The agent had no idea what credit card I used to reserve and processed the move on my debit card. After being wiped out financially I had my wife reverse it. 5 days later i am still without money. And we got a smaller truck with no ramp which made packing time longer. We had to leave stuff behind due to the truck size.not being large enough It was not the truck I ordered.

I gave 2 months notice for my move. And yet when the time came, you did not have the right truck. You wanted me to drive 3 hours round trip to pick up the truck. Then, what good is it to reserve the right truck early and coordinate. People plan for their move. They don’t have time to drive 3 hours to pick up a truck that was promised to be there at the location. Next time, I’ll be using Penske.

This location is not available for 24 hour dropoff as indicated on the booking site. After using the online return, the drop box location as depicted is nonexistent. Telephone support was extremely poor. After waiting nearly two hours (on hold, and calling back because we were given incorrect instructions), we elected to return to the location when they opened the next day. Store personnel were rude and unaccommodating. This is our second negative experience with UHaul this year. We will not use your service again.

When you rent your customer a trailer it should be insured it will be there, even if that means picking one up to be at that location!!!!! We rented a car hauler days in advance and at 6:15 the night before they said sorry it was dropped of out of our city limits and was told I would have to go get one somewhere else farther away of course!!! I had a court order to pick up a vehicle by8:00 and didn’t get there till 11 service from hail was awful hade 4 different people working on it and at 8:30 got results !! Very stressful won’t go that route again !!! L

The customer service reps were helpful and nice. The truck itself was very battered but got the job done. However, I didn't know the office should be closed when I returned the truck being they gave me a 6:15pm return time. I ended up virtually returning but didn't like that option since the key drop box wasnt clear. I asked the Ace Hardware people twice but didn't get a definitive answer but ultimately told me there was a box in the back. The only box had a key symbol but not a Uhaul symbol like the " share" boxes by Uhaul , that required a combination. Hopefully the box I put it in was correct

I only rented 10 feet van for couple of hours and put 30miles on and it ended up putting 6 gallons of gas. The van only had little over quarter tank but uhaul associate wrote down it had 3/8 tank of gas so I had fill it up or I have to pay extra $30 and $5 per gallon which totals out to about $70. I was tried from moving and to argue with her so I just filled it up to 3/8 and left. How is posible driving only 30 mailes ended up paying 6 gallons of gas. When you rent Uhaul triple check gas reading.

The truck I had reserved wasn’t at my location. It was picked up by the shop. The employees proceeded to tell me that that’s not supposed to happen. No one attempted to contact me to let me know that there would be an issue with the availability of the truck I reserved. If I hadn’t come in early I would’ve been completely out of a truck for the weekend which wouldn’t caused major problems

Problem: I asked for a specific trailer at a location in modesto. A differen trailer was offered at a location in tracy. Solution: state on your website that the exact trailer at that exact location may not be available (my reservation was a month in advance).

Ace hardware was very helpful with my order. I had gone with the uhaul truck share 24/7 and had numerous issues and long wait times for the verification process. Pickup took 1 hour.... And the return took 30+ minutes and the website wouldn't accept my payment so I had to go inside and the nice employee checked over the truck and I was out faster than doing it through my phone. The whole process of picking up and returning the truck was slow and extremely buggy. It wouldn't let me use the phone number I was using because it was ”already in use”, issues with taking pictures and the website not uploading them, finally payment issues. Total waste of time.

No one was there to check in the trailer. The app on my phone would not upload the photo, so it wasn't as smooth as normal. 545 pm the Ace Hardware was open with lots of staff, but a sign saying U-Hual 830-5 pm only! Not a bad experience, just had to leave the trailer and a staff member said it should be fine.

Did mobile registration and had to go in the store to get the key as the self key was not available. Was not informed that I needed to return the truck to the gas level it was when rented so ended up paying more money.

We signed up for smartphone access to speed up the process. Huge mistake at this location, perhaps anywhere with Uhaul. Clearly their technology is not where they think it is. There were several things required that could have been done ahead of time, like photos of drivers license and selfie. We struggled to jump through all their hoops only to have to go inside anyway, wait in line and check out the old fashioned way because this location doesn’t have a lock box to enable smartphone access. Wasted about 20 frustrating minutes and started our very long, tiring day off on the wrong foot.
