Call center was not so good, They said we couldn't make any changes at the uhaul location like type of tow vehicle. But they easily made the changes at that location and made it nice.ANDREW T.

Was charged for the 2nd extra day I did and billed the insurance and if I would have known I would have taken it off since we are on such a tight budget. I don't know where to include this-but every person I felt with on the phone was beyond wonderful. John took my final call and he was helpful and guided me to a second option for dropping my trailer off-when the first location was closed. Demetri helped me change my reservation for an additional rental and though I can't remember her name-the first woman I spoke with was really kind and also set em at ease after I discovered I needed a tire change. I was so impressed by everyone and I will live with gratitude for how I was treated and be sure to pay it forward. Awesome experience with Uhaul.Katherine H.

I had reserved a truck at the Pullman location and 2 days later a woman called and said the truck was no longer available. The next closest area was 50 miles away. For the inconvenience they gave me 100 free miles which was much appreciated, however, when I got to the location in Idaho the woman helping me was very unprofessional. Her children kept interrupting the transaction which I didn't mind at first but this combined with the lack of knowledge she seemed to exhibit during the whole transaction made my wait to get the truck an hour long. She had me call the other location 3 times because she was unable to figure out how to add the extra miles and when I finally asked her to speak to them she was very rude and dismissive of them. She called her supervisor on the phone as well and she is the one who ended up handling the transaction over the phone after an hour of time had been wasted. I understand these things take time but the information she needed did not warrant an hour wait especially when I was the only person there. I'm sure I will need uhaul in the future and won't let the one experience turn me away but it was just a very bizarre and frustrating first experience.Gabrielle Z.

The truck was not out and ready when I got there, I had to find it in the lot and pull it out. The truck kept saying it had traction control issues even though it was driving ok. The gas was at 1/4 tank which was barely enough for my use of the truck. Overall I was disappointed as I have had many good experiences in the pastANDREW G.

Manny was the savior of this experience. Our containers weren't even supposed to go to Spokane and he helped us anyway. Corporate U-haul is a terrible joke when it comes to handling your move. But manny saved the day. 5 stars- would recommend Spokane location!SEAN D.

This was not the first location in Spokane Valley that I stopped at. I originally stopped at 14505 E Sprague. There was a gentleman outside who told me where to park. He came back outside and advised me they could not take my truck back, I would have to go to another UHAUL. I was puzzled. They said their lot was full and could not take it back. (Lot was half full). They told me to call 1-800-Uhaul to find out where I could take it back. I advised them this was not my fault- why would I drive by Sandpoint ID where I could have returned this to come here and be accused of a "loss of asset" if I left it here. I was not happy with UHAUL ! I was on the phone for over an hour first with a representative who then told me I need to talk to a scheduler. I remained in that UHAUL lot until I got an answer. Eventually the scheduler set up a return to this location 10304 E Sprague. In all I lost an hour and a half to add to still a remaining long drive home. I was not impressed with the manager at 14505 E Sprague who just told me to take it to another UHAUL and didn't even offer to call for me. He said it was the initial gals fault in Lyle as she should have set the drop off location. I understand that now, I haven't rented a truck in 20 years so I believed what a UHAUL rep told me when I originally rented the truck. The final destination was fine, nice young man checked me in. To add insult to injury, he said I also had extra mileage so he was going to charge me for that. I could have blown my top (since it was UHAUL making me drive around to another drop off) I let it go. I hope that you make this right to me with a cost adjustment. I was assured of a $50+ credit by the scheduler .............. if I don't see it I will be calling as this was not a good UHAUL experience.DANIEL P.
Well with UHAUL in general I never received copies or some kind of verification of the 5 different chat conversations I had. Then at the location they wanted to charge me $100.00 per day . I told them I went thru chat and was told to only bring in the$ 40.00 per day. Everytime I paid cash the next day the man would claim I hadn't. The person I paid in afternoon verified that but the fact I couldn't even though I demanded a receipt was ridiculous. Then trying to get someone who knew much of anything was a joke. I believe this location is scamming customers out of their hard earned cash during a pandemic which is even worse. I now have no choice but to report it to upper management/supervisor and the BBB. They even charged card under account when I paid them cash ...OUTRAGEOUS as a single mom of 5 I refuse to deal with thieves at this location.Christina K.

The person I dealt with when I first came in was nice, but at first didn't want to rent me the trailer I always get. I had to insist in order to get it. He was polite and did accommodate me however. When I dropped it off, the young lady I dealt with was very nice and friendly.DAN V.

The truck and dolly worked well for our needs. However, U-Haulâ€˜s service level and policies are unsatisfactory. I checked out a truck at about 7:30 AM Saturday morning. I returned it by 7:17 PM on the same day. For some reason, on perhaps the busiest day of the week for a movers, this U-Haul location closes at 7 PM. I tried to follow instructions and use their app to check in my vehicle after hours but the app would not perform as it would not identify its own location. So I locked up the vehicle and put the keys in the box. If I had waited to turn it in the next morning while they were open, I would have had to have waited until 9 AM for when they opened. That would have put me past my 24 hour rental period. Long story short, I was charged $21.78 for an â€œAfter Hours Service Feeâ€. That's unacceptable.RICHARD K.

The truck was covered in snow. The brake lights were covered with ice and snow. I had to clean the snow off before moving my expensive furniture in it. The gas tank had an air lock that wouldn't allow me to put gas in it. I tried to different gas stations. The guy that received my truck was an idiot. He was slow and dumb af. I was put next to someone who I guess works out of theirs, or something. Literally lines the walk way with their stuff, cant get a cart through. Why they were not put at the end of the row so they can use the corner and hall with the book end, where there are doors, and its the far corner no one uses it, except me to go around to get access. I don't know. I had to have an employee get me a cart from them as they were using it sit stuff on a record players, and when asked just moved it to a milk crate. Rate this storage facility at U-City POOR. The Staff was nice and tried to be helpful but they were not trained in the U-Haul system to move in customers. It took a lot of phone calls to their Manager Adam to figure out how to admit us. We had to wait 3 hours for our pre-reserved storage unit. When we finally were in the system and signed the contracts and got our access code to the storage facility, the entire system was down and we could not get in. More phone calls to the Manager Adam. It took another hour to get access. By this time we were tired and still had an entire Truck to unload. We did not know the storage units were under ground and have to use an elevator to get to it. This is so messed up. By this time it is after hours. We even tried to see if we could get another storage facility somewhere else, but all of the other places were closed by this time and it is Saturday night. No places are open on Sunday. So we endured the torture of unloading the truck and using a small dolly provide by U-Haul to get all of our stuff moved in. This took way to long. And to top it all off, when we were done which was late into the night, the security system went down again and we could not get out of this facility. Phone calls to U-Haul go unanswered. You cannot get a live person and their emergency call button did not work. Their secure garage doors to get out are 20 feet high. Luckily we had a ladder that we put in storage and was able to use it to climb up and pull the latch release so we could lift the door to get out. I do not see how U-Haul thinks these storage units are going to work with only 2 bays to drive into and then move/haul in an elevator underground. It takes 3 times as long to move in and IF their system goes down you are either locked out and worse, locked in and cannot get out. If I would have known this facility was set up this way we would have paid for storage elsewhere. I can see why they are advertising one month free. We will be moving out ASAP...after we get rested up. This is the worst moving experience we have ever had. And to find out this facility has only been open for a couple days and no training for the employees, plus a poor system with a lot of bugs to work out. This is not how this was advertised on line.
