There was only one person at the desk handling contracts and he constantly had to call a helpline to get his computer to work. I waited 1h10m just to get to the front of the line. Clearly this location is busy enough to require at least two people at the desk. Also, the cargo van I drove had a broken side rear view mirror making it difficult to drive.

I had to wait for the check in process because others were ahead of me and there was only one employee. Also I had booked the van with the online app and it was not saved to the system.

There was no call or email the day before. When I arrived I had to go back home and get a "second contact number" and then return. The driver's seat was horribly perfumed and contaminated my clothes. When I returned the truck, there were two employees helping two customers before me. They spent half an hour arguing about who would check me out and did so very slowly, while they were really taking cigarette breaks. They had claimed that the gas tank was half full, but it was only 3/8 full. I got them to forgo forcing me to pay for filling it to half, but the way they did it was by reporting that it was returned half full (it wasn't), so the next person gets screwed. Not a fun place.

I reserved a Cargo van. When I spoke with staff at this location we discussed the choice of renting a 10 foot box truck and dropping it off one way in Anacortes, WA vs a Cargo van picking up and returning to the same location - I was advised the less expensive option was going to be to rent the Cargo van because after 110 miles the mileage rate would drop to $0.39 per mile from $0.99 per mile and I explained I would be renting the vehicle for 2-3 days. At no time did anyone tell me when I spoke to this location staff person when changing my online reservation or when I picked it up (when I explained I would be bringing the vehicle back after hours. I just spoke to one of your customer service agents who took my number 919-824-5948 and I requested a call back 11 am - 2pm PST) to advise me on receiving a credit back on these charges for the miles I had expected (more than 100-110 initial miles at $0.99 then $0.39 after that) Also, I had to go the location twice because the manager was away and none of the other two staff had any idea how to explain my bill. There were several other unhappy customers there about noon today who also had problems with their reservations or billing and the two men didn't seem to know how to help them either. VERY Unsatisfied. What would satisfy me is a credit back to my credit card of approximately $65 which is my estimate of how much I was overcharged by being charged

The biggest challenge is handling reservations. I ha a reservation for a trailer in Bellevue, and it wasn't back when I was ready to pick it up. I certainly get that someone will underestimate when they will be done with the truck or trailer, but I would recommend finding a way to have the equipment (in multiple numbers) so that someone who has made a reservation can get what they requested at the time they wished to pick it up.

The location was not the problem. The employees were not the problem. The problem was the inability of the software to schedule a truck for me which I tried to use for over two hours and then eventually called the 1-800 number to resolve which took nearly 45 minutes, LASTLY!!!!! I WAS NO TOLD THAT I NEED TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A "FRIEND" TO ACCEPT A CALL AT 8:00 AM on A Saturday morning.... in order to rent the truck. That I was not told this ... that I needed a passport or to be able to phone a friend at 8;00 am Saturday morning ... I would have made arrangenments.. AS IT WAS I HAD TO WAIT TO NEARLY 10:00 AM to begin renting the truck I arrived at 8:00 am to rent.

This uhaul dealer was fantastic. We got stuck behind a bad accident and it delayed us 1 1/2 hours. We were hoping to get to the dealer by 4:30p, but instead we rolled in at 5:52. The guy who helped us was very good at his job. The car on the trailer didn't start, so we had to push it off the trailer, which the guy and I did. He waited until we called AAA and was willing to wait until they could come. Thankfully, the car started just fine once it was off the trailer. He was very helpful and professional.

This location is always ridiculously slow. I've interacted with this location on 4 separate occasions. Staff is usually friendly (with the exception of the first time I came here, where they were very rude). But on weekends you need more than one person working the rental agreement desk. There was a huge line and half of the line was just people trying to finish checking out after their walk around of the vehicle. You also need to WARN CUSTOMERS that they have to have a contact available to call at the time of rental. People aren't always available to answer their phones. I had to try 2 contacts before reaching someone, especially on a Saturday morning. One man had been stuck there for 2 hours trying to reach someone (he had an 8am reservation) before he finally got ahold of someone.

My truck and trailer were fine... it was the HEROIN NEEDLE under the driver's seat that was a bit off-putting. This can be verified by the young lady who checked the truck back in when I returned it. This location was the only one with a motorcycle trailer (according to your algorithm; it sent me all the way across Seattle for it), else I never would have gone. This is in the most disgusting area of Seattle, with the absolute worst of humanity crawling the streets and all around the building. I literally watched a stolen bike get stripped while waitng for the guy to hook up the trailer. This location needs to be burned to the ground.

The woman managing is truly amazing. She is clearly (always) understaffed and yet she maintains a positive, constructive attitude, humor, and efficiency. In the three times I’ve been there in the last month she made sure all the customers were acknowledged, and got their questions answered. Overall however, the lack of staff and skilled support, especially on the last weekend of the month, is both negligent and frustrating for everyone.

Th to e fuel tank was down to a quarter tank. I have to get fuel before moving verse topping of the fuel when I returned the vehicle. The towing application on the vehicle was on all the time even while empty. There was one associate in the office and a line with several people. she stated you can check in on line which took longer than standing in line.

When i arrived I was told I was late, and that i'd be lucky if the truck I reserved was available. Not at all happy given that no one called me to confirm I was still able to pick it up or not. Just threats that my truck may not be there despite booking it. Very bad customer experience and service.

Every time I rent from U-Haul I have to be moved to a different location other than the location I reserved my U-Haul from. This is quite an inconvenient and it stresses full. I feel U-Haul needs to work on their communications and don’t reserve something at a location that it’s not available
