw the txt, it had already expired. The man who checked us out was lovely, but his mask was very loose and mostly sat under his nose. It made me very uncomfortable and I stayed way back. However my husband did not seem to notice or was afraid he might insult and stood only 6 feet if that, not directly behind the plexiglass. It made me crazy with worry. I finally mentioned he might want to tighten his mask, but my husband had already been standing there too long. I told my husband he should have stood way back as it was a large room, but it was too late by then and he felt because he had his mask on it was fine. Both people need mask on proper for protection of all!

The phone app would not let me cancel that reservation or at least I could not find how to cancel it. Seems the phone app could be changed to support this.

Had a good experience today. Miguel was awesome! He didn't check me in for pick-up, but he waved to me as I drove away, which put me in a good mood. He ended up checking me in for drop-off and was just easy to work with! Great attitude, very helpful and made it as stress-free as possible. Good, lasting impression!

I was charged for a move that basically didn't happen. I rented a 10-foot truck and a dolly from this location. When I drove 3 miles to my old address to start moving boxes, I found out that the truck didn't have a ramp. Why would they rent me a dolly for a truck that doesn't have a ramp? I called the store's phone number to get things sorted out. After being on hold for 5 or 10 minutes, my call was answered by someone at U-haul's call center. I explained the predicament. They told me the 15-foot truck does have a ramp, and that it was $10 more than the 10-foot truck that I rented. I asked if I could exchange the trucks, and the U-haul representative said 'yes'. So I drove back to U-haul to exchange the trucks for the $10 difference. When I arrived, the staff at the location told me that they had to treat it as a return. So instead of paying the $10 difference, I had to pay $53 for a truck rental package that was unusable. On top of that, I had to pay full price for the 15-foot truck, an estimated charge of $60. I was told that I'd pay a $10 difference. I ended up with a charge of $113 altogether. That's ridiculous and disingenuous. The store should have honored the $10 difference to exchange the trucks like how I was told over the phone by U-haul. The staff was courteous and unhelpful at the same time.

My dad and I were so impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone on site was. It can be hard to connect with customers through face masks right now, but everyone, from the guy on the lot showing us trucks to the two people taking care of us and others at the counters, was polite, friendly, and welcoming. Best U-Haul experience my family has ever had! Highly recommend this Rainier location!
