I wanted a 15 ft truck but was forced to take a 20 ft truck which I believe used more gas as I felt like it was revving very high rpmsJohn D.

I am not happy with my first transaction with uhaul. I was not given my reserved truck had to find one myself at another location and I feel I should be given further discounts for all the inconvenience you caused. I had to do a two way move. Which cost me more!Jamie B.

This location was great and accommodated all of the last-minute changes. However, Uhaul really screwed me over. They changed my reservation at the very last minute and moved me to a location over an hour and a half away from my original location. They also changed the size of my trailer from a 5x8 to a 6x12 which is almost double the cost! I ended up putting in some extra work and found a nearby location that had the actual size trailer that I needed. I am not sure why Uhaul could not find that for me. The lady who called me to inform me that my reservation changed was not sympathetic at all! I told her I had to work and could not drive that far. She basically told me that if I wanted it, that was all I had and I would be out of luck. I had to put in the extra work myself to find what I actually needed, and then when I did, Uhaul did not have a ball mount available for my hitch, no fault of the furniture store. This entire pickup was a very poor experience. Again, the on-site employees at the furniture store were very helpful and even stayed late to help with the mess that Uhaul created.Brittny T.

My complaint has nothing to do with the locations. Funny how the review form only allows customers to rate the locations and not corporate/pricing. I'm appalled at the misleading prices on the website and the exorbitant charges for a 2-hour rental. Will not use U_Haul ever again nor will I recommend them to others.TYLERC G.
I booked the truck online, when I arrived they could not find my reservation so I had to rebook everything in person. Once we were done they did find my reservation, so that was a waste of my time.. I asked for NO insurance but I got changed anyways, so it cost me more then expected.. Overall my experience was fine, friendly helpful staff, clean well maintained truck, convenient location.Chris A.

There was no person too help us sign out the vehicle and the o line experience was not pleasant. The dolly we asked for was not there and we were billed for it. I mentioned this when I saw the receipt in an email and was told someone on Monday would call about this and I didn't get a call. We had a very stressful moving experience with Uhaul as a result of multiple gaps in communication, poor customer service and a poorly functioning app, all of which wasted time, resources and money. I implore the Uhaul management team to consider these three essentials for this business to function: - The need for improved customer service, including the very basics of notifying customers when their truck actually won't be available, and proactiveness in conversation on fulfilling customer needs, such as offering alternative locations to rent appliance dollies when one was not included despite being requested in reservation. These were major sources of stress and frustration for us. - The need for information to be consistent regardless of the avenue in which it is being provided - whether it is through an app, online account, website or verbally through customer service - this was a major source of confusion for us. - The need for an improved app that is not fraught with glitches and requires the customer to uninstall and reinstall several times before the app is functioning as intended. I hope this was an isolated incident and that our experience is not repeated for another customer.Cory G.

Cobourg was the original drop off location but got changed to Port Hope when pick up location got changed. Could not return in Cobourg as the phone app would not allow it. Hours spent on the phone trying to get it changed with no luck. Drove extra kms from Cobourg to Port Hope to return and had to pay extra kms as well as the fuel. Customer service was none existent thru the entire rental.Brad B.

You need to get your electronic check-in systems to work far better. I could not check out or check in with the app because your website kept crashing mid-process. I LOST 90 minutes of a busy day because I had to wait until Vosburgh's opened and they kindly checked me out. I could not check back in ta the end of the day so I left a voice mail indicating the time I returned the vehicle and the mileage. I also called the Uhaul phone line in the morning when the system kept crashing and all I got was a very long hold so I gave up.MICHAEL B D.
