Kind & helpful employees. The location was pretty crowded with rental trucks/trailers. There was very limited parking space for customers. I suggest you lease nearby space for parking rental trucks and hire more staff.

As I entered the store, some woman yelled from behind the counter “go back outside, he’s coming.” I continued to walk in and she yelled “I said go back outside”. I remained inside and waited by the door. It was raining and very cold. I also heard from where I was standing she was using profanity while talking to an employee with a bandaid on his head. This woman I found out was the manager. The older man that assisted me was kind.

I worked with a customer service rep over the phone by the name of Ann. She was very nice and helpful. As a result of my original reservations for 2x 26ft one-way trucks that had been reserved several weeks being moved around over 7 times she made special accommodations to avoid the huge price difference the changes were going to cost me in mileage. However when I arrived to the U-Haul location the gentleman (who seemed to be under some sort of influence) took it upon himself to change the booking without consulting with the customer service team or Ann. He seemed to have had some sort of motive behind his action. He insisted that the truck that was reserved for me was there but not ready to be re-rented to me and I should just go ahead and take the other one. This resulted in me being largely overcharged for his truck rental.

Van smelled cat urine front dusty and cargo bed was well with small gravel debris. We use your services for transportation of fine furniture. We are considering moving our business to Zipcar.

Website continually locks up on changes. Finally had sign up for basic rental and do change at facility. Check out process required re-entry of same information multiple times and repeated upsells of previously declined options. Main person at facility was knowledgeable and helpful.

The staff at this location was not particularly professional, joking around and laughing about things together while talking to customers. The woman's teenage son was there for spring break, and he was moving trucks, which did not inspire a lot of confidence because of how immaturely we could hear him responding to her requests over the phone system while she was trying to arrange to have our truck brought to us.

I wish there had been a hose available at the location. The day I rented the van I had asked for a box truck and got a van. It rained really hard. All the plastic bags we hauled to Goodwill & Dump were damp and/or had dirt on them because of the rain. I had to take the van to my personal residence to hose it out so I could turn it in "clean." My suggestion was to have a broom and hose available to the public to tidy up, ESPECIALLY since it rains so much in our area!

Pick up originally reserved at 1st Ave s seattle. I called in the am to confirm pick up time, got there AND HE GAVE MY TRUCK TO SOMEONE ELSE. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will search all alternatives before ever using Uhaul ever again. Gary Deitz

Slow service even though I supposedly express checked in online. U-Haul should have documentation explaining why your staff photographs IDs and now requires a second phone number AND that someone answers it. No mention of this online when reserving or checking in, no signage or documentation onsight. Truck worked fine but was dirty, check engine light on.

I placed the order at one location near my home. When I came to that location at that time, I was told that the pickup location is changed to another place which is 10 miles away. Why I didn't get any text message or email before I going there??

Equipment was clean, however not well maintained. There were non-repaired broken lights and many other non-repaired damages. Also they charged me $19.80 despite the fact that I returned the car with gas at the same level as when I picked up. I email them for a refund, but still haven't heard from them. I just want my money back because I refilled the truck. Thank you

Positives- Juwan was extremely helpful getting me checked in and helping me start the car when the ignition was jammed. He is a very knowledgeable and helpful employee! Negatives- I did not have a good return experience. I parked the van, walked inside to personally return the keys, and was told to leave the keys on the seat of the van. This seemed strange, so I confirmed that this was what I should do and the agent told me yes. Then I received a phone call the next day telling me I had returned the van but they didn't have the keys. This was a very bad experience and stressed me out while I was trying to move. Please work to find a better system for returning vehicles so that customers are not bothered about things that should not be their concern in the first place. Thank you.

The assistant manager is extremely rude and unhelpful and they lied and misled me about the final charge. I called the store about returning the truck 90 minutes late and they said that it would be fine with no additional charges but when I returned the truck get charged me for a full additional day and the insurance. Horrible customer service experience and I was lied to by this store and U Haul corporate.
