The service was night and day between the first location (the one on Sunset Hill) and the last location (U-City) Every person I came in contact with at the last location whether it was on the phone or in person, including the manager was surly, seemed to be tired or “put out”.

sheri P.First time used this place, showed up to pick up reserved truck waited over a half an hour to be helped. After that it was ok. Second time used app almost as long to get through it. Finally got key and get going to find 2 tires are low. I mean I get cars ready for customers all day it isn't difficult to air up a low tire. And after dealing with having to retake pics over and over before we could get going they didn't even adjust the return time to match when we finally got to get going so my 2 hour rental became a hour and 15 minute rental with no adjustment in price either. So was rushed beyond belief. Let's just say unless there are no other options there won't be a third time. Sorry uhaul you lost this customer.

Started out a little rocky as we had to wait around a half hour to get out reserved truck and trailer, but that wasn't necessarily the attendant(, he was helping other customers. Just thought there could have been a little more effort put into speeding things up. Other then that it was really good. Staff was friendly equipment was in good condition. Would definitely recommend to anyone that was looking into truck or trailer rent.

Sharon E.We were very frustrated that the guy helping us was very cold and unfriendly. Also, any time we needed help, we had to wait a fairly long time to speak to anyone. Another frustration was when we moved out, they had just charged us 70 just about a week before that and we got no credit for the 3 weeks left of what we paid for. It's really sad because the facility itself is very clean and secure, but the way we were treated would make me not recommend it to anyone.

It was frustrating, I filled the gas a quarter tank over and I could not understand why a successful corporation like uhaul could not afford to reimburse me back for supplying them with extra gas. I think it would provide a better experience if the customers were treated more personably.

I experienced by far the best customer service in my 43 years on earth. He was understanding and cared about my needs. I give Jay a 50 from a scale of 1 to 10. I will definitely always recommend his location and utilize his services for years to come. Awesome person! Cannot say enough about him. Thank you Jay!

David L.We were given none of the equipment we tried to rent because it was unavailable. The dozen furniture pads that we rented were not in the trailer when we arrived at our location. (Thankfully we were told we'd be refunded for that as we didn't have them to use). The wait time for getting the trailer took a long time, even with doing the pre-check-in process online.

mike G.I went there with a car load of stuff to store , got into building ok, loaded up the carts provided with the things in my car found my unit finally with a lock already on it as though someone already was using it so I called the 1-800 number due to the fact that you were already closed after hours and that lady had no idea what to do she was so not helpful in any which way or form she had no idea what to do in any which way the only thing she did do was sit on the phone with me the whole time while I tried to figure out what the heck a lock was already doing on my storage number anyways I'm going to figure that all out today when I go into the office during office hours see if we can get fixed.

Trevor I.U-Haul got it all figured out, they don't need my options on how to improve any aspect of their operations. However my experience at my local branch is usually pretty good, an occasional hick up but nothing to get upset about. The people there are usually pretty friendly and accommodating and the equipment is fine for my needs. Thanks U-Haul,
richard S.i got there 20 min before closing. went thru the whole ordeal of getting a unit, only to have to re do the entire process all over again. apparently, someone was training and was in the wrong screen or something i don't know, I'm just a paying customer. Any way, got done and went to go enter the unit, put in my code, and my access denied. got in touch with the manager as she was walking out the door to finally go home, and she went back in for a few, came back out and said,. "give it a couple minutes” it should work now. waited for 15 min. went to try to enter, and access denied again. As of right now, I have yet to get access to my unit. guess ill try again tomorrow....
Matthew b. | First ImpressionsI picked up 2 - 26ft trucks for a relocation from Spokane, WA to Kennewick, WA. When we picked up the trucks, neither truck had enough gas in the tank. One was at a quarter tank and one was right under a half tank. Before we even started, we had to fill up the tanks, not knowing what we would actually use. I know you bill customers for not returning trucks with the same amount of fuel there was when they picked up the trucks. Why isn't that fee being put into the tanks? I shouldn't have to buy fuel to start my move. Needless to say, I returned the trucks with significantly more fuel than when I picked them up. I understand you may not want all your trucks sitting out there full of gas, but you knew when I was picking up the trucks. With fuel prices where they are, I spent around $100 more than I should have. They should have been filled up and parked right out front and ready. Instead, I had to walk all around the lot, in the cold, looking for my trucks. I have rented quite a few trucks from uhaul over the years. I have never had to fuel up at the time of pick up. The trucks were great, your people were pretty good, but there is some lacking in some detail work to improve the customer experience.

Call and make arrangements to drop off with scheduling department and get to the location and told we can't and it would cost us more if we did. No mention of loading the truck before we pick up the car dolly. No one in Billings knows about the pre tow inspection for the vehicle. The trailer plug for the lights on the trailer come undone half through the trip and lost the light to the trailer. Not one customer 6rep was very helpful through out the whole process. Can't pick up truck the day we reserved it for. Have to reschedule then told we would have to reschedule again.

I unhooked, dropped the trailer, and drove off. As soon as I got a decent distance away, they all came BACK OUTSIDE, and I lost sight of the employees. NEVER AGAIN!

Dropped off truck a few minutes before close (yes we know that isn't necessarily fair for the worker but with the road conditions it got that late) but still had to do online check out because rep would not acknowledge us outside. Parking lot was also not kept up with on snow and slush and it was like walking through a lake to get to the door

The stress was so intense that when he told us we could leave the truck with him for no extra charge i got tears in my eyes because we really did everything we could to get the truck back safe and the last part of unloading was the hardest for us with two tiny babies and a toddler . It felt like he was the best one that could have been there for us, truly a great person all together . Thank you Adam

He made some gestures to me and essentially told me to drive over the curb while towing your trailer, so I did, then I unhooked it myself, dropped it in the lot and went inside to check out. I don't need the attitude. If the guy is pissed, he should be pissed at the person who parked the truck cock-eyed and was blocking the entrance, not me, I didn't do shit. I will never use this location again.

Another person was there doing the same when we arrived and he stated that it happens all the time and that he asked that day if the employees could do anything about it. They told him that they couldn’t. Honestly, my husband and I discussed purchasing ear plugs for when we have to go to the unit because we’re concerned about damage to our hearing with that kind of alarm blaring in a metal and concrete building. It was a horrible and stressful experience, and I’ve never had that kind of thing happen at an indoor storage facility. Why aren’t staff trained on how to disarm the alarm?
